  • Just a really quickly slapped together video playing around with using low and high tom trigger outs from the Roland TR-06 Boutique as accent and slide inputs, respectively. That is, the low tom trigger out from the TR-06 is controlling the TD-3-MO accent and the high tom trigger out is controlling the slide.
Around 1:17, I start programming in probability values for low tom and high tom. I'm in write mode and pressing/holding a step at a time until "P.100" shows up, then adjusting the value knob accordingly. Probability is set per-step in increments of 10% and actually allows for a probability of 0%, if you want it.
Some compression, reverb and delay are coming from Ableton Live Suite 11.
    Connections:
TR-06 LT Out to TD-3-MO Accent In
TR-06 HT Out to TD-3-MO Slide In
TD-3-MO Phones Out to TR-06 Mix In (via mini TRS 1/8" male/male)
The TR-06 is playing its TR-909 kick and snare sounds, but the sounds are coming directly from the TR-06 itself over USB. The TD-3-MO audio is also routed through the TR-06 to its own audio channel courtesy of the multi channel audio interface in the TR-06. Channels 9 & 10 from the TR-06 audio interface are the isolated mix in as stereo.
