    📜 Video Description 📜
In poker, sometimes we forget just how important it is for our win-rate that our opponents make big mistakes. This video showcases missed value bets, blunderous bluffs and just plain polarisation errors as we explore some of the gifts I recently got in my 100 Rush and Cash Challenge on GG Poker.

Hey Pete watch and love all the content it’s by far the best on UA-cam, the variance video is great but has had me feeling constrained on how much I could loose, maybe you could make a video about a great run of variance to see how ugh we could win if we got lucky! Thanks again your content great!

I enjoy the off the cuffness. You're the funniest person in poker imo, and there's often gold information within the humour as well as throughout the rest of the video too. Great content always. You can do whatever the hell you want, Pete.

Nice video. For as far as I know, the rakle mentioned in the table is including the preflop 3bet action. What is not included is that GG also takes 1bb for the bad beat jack pot if pot is bigger than a certain amount. I am not sure if pokerstars is doing this do. Also the rake back is quite unclear. The claim is that it is similar than what i did get back at partypoker. But in practice I get half of it. Biggest benefit of GG compair to the rest is there enourmous player pool, so enough actions and enough whales to swim with.

Here's a strategy-related question. Was there an alternative line to take in the A5 - TT hand? Maybe one that might have got the villain, who was obviously willing to make a spewy turn bet, put in a larger amount "as a bluff" - or just put more chips in the pot for any reason? One where the EV might be higher overall than the value you actually realised by winning this pot?
EDIT: I don't see an obvious one - but that's why I'm not the poker coach.

people always trash gg rake but its fine up to about 200nl when i was grinding 10nl rush on there i got 2 bb/100 over 100k hands rake back just on the daily 100k flipout alone

The A5o hand @10:19. Realizing the polarization error opponent makes on the turn... Wouldn't it be a good idea to make a small "block" bet on the river when the flush comes in... Say around half his turn bet size? Thinking that if someone wanted to make a check min. raise the turn he probably would have folded. With the 3rd flush card coming and donk betting OOP wouldn't that look very weak? A reasonable flush would probably raise and KK with a club could also bluff at it, QQ would also still raise and the TT with a Club like he had would still most likely call a 3-4bb bet as well...
Keep the awesome content coming! I'm taking advantage and getting full value from it and I'm using that value, to grind my way to buy the full course at some point!

    • @animaroku
      @animaroku 7 місяців тому +1

I think its an interesting idea, but villian is very polar on the turn, so he should probably not call on the river too much. The only way block bet is better than checking in my opinion is if it induces villian to bluff a hand that is a check back, and I think there are not too many. I think there is more merit to blocking than checking, because some low flushes and high pocket pairs will be obligated to call, were they can value river and we can check raise river, which is one of the most printing situations in the game

I don't get how primedope get their bb/100 rake figure...
Like doesn't it depend on how you're playing?
How can everyone be paying the same amount of bb/100? I just don't get that.

    • @genesises

      @@genesises I'm not talking about the %, i'm talking about the bb/100.

The amount of money we put into each pot on average, varies depending on opponents and our own strategy. No?
So i don't get how they get the bb/100. Is it based on GTO play vs GTO play? Or what?
      I don't understand. It's a question. The only claim i originally made was that i don't understand.
Seeing as none of you have explained it, i'll take it you don't either, lol.

Fear, i was hoping this would come up in one of your videos, how to deal with this? Not just failing to maximise bets in scary spots, maximise EV but also not 3 betting fearing being 4 bet, so chickening out and calling for example. Is this covered in your poker therapy book or elsewhere in any of your couses?
