Thank you! What is the standard process in the U.S. for unload time on receiving a container? Say I pay drayage from the port to my business, does the driver wait for unloading, or do they drop the box and chassis, and return later for the unit? Assume perhaps a non-palletized load of heavy bulk cargo like stone blocks, not slabs. In a different case supposing a 200 mile drayage, does that change the scenario? For super long drayage, is it economical to transload the cargo near the port for a dry van to take it to the business? One more lol who usually hires the drayage trucker? Freight forwarder, customs broker, other logisitcs company, or shipping line? Thank you very much!
