Hi Steven, 🤔, this British movie doesn’t ring a bell, but does look like a movie that use to be shown by the BBC late on Saturday nights in the 80’s. Alistair McLean novels made into movies I’ve seen most of, but this does have me curious & wonder if there’s a dvd or blu ray release ? Anthony Hopkins is one Britain’s greatest actors in the last 50yrs so I don’t doubt he didn’t bring his A game to this movie even though it’s early in his career, thanks for the review 😎👍
Love this film ever since I was a child. Anthony Hopkins' Philip Calvert seemed so much more accessible than Bond. Shame it didn't make enough money to do a sequel.
Anthony Hopkins looks so young in this film, and I think Jack Hawkins was so brave to take on this part after loosing his voice. Well done to both. x
