For all of those who have negative comments , frustration is a lifestyle. Just be able to buy such a car ,drive it and speak after.Meanwhile ,please return to your 6-10 years old cars and swallow dry when an 50e is flying near you on highway. Then sure, come back here for another negative post.

agreed. i think it's funny that people are comparing different cars completely out of this class... i have seen a guy comparing it to an M2 a BMW diesel, ....
the only cars you can compare this too are: Volvo XC90T8 455hp, porsche cayenne hybrid 463hp, GLE 400e 388hp, Q7 60TFSI e 462hp

I haven’t been a fan of BMW’s for a few years now as they just seem to get more and more weird looking however I think the X5 has knocked it out of the park with this update, really has turned into one of the better looking SUVs for me.

Exterior is fine. The interior, no. That stupid X5 >>>>>> thing on the passenger side, a screen that looks like a bolt on after thought, elimination of all the buttons.... no

@AutoTopNL What if you drive through city only on electric and then there is a situation when you need to floor this 50e? Combustion engine will turn on, but it's cold. Is it managed somehow? Is oil warmed up earlier?

@@andrejdojcinovic9139 if you have the car unlocked it will cost serious money, it will only be temporary till next firmware update and you have to send the ECU off to a specialist. Or you buy a tuning box which many despise of and which gets you weaker results. These are the two options I am aware of, neither of them great.

Gotta say, quite impressive for a heavy bmw suv that isnt even a real m 😂 my dad just recently got his x5 its the pre lci version of the current gen, pretty nice i must say

@@JC-JC20 Life Cycle Impulse...BMW lingo for mid cycle refresh. They typically make major improvements during LCIs. For example, my '22 M550ix, which was an LCI got about a 70HP bump, along with some other updates.
@autotopnl, will you do a full review of this car ? would love to hear what you think of it, compared to the 45e, which you were not 100% a fan of.
Стрелки на приборке были лучше ! Такой тахометр никакого драйва не дает , а такой спидометр не показывает динамики ускорения , стрелки лучше 👍
if you put it in hybrid mode and keep it in drive when you floor it the battery will kick in at higher RPMs

@@DekiDeki-zq6si 1st of March but with individual color so it takes a bit longer. It has actually already been delivered end of July but it has some transport damage that needs to be fixed now ... 🙄
But I remember that a lot of orders came in in March and the delivery was substantially later when ordered in April compared to March. Orders in summer were expected to be delivered next year already. Also depends a lot on if your dealer has some "contingency" so orders that are already in the queue but can still be configured by the dealer, instead of having to put an actual new order in the line at the end. Depending on the size of the dealer he will already have a few in the queue that he can sell to customers. Hope the coming review will shorten the time for you a bit. 😉

@@benboelens4812 Hi Ben, Thanks for both video's - it helps with daily suffering while waiting for mine... have a question for you... you seem to be getting most of the M performance parts that are availably yet no carbon/Alcantara steering wheel. I think it would fit nicely with the carbon trim and Alcantara headlining and im considering it. Any reason why you did not go for it ? Thanks
@@janpilny426 the alcantara healiner, i orderd this, but didn’t get it. Im still kinda sad… the carbon trim for the wheel is now orderd. So soon i also will have the carbon trim and the carbon front splitter

Because the electric motor can deliver almost 200 hp. You will definitely feel that electric assistance for sure.

@6.2v87 not true, I have a true "brick" aerodynamics, cammed Tahoe 6.2, but with all the mods and 470-480hp, I have 100-200 around 16.5 on a sunny day, so I guess this BMW is just limited in some ways

I drive a n57. 535d. Im way slower 100-200 I get about 16s'ish. Stage 1 I would probably come close to this car

who wouldnt? X5m is one of the coolest SUVs. The point of this is being a soccer mom car.
Same thing in Finland with taxes on high CO2 cars. Hybrids or EV's are the only way to avoid paying huge taxes@@benboelens4812
