Nice presentation! I’ve seen them but never had someone explain it’s features. I’m glad you didn’t turn up that echo crap. I hear truckers on 19 all the time who have that turned up so high that I can’t understand them. My humble opinion is that some guy at a cheap CB shop hooks a radio up to a Dosy Meter POS and turns up the echo to prove it will put out about 60 watts. All with 12 volts and 3 amps……
Verrry cool! Never knew something like this existed. Would one of these work with my CPI-2000 base? Using either my CPI base mic (still out for repairs/partial restoration at Clairmont Skyland North in GA) or my RF Limited (Road Noise) 2018 Extreme hand mic? And what does the "Noise Gate" do? I watched a video directly from UR6QW that walked through the operation (using an audio scope) but it was hard to tell what it was doing to the sound. Your thoughts? Thanks - Brad

Been running a similar one lately. It really does give you that punch. Awesome vid as usual. Keep em coming.
Set up right they can make a CB sound much better. I love them and won't be on the air without one since I've had one.
Would you share your EQ and other settings that you use for the CB, Thanks
I noticed your HF Rig was on the 80 meter Hammy Ham band 😂.

I have it too...great equalizer , only one thing...
Together with your voice, you hear broooooooom
This should be better done
It's a thought but unless I find a screaming deal I'll be working on some more transmit or another transceiver first. Thanks for the video.

Evening mike, sorry I missed the show last night. I had to go to the emergency room because I got stung by ground hornets.
That sucks. You alright? Hope all is well.
Oooo YIKES! Not good my friend, hope you are feeling better, and yes we did miss you. Cheers
@@390WagonMaster I am now, seems I’ve developed a slight allergy to hornet stings. Nothing major but they get me not feeling good.
@@SkipShooter Glad they were able to avert any serious complications. Got to keep that Boilermaker in action!!

pretty nice setup.
Do you like it ? I've been wanting one. Send it out here and I'll give you my opinion on the livestream. That way I can see if I spring for one...
It is a good quality device, but personally I like a +2 plugged straight into the radio. It is a fun toy to play with from time to time. Cheers
👍🏻👍🏻
They do work well, but you will be better off using a studio mic through the mic port in the front. 73👋🏻
