well, she sure as hell ain't no "young lady" now. Other than looking for cash, I don't see the motive coming out 40 years later with a matter that, apparently, everybody already knew about.
This woman waited 35 years and holds on to unforgiveness. Unforgiveness hurts the person holding it, not the person to be forgiven. From the Lord's Prayer: "Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us." She is unable to receive God's grace because she is holding on to hatred.
@@centariprime9959Just because you forgive doesnt mean you can't tell the truth have you not read the bible? The truth will set you free? Plus she was a 12 year old girl at the time.
@@deadboltzz5199 Holding on to unforgiveness only hurts you, not the person you refuse to forgive. Forgive to set yourself free. She had the chance to press charges. Her dad had the chance to press charges. The statute of limitations has expired. They have no recourse now. Coming forward now is too little too late and all she did is show her unforgiveness. That is only hurting her.
Some men rely on the bible to shield evil men, especially those who harm women and children. Any book that discourages you from reporting and punishing criminals is not a book to respect! (I actually heard a radio preacher discourage battered women from calling 911. He did not approve of shelters or police intervention. He told wives take the beatings, forgive him, be especially warm in bed, submit. Soon the man will be a Christian too. )
Did anyone else notice, that the first thing the liberal media did was to say, "That Robert Morris" was an advisor to President Trump? Gee, did the democrats pay that woman a lot of money to come out about this after all the years? I bet they did, anything to make President Trump look awful!
Cindy, you are a Warrior! Thank you for having the courage and bravery to keep speaking out. You are saving others, no doubt. I hope anyone who has ever been through similar abuse will know we believe you and we want to know the truth. This is NOT your fault.
I have been a member of Gateway Church for 12 years and I agree with you 100%! This is not the accuser's fault. I am so sorry that I supported a man and a church that let this happen. It is a pity that the statute of limitations has run out because Robert Morris deserves to go to prison for what he did to her (and probably others). Speaking for myself and all the members of Gateway who did not know about this, we pray for your healing and have no hard feelings against you. By the way, I will no longer be attending Gateway church because I feel that the powers that be knew about this and covered it up.
She should have brought forth charges. Why didn't her dad? Why didn't she? This woman waited 35 years and holds on the unforgiveness. Unforgiveness hurts the person holding it, not the person to be forgiven. From the Lord's Prayer: "Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us." She is unable to receive God's grace because she is holding on to hatred. She and her dad had their chance, but blew it. Why? The statute of limitations have no limit for s3xual abuse of a child. She needs to talk to a lawyer and to the police.
Morris’s acts against this 12-year-old child (not a “young lady” as he claims) are reprehensible. He abused her during a five-year period. He may have repented and been forgiven and restored by God, but not into ministry. From the first se**al assault on this child, he should have been arrested, processed, and made to register as an offender like everyone else. He is not above the law, quite the contrary, clergymen are held to a higher standard by God and men. Pursuant to 1 Timothy 3:2-7, from the onset, he disqualified himself and therefore has been unqualified to be a pastor since then. The kicker is that it wasn’t a one-time offense and there could be other victims through the years. While there is a statute of limitations in Oklahoma, there is no statute of limitations in Texas for Cindy or any other victim to file charges now.
Saul he killed lots of Christians and just watched Stephen get stoned to death! Jesus Christ turned Saul to the Paul on the road to Damascus so you know the rest of the story! Agree. Sadly, their followers allow it, in every Christian group. They are doing a good job though, in keeping up with Catholic priests and the Catholic Church though.🫤

Bless you for your bravery and what you have endured all these years. I work with foster children who have been sexually abused and we are mandated reporters. Biblical restoration does not mean going back to a leadership position. According to scripture, he is permanently disqualified from ever being a pastor. He should have been held accountable to the laws that he broke. Robert Morris did not repent. Himself and the elders at Gateway Church continue to minimize what happened by calling you a young lady. You were a molested child. What we see happening now is exactly why scripture says a leader must be above reproach. Even though it’s been many years, this is bringing reproach on God’s church and His name is being blasphemed. Thank you for your courage.

God has called us to repent, Of all sin. No matter how terrible, if we repent and turn away, we are forgiven. This includes Pastor Robert Morris. Why is this looked at differently than other people’s sins? For example, a woman who used abortion as birth control. Many women have multiple abortions over a course of many years. That’s murder of a “child”. I see forgiveness extended to them very readily, as it should be, so why not this? If God can forgive it, so should we.

Sometimes coming forward costs more than the victim can bear. Like losing your whole family for exposing the s3x abuser.. That is a good thing that he told people about Jesus Christ, and helped them receive salvation. It is a bad thing that he carried on this secret sin for 5 years. The good things do not absolve him of the bad. This is the kind of sin/crime that means he must not be in any contact with any potential victim ever again. It is sociopathic, these people thrive on control and cannot help themselves. No, that is not an unforgiving spirit. I can forgive him, God can and his victim can. Keeping him from the remotest chance of falling into sin again is the least anyone can do.
I grieve that this “inheritance of the pulpit” continues to this day, especially when crime is involved. It shows how they view the church as a lucrative business. It’s an abomination.
Wow, glad I'm not the judge at this trial. Which sin is worse - murdering Christians or abusing a child? Saul was responsible for the death of Christians. He truly repented and followed God faithfully for the rest of his life which ended with him being martyred for his Savior. Paul (as he was later called) was used of God to bring countless numbers of people to Christ in his time and through out history by those who believed the inspired writings he wrote that were included in the Bible. So even though he committed horrible crimes he found forgiveness with God, was restored and served God as a minister for the rest of his life. Peter, denied Christ 3 times in a row and ran away as a coward when his master was arrested and stood trial. He was in hiding while his teacher was dying on a cross. Yet, he found forgiveness and was used of God to bring thousands to Christ. He continued to serve Christ the rest of his life until he too was martyred for his faith. So what is the case with Robert Morris? I don't have enough information to make a judgment. I don't know if Robert truly repented. I know he has continued in the ministry and has led others to Christ and helped many. So was this a case of past sins not truly repented of catching up with him and judgment from God upon him now? Or is it a case of the forces of evil bringing this man down to prevent him from doing God's work? I don't know. God knows.
He molested a 12 year old girl. Don't you dare compare him to Paul or Peter. Paul was ardently persecuting Christians as a Pharisee well within his legal rights to put to death heretics. Jesus changed his heart and showed him that He was actually God, and Paul repented. He went around preaching and being beaten, jailed, shipwrecked, poisoned, and more all the while telling of his past sin in complete truth and giving the glory of his repentance to God. Morris has lied and evaded the actual truth for decades; if he was a TRUE man if God he would know his sin has disqualified him from church leadership according to scripture. This man not only minimized his "moral failing" he tried to blame the victim, refused to pay her counseling bills, asked her to sign an NDA, and wrote books based on his false testimony. We know him by his fruits, and his fruits are ROTTEN.
You would know if you read your Bible. It was Satan working through Robert Morris to rape that child 35 years ago. It was Satan working through the administration of that church not removing the pedophile as they should have. And it is Satan now using this situation yet atain (that he orchestrated 35 years ago) to deceive and destroy. If Robert Morris hadn't allowed Satan to use him 35 years ago this wouldn't be an issue today. All these naive people say "look at all the amazing good Morris has done in these past 35 years." And I say "look at how Satan is yet again using Robert Morris's sin today destroying faith in God, dividing His people, and dividing His church from society as a whole. Doing much more destruction than Robert Morris ever did good." THIS is a win for the cunningness of Lucifer. If Robert Morris had kept his dick in his pants OVER THE 4 - COUNT THEM - 4 YEARS that he continued to rape this child, then this would be a win for God. Robert Morris's depravity lost this win for God and made it a win for Satan. THIS IS A CLEAR CALL TO CHRISTIANS TO OPEN THEIR EYES! STRAP ON THE THE SHEILD'S OF FAITH IN GOD AND PICK UP THEIR SWORDS! THIS IS A SPIRITUAL BATTLE AND NO CHRISTIAN GETS TO SIT IT OUT!

@jhp2616 M.T. just confirmed my comment that, indeed, there is NO statute of limitations for child (*strict liability) molestation/rape in Texas. Additionally, Pastor Robert also committed the same act in Oklahoma-across state lines, clearing the way for a federal investigation by DOJ.
@@TheGothicdolphin What is M. T.? Well this is quite confusing to me for 2 reasons. 1) My Attorney told me just last fall that he couldn't continue with my case as he had thought because my case had surpassed the Statute of Limitations. 2) Just this passed Monday I called the police station in Southlake, Texas and asked why they hadn't arrested Pastor Robert. Their response was that the statute of limitations had run out so there was nothing they could do. If you have better information I'd like to know where to find it. Because everything I find on line supports my attorney's and the police's claim. "What Is The Statute Of Limitations For Sexual Abuse Lawsuits? {in Texas} The statute of limitations for sexual abuse lawsuits in Texas has been modified. Previously, child victims of sexual assault had 15 years to file a claim dating from the their eighteenth birthday. Adult victims of sexual assault had five years. That deadline is calculated from the date of the attack. However, in 2019, Texas legislators passed a new law that gave child victims more time to file. The new law allows for a 30-year statute of limitations on child sexual abuse. That deadline is calculated from the date of the victim’s 18th birthday. Initially, the bill exempted churches and nonprofits from the expanded statute of limitations. However, victims of sexual abuse protested this exception, and the House amended the bill to include those institutions."

It isn't for the victim or us to determine if Morris was truly repentant. He followed Biblical prodicle by confessing his sin and then going through a two year program or something of that sort. His past years since then speak of a repentant man who has turned from that behavior. What he did was wrong. No one should be abused in any way, however, why come forward now? God will judge Pastor Morris. It's our duty to forgive. My daughters were molested, no intercourse involved, by a neighbor many years ago. Thankfully, our daughters told us what was happening so we could stop it. It was difficult to forgive the man but I felt it was what we were supposed to do. We could have pressed charges but the Bible says to forgive. As a family, we worked hard to forgive him and eventually we did truly forgive him. We still feel good about our decision. My daughters are happily married and have given us seven grandchildren. I pray for God's peace to surround both the victim and Pastor Morris and his family. And I also pray that Christians don't lose their faith because of this. This isn't God's fault.

You are correct. This is not God's fault. As God's word says it is Satan's plan to seek to deceive and destroy. And God has given Satan full reign to do exactly that until God returns. This is clear and plainly written in the Word of God. Why Christian people refuse to see that and recognize it for what it is remains to be astounding to me. This is pure unadulterated evil in which Mr. Morris has allowed himself to be the vessel of Satan in this situation and has done so willingly. This type of evil does not come from a pure heart or good human being or sanctified believer. 35 years ago or yesterday this is still pure evil. This is not simply a human mistake. Raping a child once is certainly NOT "just a mistake." It is a hideous crime of soul crushing destruction. And raping a child repeatedly over a 4 year period only comes from a very deep well of true evil. Wake up Christians!
Are you ready for the next victims of his to speak up? There is NEVER just one. You have no idea the damage this does to victims. True repentance on his part would be similar to that of an alcoholic- to make a point of never being in contact with the source of their addiction again. He has not done that. He is sorry he got caught.
Morris & elders tried to pay Cindy off. Have her sign a NDA! That is not repentance. To call Cindy a young lady & flirtatious really is evil. 12 yr old!
Many people in different geographical places use the term young lady as a form of respect to a female. Some even use it when addressing matured women of higher ages.
Yes, including two other men who were in bed with her but realized how young she was. Some 12 year Olds are sexual I did a church class for 12 and 13 year old girls around that time. Those girls were very street wise, carried condoms in their purses, and had mouths like sailors.
You are correct. There is a significantly higher probability that there are other victims. And basically a non-existent probability that he has truly repented and abstained from raping other children.
She says it God's time to do this? REALLY??? God would never tells us to destroy another person's life or reputation. If someone sins against us we are to go to them privately and discuss the matter. I' don't agree with what he did, but crucifying him in the court of public opinion is just as wrong as what we done to her. Two wrongs do not make a right.

Doesn't gave partner before his marriage and punished me only after his marriage. Killer God judging poor and fatherless people only.
I feel for this woman . You can see her hurt and bitterness. The time this should have been made right was woth her parents as she was still a child/ teen. It appears the parents did forgive him. It was their choice not to go to police. Years ago I saw him at the pulpit referring to a messed up time in his life,he became emotional and acknowledged his wife as being the reason for standing with him thru it and very grateful He started to weep. Truely you saw a repentant heart. Yet it was never disclosed what it was about. This was about 15 to 20 yrs ago. I am certain this was what it was about. I have found great signicance in the Lords prayer especially in lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. We live in a very sexual society since late 70's till present. It was our ignorance as satan was bringing his perversion into society that the Church didnt take a stand against it and teach their sheep not to be led into temptation but be delivered from evil. Pastor Morris was young in age and in Minstry. The happening of King David and his fall to adultry and murder should have been considered but temptation as with King David who was not a young adult took root. Yet God never thru King David away .In fact He call him a man after Gods own heart. Abraham had sex committing adultry making a child with his servant after God had made a promise to him for a child with his wife. It really takes a willingness to see these situations thru Gods word His heart and mind. Being Carnal minded becomes our sin against God. Had Pastor Morris continued this Sin it would be different but he did do what the word says to do. Repent, turn away .He got proper counseling. I think about sins of my past and then remember the message of the cross is those sins were paid for by the Blood of Jesus. As far as the east is from the west avcording to the Word of God. As Christian's we want to embrace this truth for ourselves but crucify someone else for their past sins. We can not gave it both ways.We forgive as we want to be forgiven. My concern is why this eoman waited till now to come forth? Why publicly? Why not in private with the Church Elders and Pastor Morris? For this womans sake she needs to search her heart for these answeres. Her healing will only come from this and forgiveness. Time we who call ourselves Christians start seeking God for discernment in these issues. Most important we fo not let Satan use this to destroy.
Morris was supposed to confess and be trust God to get him through the consequences, not let others cover it up for him. He should know the scripture, Luke 12:2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. 3 Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

It’s a family matter that from what I’m reading was addressed a very long time ago. Only the family ( parents) had control of that situation. Still a family matter.
I’m not saying what he did was right, it was very wrong. He was in his twenties. Once a person falls the world will not forgive. If he done what the Bible says about what pastors do forgiveness and all that this video said that he done for forgiveness. Then if the leadership sees that he repented and there is no more accusations after that. Then he has the right to preach again. People look at pastors as a god, they put him on a pedestal like he can’t do no wrong. He’s in the flesh just like we all are, he has short comings too. Yes! They are under a stricter way of doing things. But as a Christian we should forgive not saying you have to go to that church. But it’s a long time ago and he had no other accusations against him since then that we know of. If there is that we don’t know about God will deal with him. I’m sure some of you who have commented. Have done horrible things in your life and want God to forgive you and not have it hanging over your head. Thank God, God is not like that, once we ask for forgiveness, God throws it into the sea of forgetfulness never to be remembered again. But not the world, you make one mistake, your done for life. Like they have never done or said anything bad or done bad In their lives. Some of you living with your boyfriend or girlfriend and not married. Sleeping around with all kinds of men and women. Taking someone else’s man or woman, watches porn…etc. He has made precautions about being in a room with a female by himself, he has said he makes sure their is someone with him when he’s talking to a female. I’ve heard him say that. We love you Pastor Morris, stay with God. To the women that this was done to. I’m sorry you had to go through that, please forgive, he made a terrible mistake but he has regrets and he has asked for forgiveness. It’s up to you to forgive.
If we do not believe that Jesus died in our place and thus set the repented sunner free, then He died invaine. Pastor always said he lived an immoral life before Jesus saved him. He repented, had councelling, told his wife. That is taking repentance to a high level. God forgave him People please only cast a stone if you are without sin. Stop crusifying him.
He may have repented to God. But when he claimed to having an affair with a young lady he lied. You have to get consent to have an affair. A twelve year old girl is not old enough to give consent. It was sexual assault on a minor which is a crime.
STOP GIVING HIM GRACE ... HE MOLETSTED A CHILD ...A 12 YEAR OLD CHIILD AND LIED ... HE "CONFESSED" TO AN IMMORAL ACT AND AFFAIR ... WITH A YOUNG LADY ... HE NEVER TOLD THE TRUTH ... HE NEVER CONFESSED TO MOLESTING A CHILD .... THERE IS NO PLACE IN THE CHURCH FOR PEDOPHILES ....
This is what victims do. They frequently wait many years to say anything because it is so humiliating, and because they dont think anyone will believe them. Besides, she did say something way back then, right? And the church tried to take care of it on the inside. You all need to get an education about this stuff, now. Her reaction is COMPLETELY NORMAL. She is not the one to be questioned here. He is.
Heavy petting is not intercourse by the way. Doesn't make it right by any means, but let's be clear as to what we are talking about. Vaginal intecourse or kissing, touching body parts. Those are very different.
Sorry, BUT you aren't being clear as to what we are talking about here. You haven't heard the whole story apparently. You are only listening to the predator's account of what happened and the wording used by the church trying to cover up his horrible soul crushing crimes against this child. This one video already tells you that. But I guess you just didn't hear it. When you dig into who this Robert Morris person actually is you learn what a horrific predatory criminal he really is. And you learn how many of the men in this church who have protected him are also sexual predators. His wife has also always been knowledgeable of all of his actions and has herself demeaned and villainized this 12 year old child. A man who had been his friend, who looked up to him working beside him and trusting him even calls him out as a master manipulator, predatory pedophile and sociopath. His friend also says that if you know the timeline of how things went down his actions are always to protect himself, NOT to have a repentant heart. His words are lies. His actions have always been those of a deceiver, sorry that he was caught, but not sorry for his actions. His actions have always paralleled those of a predator seeking out his prey and then concealing his sin in any way possible. LISTEN TO THIS: Robert Morris has said that he seeks out children who are not loved and supported by their parents because those are the easiest targets. This is always a technique of a predatory seriel offender. Now no other victims are known about at this time. But mark my words - there WILL be. But for the children’s sake I hope that I am so wrong. I will be happy to be wrong about this.
@jhp2616 I've known Robert Morris when he drove around in his car that barely had a floorboard evangelizing only getting a few dollars if that where he preached. And by the way, his wife Debbie & son was in that car at those churches with him. I also knew him at Shady Grove church when he was associate pastor. Before you get all holier than thou. Check yourself.
Robert Morris has openly admitted many times over that he had a drinking & drug use problem. Have you righteous people ever got drunk & forgot what you did? Or suffered any memory loss from drug use. Ever gotten pregnant outside of wed lock? What about an abortion ever had one of those? Have you considered that a 12 year old can consent to sex without understanding what she is doing? Have you considered that she has confused vaginal intercourse with heavy petting? Have you asked yourself why she is bringing this out now when, in fact, they all spoke about it together in 2005? Be careful who and what you judge when you don't have all the facts.
@@robindiddle9288 I'm sorry that you love Robert Morris so much that you can't step back and see what he really is. Maybe one of these days you'll come to realize just how severely you've been deceived. OR . . . No. I'm not going to say that! The question right now for me is "am I more concerned about being right or being kind." So I'll chose "kind." Have a great night and may God bless you, your family, and all of your Christian endeavors. (You've been loved)
I'm sorry you can't see the log in your own eye, but so clearly see it in others. Remember, with what measure you judge, you will reap that and more judgment upon yourself. I'm happy to pray that Jesus will soften your heart towards sinners like me and you. To speak well of everyone regardless. To love those who are not always lovable. To be more like Jesus every day and less like who we are right now. Blessings in Jesus name
KENS 5, listen up. Your title on this video is false. It says the pastor responds, but that's not what you played. You only featured his accuser, not his response. That is an outright lie on your part. Get your stories straight.
I do not in any way condone this and think exactly like most of you commenting. However, my biggest question is why the parents of this (child at the time) did not push for justice? I'm not speaking as in the church aspect, I'm speaking as in the judicial system. Doesn't seem as though the parents were too concerned about their young daughter being molested. Preacher, friend, relative, I do not care who it is, they touch my child in that way, I will not stop until they pay for what they've done. The entire story makes me nauseous.
“For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?” (1 Peter 4:17).
He's been to counseling for years. Who's to say he didn't disclose this to his counselors? Who's to say he truly didn't repent? His behavior stopped. He sinned no more. We don't know if he stopped all sexual immorality, we just don't know if he addressed it (porn, etc) if there was any. Sounds like the family was aware. Maybe they forgave him then. Did the girl? Maybe he had too much shame and couldn't do his pastoral job anymore. What i know is that Christ forgives anyone. People should not condemn him.
He should have stepped down. Sad how these pastors are falling left and right. No wonder people don't want to go to church and get salvation. God will judge.
In politics, movies, music, sports, jobs, churches, etc, etc,. Why do women keep doing the same thing over and over again. They wait half of their lifetime before they come forward with the charges. And a lot of times it after someone becomes famous. Yes what happened is horrible.
It can take DECADES for a woman (or man) to come to grips with the trauma that was visited upon them. I've known families who brush the "dirty old man's" actions into the closet, thus invalidating the victim's ordeal and allowing the perp to continue his/her evil ways. Sometimes coming forward costs more than the victim can bear. Like losing your whole family for exposing the s3x abuser.. Another thought I have is if whomever was told about the abuse and nothing happened, why would it be different now? I spoke to a counselor friend of mine decades ago and his take was that more than half of women had been SA at some point in their lives.
As someone who went through improper touching from my step dad when i was only 9, i say this. I'm pretty positive that this is for GOD TO JUDGE. NOT US! The comments i see here are disheartening. Christians bashing but any other day preaching forgiveness. So now for my comment here, you can go right ahead and bash me. Its ok, because i know deep in my soul that only ONE was perfect, without sin and free to cast a stone, yet he did not. Jesus Christ, my Saviour and King. ❤
When Christians say that “Jesus loves you and that there is no sin you cannot be forgiven for” They need to qualify that with “Jesus will forgive you, but we won’t”
THANK YOU PASTOR MORRIS FOR YOU'RE COURAGE TO CONFESS AND REPENT... THERE IS NO EXPIRATION DATE ON GOD'S FORGIVENESS... NOW GO AND SIN NO MORE IN CHRIST NAME AMEN.
@tish53 SOMETIMES WE OPERATE IN FEAR... IT STILL DON'T MAKE US A BAD PERSON... REMEMBER IT ALL STARTED IN THE GARDEN... WE ARE NOT PERFECT JUST HUMAN AND WE FALL SHORT... NO MATTER HOW LONG AND WHAT THE SIN WAS... WHEN WE CONFESS AND TRULY REPENT WE DO RECEIVE FORGIVENESS FROM OUR LORD AND THE BLOOD CLEANSES US.
Yes but is he qualified to continue being a shepherd after such a heinous crime? The Lord's requirements for leadership are stricter than for the congregation. And what has he done to help restore his victim?
What he did is a crime. This needs to be reported to the police. Texas changed the law in 2019 that this kind of crime has a statute of limitations of 30 years after the child’s 18th birthday. It’s still punishable. The church leaders that protected him committed a crime too.
This is not something that the church handles alone. This is a matter of getting police involved, but the parents knew also, now this woman has to live with it.
There is a shaking going on in the Body of Christ. Peter said, "Judgment must begin at the house of God...the righteous shall scarcely be saved" (1 Peter 4: 17,18). Peter is telling us that the "Church" is going to be judged. And that the "Church" is in trouble." God is a forgiving God. But there are consequences to our sins. Study the life of David.
Whether it happened as she says or not, why did it take so long for her to come forward, sorry but these women who "come forward" over 30 or 40 years later is very suspect.. As soon as you become an adult open your mouth, why wait 3+ decades?? Just saying..
It is not suspect at all. If you would educate yourself at all, this is what victims do. It is extremely humiliating and difficult to talk about at all, and usually you are believed. Her response is completely normal. Don't believe me? Look it up. There is SCIENCE on this stuff. Speaking of which, we have data that tells us there is a 95% chance her story is correct.
Boys in their early 20s might legally be adults but might not fully understand what is legal or appropriate. As a married man though there should be no confusion.

If he truly repented, and only God knows the heart, then he is not a rapist. God does not define us by our past sins if we truly repent. The only sin that can't be forgiven is the rejection of Jesus. Without the blood of Jesus there is no forgiveness.

@@cruelcarp5516 I’m truly sorry to hear about your difficult experiences. Forgiveness, especially in the context of your father, can be a very challenging and personal topic. Different faiths and philosophies offer various perspectives on forgiveness and love. In many teachings, forgiveness is seen as a virtue that can lead to healing and peace. It’s often not about condoning the actions or forgetting the harm done, but rather about freeing oneself from the burden of anger and resentment. The concept of divine forgiveness is typically unconditional and separate from human justice; it’s about the possibility of transformation and redemption. Also, I pray you are seeking help and setting boundaries are also acts of self-love and self-respect. If you’re struggling with these feelings, it might be helpful to speak with a trusted spiritual leader, counselor, or therapist who can offer guidance tailored to you. Please take care of yourself, and remember that it’s okay to seek support from others during tough times. Your feelings are valid, and you deserve to be treated with kindness and respect. ❤
We are all sinners saved by grace. The Apostle Paul hunted down Christians and had them killed. God forgave him and he became one of the Greatest Apostles who suffered for Christ.
If he repents and never does the act again, then God himself doesn't hold it against him. The only person who wants to hold sins against that we did 40 years ago is Satan. If he broke law, the State may not forgive him, but God does. He may have to go to jail, but God doesn't hold the sin against him if he has repented and placed his faith in Jesus.

Adults with children, please be very wary of adults in power. No matter what, do not grant them access to your children. Also, teach your children not to idolize any adults. You see how easy it is for him to be covered? You see how he pretend that it’s a “young lady” when in fact it was only a little girl who he defiled for five years. Religious men are especially creepy and dangerous. Other people cover for them very well.
He should have NEVER been allowed to remain on staff in any capacity or into a pulpit to preach. He should have repented and turned himself into the police. James Robison should be held accountable as well for what is a huge cover up.
Senior Pastor, Robert Morris of Gateway Church, and spiritual adviser to Donald Trump, admitted to "inappropriate" behavior with a "young lady." 12 years old child.
Her story is bringing about hate and retaliation…not forgiveness. Her story goes on and grows bigger. What happened to her 35 years ago was wrong but what she is doing now is worse.
What he did was awful but it should have been handled 35 years ago. Her parents failed in not pressing charges. (But you have to ask why all of a sudden is Cindy coming out with this)
Not true. What if she were your daughter or sister and decided to tell what happened 35 years later? Victims often live in fear of retaliation and fear that nobody will believe them 😢
She reported it in 2005 - after years of therapy. It has been known for decades, but covered up by everyone. They even tried to bribe her into silence with an NDA and payment. This isn't new.

God never gave any Christian the choice to sit on their ass and do nothing. In fact in multiple places in the Bible he calls Cowards out and declares that they will spend eternity in the lake of fire.
And so does this nation's laws by decreeing that it is a felony not to report a felony. Regardless of whether the crime was committed against your child or someone else's. If God can forgive it, so should we.
Why now? Forgive him. You are the prisoner of unforgiveness.

Lot's of adults make mistakes, just not with a 12 year old child. That's not a "mistake" that is a crime. Those with power often become a law unto themselves that know no bounds.
If Pastor Morris isn't forgiven neither is anyone else.
God is starting to expose a lot in his church…
why was God hiding it all this time?
@@MikeC2K10God wasn’t hiding it; they were hiding it; God is just bringing everything to light. These things are starting to happen because the Book of Revelations is starting to be fulfilled, aka the return of Jesus approaching. God is not tolerating wickedness in his churches at this hour, especially from priests or preachers who are supposed to lead and teach the masses.
Also, God does everything on His own accord. We may not understand sometimes, but we must understand that God is sovereign in all his ways and actions.

The church values saving face over the well-being of the children of their own members. Thought we'd established that years ago.
For all of the "Christians" here that have not sinned, keep casting the stones. One day, some "Christian" might do the same to you. Bless you Pastor Robert Morris. Thank you for your amazing sermons that brought my grand daughter to faith in Jesus Christ. May God's great love, grace and mercy carry you through your current tribulation.

As Jesus said, let those without Sin, Cast the first stone...
All these naive people say "look at all the amazing good Morris has done in these past 35 years."
And I say "look at how Satan is yet again using Robert Morris's sin today destroying faith in God, dividing His people, and dividing His church from society as a whole. Doing much more destruction than Robert Morris ever did good."
THIS is a win for the cunningness of Lucifer. If Robert Morris had kept his dick in his pants OVER THE 4 - COUNT THEM - 4 YEARS that he continued to rape this child, then this would be a win for God. Robert Morris's depravity lost this win for God and made it a win for Satan.

This is why there should never be a statute of limitations on sexual assault.
In Texas Some sex crimes against children have no statute of limitations for state prosecution. These crimes include sexual assault against a child and indecency with a child.

What is M.
"What Is The Statute Of Limitations For Sexual Abuse Lawsuits? {in Texas}
The statute of limitations for sexual abuse lawsuits in Texas has been modified.
That’s over 5 years…. Look for more victims.

It can take DECADES for a woman (or man) to come to grips with the trauma that was visited upon them.
Thank you for your testimony. God bless you!

Why do they wait til years later when all people see now is the age of the person and not the young irresponsible person then. It is 35 years later 😮

Have you righteous people ever got drunk & forgot what you did? Or suffered any memory loss from drug use.

What about an abortion ever had one of those?
Have you considered that a 12 year old can consent to sex without understanding what she is doing?
Have you considered that she has confused vaginal intercourse with heavy petting?

He's been to counseling for years. Who's to say he didn't disclose this to his counselors? Who's to say he truly didn't repent? His behavior stopped. He sinned no more.
@@dayair1 sadly, you have a point.
God Bless you ! Thank you!
@@CalynnA exactly!!
What about the other two men she had in her bed as a child?
He needs to resign - I wonder if more children will come forward
God save us from perverted pastors. There seems to be so many of them.
God is the judge of us all including the lady. Forgive and move on.
Monsters hide behind many masks he new for decades what he did to a child and was married in her parents house hold I don’t care what that congregation say and how many classes he took he is a RAPIST still to this day he have destroyed a child incense I am so glad they got that predator and pray that God heals the lady that came forward and may God be with her and protect her 🙏🙏🙏🙏
If he truly repented, and only God knows the heart, then he is not a rapist. God does not define us by our past sins if we truly repent. The only sin that can't be forgiven is the rejection of Jesus. Without the blood of Jesus there is no forgiveness.
no purity calling girl flirtatious slandering innocent child and not calling it all his own sin crime and wanting NDA and not giving $$$$$$$ for alot alot of counseling
He was forgiven? Does that mean everyone involved is suddenly okay with it?
I don't understand how a person can have the Holy Spirit and molest a child for 4.5 years. And then hide it.
He’s likely been forgiven. However, it doesn’t mean the consequences aren’t going away
@@AndrewChedid how can someone be forgiven if they cant make restitution ? My dad spent my youth drunk. Things happen to me and my siblings because of his alcoholism that effect us 40 some year later. He destroyed our lives yet he is allowed to have the burden of guilt "wiped away by the blood of christ" and enjoy forgiveness while his children continue to suffer from the effects of his actions. How is this loving?
Yes! Speak with a spiritual leader😂😂😂😂that would be first on my list. AH.
We are all sinners saved by grace. The Apostle Paul hunted down Christians and had them killed. God forgave him and he became one of the Greatest Apostles who suffered for Christ.
His son? Keeping the millions of dollars in the family. Nice
My Q is why did this woman wait sooooo long to report this???
She reported it in 2005 also but they tried to get her to sign a NDA…research. Don’t think like a cultist. Think like a Christian. Follow “HIM!”
It is not just adultery but child molestation! He should never be able to lead in a church as well as never being allowed near young females!
He should have NEVER been allowed to remain on staff in any capacity or into a pulpit to preach. He should have repented and turned himself into the police. James Robison should be held accountable as well for what is a huge cover up.
And who knows how many more kids he has damage. Remember you can get away from human justice but not with Divine justice
She was a twelve year old child when it happened
Jesus. When will these types of men in the church be stopped.
. . . . . and women in the churches. It is not only the men in the churches committing these crimes.
Senior Pastor, Robert Morris of Gateway Church, and spiritual adviser to Donald Trump, admitted to "inappropriate" behavior with a "young lady." 12 years old child.
Paula White is Trump's Spiritual Advisor, at least she WAS !
No he wasn’t. So you a Biden supporter did you know his daughter wrote about Biden taken baths with her. So Biden gets a free pass.
@@DvonCarr try google.
@@kellynorvell5714 AGREE 💯
You don't have to ask that if you listened to her interview in this video.
Everyone, especially the victim, needs to move on. Jesus Christ forgives him and unless you all want to be judged in the same manner as Jesus says you will if you judge you might wanna forgive the man and all of us,including myself, just move on and we all mind our own business.Listening to the victim of this speak I can assure you all that she moved on and is just fine today, smh😊.
There's never just one child...
I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or apparel. Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me. I have shewed you all things, how that so laboring YOU OUGHT to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive. - Paul the apostle to the church leaders, Acts 20:33ff.
This tragedy is very complex.Cindy tried to tell, remember she was 12 yrs old..can you imagine the shame and horrir she felt as a victim..after no one wanted to hear the truth can you blame her. The good thing is she finally got some one to listen..Cindy is the victim, a child, he is the perpetrator of this tragedy.
