Hey, I am back again. After watching some of your videos, I was able to get a 33 on this practice test section for English today (yesterday i got a 27 on June F12). I take the ACT this Saturday and I wanted to improve my English as it has never been my strength and you have helped me tremendously.
@@ivytutoring Hey man! I felt so confident during the english section today! I predict it will be my highest score. I used your “bread and butter” tips and then for the prompt questions i used the Simon Says technique. Math was a little difficult but Reading and Science were alright!! Thank you so much for making these videos!!
I got an ACT in two days, and I really prefer the way you teach over anything I've seen yet. My English section was quite rough in the last two tangos I had with the ACT, but I think your videos are seriously going to boost me big time. Thank you!
Hi, all of our students get access. Just drop a link on the website if you would like more resources and I'll give you a discount. ivytutoring.net happy studying!
J says that "and nearby prairies" is an appositive/unnecesary information. But in the context of the sentence, that portion is needed. Also, the sentence message is trying to convey that the construction of levees blocked runoff of the rivers and additionally, prairies and forests were cleared. Hopefully that made sense
Try replacing whom with him and it wont make sense, then try replacing who with he and it will make sense. Maybe that's an easier way of thinking about it.
@@rivercityworkshops7547 Thanks, and no I just record with my students. If you ever would like a discounted rate on Harvard tutors definitely feel free to reach out www.ivytutoring.net/free-call
sure thing bobbading, I'll be posting more videos in the future. Most of the videos on this channel are tailored toward my students, but I will be making more in the future that are more in-depth for all viewers.

For question 36, why is the answer G and not J?
I was thinking the same thing

Shouldnt 21 be whom since the object is the president
If u replaced whom with him it still wouldn’t make sense

This clip helps me remember that WHO is for when its the subject and WHOM when it's the object
@@jackywacky3798 This is a great way to think about it! Gold star for you my friend

How do you make these videos and record and mark?
I use zoom for the recording
Do you record the audio separately? They are great videos!
