Thank you for watching. I misspoke regarding the hose clamp removal tool. It was purchased from Amazon and here is the link: www.amazon.com/Flexible-Clamp-Pliers-Locking-Water/dp/B07C3LYZM7/ref=asc_df_B07C3LYZM7?tag=bingshoppinga-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=80126965543780&hvnetw=o&hvqmt=e&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4583726542704869&psc=1

Definitely makes a difference. It sounds better inside and out with the VCM. I was coming home late one night from work in the G8 after installing mine. I was at a red light with no other traffic around. I had traction control on and decided to hammer down when the light turned green. First and only time I have ever launched it from a stand still. The tires didn't screech at all, and I kid you not that the car sounded supercharged as I launched forward through the intersection and then casually let off the gas. I had to get that confession off my chest. lol. I've actually never driven it hard. I'm a good driver, and it's actually my wife's car. The gentlemen I bought it from told me to be careful. It'll get sideways on you.
Yes, it does make such a difference in sound, performance, and looks. Thanks for commenting and keep enjoying your ride!!
Does look better, very nice.
Thank you!!
The vcm otr your using is missing the oval neck metal surround bracket inside the otr mine has it, it let's you tighten the oval rubber boot to the otr as much as you like
Thank you for letting me know. I haven't had any problems with it the way it is.
Great video, sounds great and looks very clean! Post a link for that specialty tool from Harbor Freight if you get a chance. What’s the next project?
Thanks! Will do! Next video will be a review of my 2001 Camaro SS. Stay tuned!
Nice, helpful video. I'm just curious if you have any issues with water getting in the intake while driving in heavy rain or car washes. OTR's look fantastic in these cars!
Thanks! So far I haven't driven it in any rain and I always wash it at home. No intrusion using a pressure washer. I agree the look freshens up the engine bay and still looks factory.
it sure looks way cleaner
I agree! Thank you for watching!
Hey quick question I was looking all over for that awesome Holden plaque you have in your engine bay! Where did you end up finding it?! Is is custom made from a 3rd party thanks for the help!
Thanks for the comment. I am the second owner. The original owner installed that custom made plaque. However you can go through Chris Frech in the Facebook group Chevy SS Owners to order one. It really stands out when you open the hood. I hope this helps you.
@@todaywithbk Thanks again for the help! Amazing ride!!
Where did you purchase your cold air injection kit from ?
