That's true, but it would probably be the lowest tier of skins in the game like blues and purples, and most likely won't include a knife. The thing that people overlook the most about this argument is that you need a (trusted) third party service to be able to sell your skins to get your money back. Valve does not have way to let you sell your skins to get back real money. Selling on the steam market will only give you (non refundable) steam credits and not real money (and takes away 5% of it). At the end of the day, CS is a video game and the skins are an in-game commodity. It won't happen until 10/20/30 years from now, but eventually we will see an end to the online services of counter strike, and all those skins will one day vanish. Not everyone will be able to get their money back.

@kaydenutley8170 Well, the awp is literally the most iconic gun in cs. Did you not see the chart in the video? Almost all of the notable guns in cs have a similar gun in Val. Vandal 1 shot hs ghost 1shot hs, deagle/sheriff awp/op marshall/ssg, odin/ares m249/negev. When I go from one game to the other, I literally play nearly the exact same. The only difference is using abilities vs. utility. I enjoy both games, but the similarities are definitely there, and it's not just the guns. Competition is not a bad thing. Without Valorant, CS2 may never have happened because of the pressure that put on valve to bring cs to the next level. While cs2 isn't in a great spot, I do think it will become just as good as GO if not better, at the pace they are going it will just take some time to work out the kinks.

CS. anyone can play any role. and if you are not doing good, lets say map smokes or doin entry. you can switch and have someone else pick up that slack or vice versa. and things like flashes, smokes & frags are NOT tied to a certain character/operator An up side to Valorant in this kind of situation tho is, you can use ALL guns on either side. so if you are good with (imma use gun real names) good with the M4 & not AK you dont have to worry about losing the M4 on side flip. or vice versa.
That's what makes them different tho.. also it's not a flaw In Valorant you have to at least know how to play either the 3 roles or all of it and just experience what the agent you chose really does just by playing it (you can also test it in the practice range), they also do that in their other game "League of Legends", you have to play that agent with that role for the whole match (which I can see why people don't like that), and that's the point, you can focus better on that role for that match, I don't think it's a flaw. It's almost like the game is telling you to be a well rounded player and give more importance in your survivability because the game is all about teamwork after all and you need to be alive. But there are players who just don't give a fuck and will play their agent no matter what, which sucks but thats community for you. While in CS, yes anyone can play any roles which gives the player more "freedom" or something, which technically its easier to clutch in CS than Valorant, it also means you can technically solo a 5v5 game and win, you can be all the roles: aggressive, lineups, flank checking but its still less consistent teamwork unlike Valorant. When solo queuing, all your teammates can sometimes be just that one role, anyone can be any roles after all (this is may not be true in higher elos tho). they're both fun to play tbh, its just the community sometimes..

I personally find it good, that you can't kick people from your team in Valorant. I often got kicked by some teenage russian dudes in CS, just because for being a female. That ruined all the fun for me, i even got too afraid to speak completely in CS matches because of that. They can mute me, doesnt bother me. But getting kicked when i just wanna play the game is so annoying
The main reason valorant doesnt have boosting is so characters like omen or jett have more value on defense with off angles in higher spots that arent common are possible for other agents
We don't reallt hate val, we hate their community mostly We CS players were among the very first players of Valorant and we made the game first days actually playable and made the ranks make sense. Some of us left, some others stood for a little longer and some others still play Valorant today. It was all good, we were happy to see a competitor for CS and we were hyped to see what it brings, after all, competition tends to always benefit the players. Problem began when new players to the genre stepped in on Valorant and developed themselves on Valorant. At those times, CS was undoubtedly better, harder, more demanding and betrer shaped than Valorant, and we CS players helped with a lot of feedback to the old CS developers themselves. And what for? Well, if you said anything about Valorant from your CS humble perspective, you would get swarmed by a hateful Valorant community towards CS, because apparently the new players that started on the genre on Valorant didn't like to acknowledge their game's flaws and how CSGO was still the better game. Valorant's own community made it taboo to talk about CS. "Oh, the cs meat rider", "Go spend thousands", whatever bs they could come up with just to argue with CS players. So at the end, instead of having a good relationship withing both communities, so much hate has resulted on continuous hate to this day. Just take a look at your comment. This video genuinely says nothing bad about Valorant, there's no hate yet you come here to say we somehow make hating on Valorant our own personality. CS has had solid hit reg for years now. Even better with CS2, just some early hitbox issues at release. Bullets go where they're supposed to go, people just aren't happy with where they're supposed to go.

How much does aim matter when: a Sova/brim ults you off bomb from across the map? Or when a Viper is using lineups from a corner inside her ult? Or while you're blinded by a popflash? These are the most extreme examples but it's just to show that when advantage can be created through good ability/utility usage it makes pure aiming skill a less significant factor for that fight.
@@marcol6268 I think the mistake you're making is that you're failing to look at both sides. If you're in a 1v3 it usually takes some rly clean aim to come back since you're at a disadvantage but what about from the other side? As the 3 man you can pretty much just swing together and you'll usually win even if your aim isn't great. So the aim matters but the player advantage also matters a lot, so the aim is less important overall.
U can boost like that in valorant. However, most people won't help u at that unless they r in their nicest possible mood. Also, some box doesnt need someone to boost yourself due to some pixel or hitbox difference.
I've always called the AWP, OP... because it's braindead easy to use. But ever since Valorant, I too, get flamed for it. But just gotta stand your ground, and they'll come around.
You cant kick, but you can report for toxicity or being annoying and they will get a penalty if reported from multiple people from different matches. Thats why it works

It's almost like the game is telling you to be a well rounded player and give more importance in your survivability because the game is all about teamwork after all and you need to be alive. But there are players who just don't give a fuck and will play their agent no matter what, which sucks but thats community for you.
While in CS, yes anyone can play any roles which gives the player more "freedom" or something, which technically its easier to clutch in CS than Valorant, it also means you can technically solo a 5v5 game and win, you can be all the roles: aggressive, lineups, flank checking but its still less consistent teamwork unlike Valorant. When solo queuing, all your teammates can sometimes be just that one role, anyone can be any roles after all (this is may not be true in higher elos tho).
they're both fun to play tbh, its just the community sometimes..

I personally find it good, that you can't kick people from your team in Valorant. I often got kicked by some teenage russian dudes in CS, just because for being a female. That ruined all the fun for me, i even got too afraid to speak completely in CS matches because of that. They can mute me, doesnt bother me. But getting kicked when i just wanna play the game is so annoying

We CS players were among the very first players of Valorant and we made the game first days actually playable and made the ranks make sense. Some of us left, some others stood for a little longer and some others still play Valorant today. It was all good, we were happy to see a competitor for CS and we were hyped to see what it brings, after all, competition tends to always benefit the players.
Problem began when new players to the genre stepped in on Valorant and developed themselves on Valorant.
At those times, CS was undoubtedly better, harder, more demanding and betrer shaped than Valorant, and we CS players helped with a lot of feedback to the old CS developers themselves.
And what for? Well, if you said anything about Valorant from your CS humble perspective, you would get swarmed by a hateful Valorant community towards CS, because apparently the new players that started on the genre on Valorant didn't like to acknowledge their game's flaws and how CSGO was still the better game. Valorant's own community made it taboo to talk about CS. "Oh, the cs meat rider", "Go spend thousands", whatever bs they could come up with just to argue with CS players.
So at the end, instead of having a good relationship withing both communities, so much hate has resulted on continuous hate to this day.
Just take a look at your comment. This video genuinely says nothing bad about Valorant, there's no hate yet you come here to say we somehow make hating on Valorant our own personality. Every single video of a CS players reacting to anything thar involves Valorant, this comment appears for no reason at all
For me, it looks like CS players live rent free on Valorant's players head, because its always you guys who bring these bs comments instead of enjoying ourselves together

CS has had solid hit reg for years now. Even better with CS2, just some early hitbox issues at release. Bullets go where they're supposed to go, people just aren't happy with where they're supposed to go.
@pelpadesa Nah man, when I play an FPS Its a given my bullets should land on my crosshair, CS and Val shooting legit rewards missing, and bad crosshair adjustment, it's less egregious in Valorant but it still exists.
I remember watching CS videos for years, and when I finally got my hands on it with some of my friends we were very turned off because we were being punished for aiming like literally every other FPS in existence (Aiming on player = Bullets landing on player) . Both games are shit

In normal games weaknesses in aim can be covered for by using utility well, positioning well, and playing off teammates, whereas in the example game all that matters is your pre-aim, the tightness of your peaks, reaction time, aim. Extreme example but yknow

@@marcol6268 depends on the abilities but generally aim will be less important (assuming they use the util effectively). Let me ask a few questions to illustrate this. How much does aim matter when: a Sova/brim ults you off bomb from across the map? Or when a Viper is using lineups from a corner inside her ult? Or while you're blinded by a popflash? These are the most extreme examples but it's just to show that when advantage can be created through good ability/utility usage it makes pure aiming skill a less significant factor for that fight.
@@marcol6268 I think the mistake you're making is that you're failing to look at both sides. If you're in a 1v3 it usually takes some rly clean aim to come back since you're at a disadvantage but what about from the other side? As the 3 man you can pretty much just swing together and you'll usually win even if your aim isn't great. So the aim matters but the player advantage also matters a lot, so the aim is less important overall.
U can boost like that in valorant. However, most people won't help u at that unless they r in their nicest possible mood. Also, some box doesnt need someone to boost yourself due to some pixel or hitbox difference.
When I started playing valorant I was saying AWP instead of OP, but now that I came back to CS I've getting roasted for saying OP instead of AWP
