Developers' job is to make the game balanced and, while it can be difficult to keep it that way, right now it's so unbalanced you have a completely different experience playing even with only one of those 5 broken classes in your group. Even if you're not puggin you feel like you're doing something wrong and making your life harder for no reason when you don't play those comps.

Now specs will be balanced based on scaling with augmentation evoker. All specs that work well with them will be nerfed into the ground until they suck when not running with one. Great idea, PI didn't show us all this would be a problem😂
Even with Mage getting nerfed, its 5% Int buff still has a lot of value, because essentially 4 members of the party are benifitting from having booseted Int stat (HPally, SPriest, AuEvoker, Mage itself). I think this meta is locked until S3 unless Blizzard nerf all those specs very hard, and i think that would also anger many people.
Gonna be honest Mad. Augmentation is really fun to play and Hpal is too (Hpal main since S1), but balance was kind of healthy before 10.1.5 and now everything got messed up. However, I do understand the frustration from other dps players, Avoker really brings a lot of problems to the table, specially since its difficult to tell if dps are good/Avoker is good with current tools, and there are just better classes that ramp with Avoker like fire mage for example or Spriest. Avoker also prob ruins the chance to bring prevoker or devastation to groups because of how good it is Spriest, Fire Mage are heavily dominant as dps, and the mage nerf wont change that. Tank balance is weird atm ( Prot pally is as strong as ever, even with the little mana nerf as it shouldnt impact anything in PvE at least), but is not taken due to lower damage? Hpal meta? Bot entirely sure. Prot War is considered F tier but the one in my guild is insane in m+n idk why is there anyone playing them in high end content (please elaborate if you know). Maybe BDK, Brew and War needs some tuning. Hpal is currently the strongest healer by a good margin, and it should get nerfed soon. I'm hpal main, and we became public enemy number 1 overnight, 90% of healers you see in m+ are now hpals and everyone is gearing one. We can get nerfed around 10% of raw healing and we would still be s tier for raid and m+ due to insane amount of utiliy. Other than that, I'm happy they addressed the class and added pretty much everything we ever dreamed of (additional active DR, stronger base kit outside of cds like wings/AC even tho they ruined virtue my favorite healing ability, proper mana management, active dps being worth to use, smoother rotation, etc). Right now MW needs a little push and probably a reason to bring them (no brez, no lust, no PI or MD for example), Hpriest in m+ needs help, Shaman in raid, and that should be it tbh.
It's that terrible I actually unsubbed. I can deal with blizzard being idiots most of this expansion with balance because at least they were trying to get things equal but at this point it's obvious they're either inept or don't care.
2950io fury warrior here Joining m+ pugs was already hard enough with the retri/boomkin/sp meta but now it is statistically impossible to join any group unless you have friends that are willing to take you along. Why would anyone want any team build other than fire mage/sp/aug? Why would anyone need a hunter, a rogue, a warrior or a shaman when these classes can't even compare to what the new meta does. Literally 3 days after 10.1.5 hit, all the top 300 M+ runs (worldwide) have been replaced with sp/aug/mage and dozens of keys have now been pushed from +27 to +29 Blizzard never ceases to amaze me with how quickly they can screw up their game with one simple patch. Hotfix patch to nerf this dogs*** spec ASAP
Breaking the m+ meta like this mid-season is frustrating, because of time and gold invested in gearing toons made irrelevant by 10.1.5. Sunk a lot of gold into gearing my warlock, which is now gonna be benched for rest of season. Where do we apply for refunds?
So the old Blizzard saying "Bring the player, not the class" is out of the window. Then now they can do the same for other classes like it was in the previous expansions. I'm sure a lot of classes will be left out even more since the introduction of the Augmentation spec...
They make life in pug mythic plus quite nice. My mage, resto sham, holy priest, resto druid, holy pally love this support class. When someone misses a kick my god the shield is so nice.
I think a lot of the choice of which healer to bring into the meta comp is more dependent on how powerful other specializations for that healer are. EX: Augmentation + Guardian druid + Shadow Priest. Because of their strengths, this kind of de-incentives bringing a Preservation, Restoration Druid, or Holy/Disc Priest, because the individual utility of that class is already being brought. Healers more often now are not competing with other healers for the "Meta slot" but competing with their other specializations. If boomy/Guardian is good, why bring a Rdruid? If Augmentaion/Devastation are good, why bring preservation? Not to mention... holy paladin is insanely strong right now, and its other specializations aren't as competitive. (Though prot paladin and ret paladin are in good places... they just aren't as strong as holy and arn't as strong as the other competitors in DPS/Tank positions)
Feelsbad that Blizz would f* up Mythic+ just for Augmentation’s sake. I mean, we all knew that Aug would be OP from the start, but making healers bad so that Aug is practically mandatory isn't great for the game overall.
@@stevo6178 You recognize you are less that 1% of the player base right? So you’re able to push to +30 in a season. Why is that an issue? Mythic+ players are elitist, which is fine, good ones earn that. However, there is nothing wrong with making teen/low-20 keys easier for the rest of the player base. Healthier M+ community is better for overall game health imo.
The whole shtick of m+ is that it scales infinitely, hitting the cap 2 levels higher does nothing in the grand scheme of things. And keys did not get any easier, it got easier if you play the 5 meta specs. Try running a key with a ww, feral, holy priest, mm hunter and a brewmaster. It's just as difficult as two days ago, the keys didn't change, only a broken comp has been introduced
Personally, I think it is just blizzard being short sighted as always. From my perspective, the game is currenly experiencing the slowdown - most people already doing mid / high level M+ keys or heroic / mythic raiding. By the end of the summer - we will have a massive drop in players as people will achieve their goals and move on. We are already seeing the signs of it. The only thing that can help is major patch but this is in mid fall. So you would think that blizzard would concentrate on making all the classes / spec really strong and encourage people to play alts. But no - Blizzard just made the meta super stale with certain classes are so much better that there is no reason to play something else. I am happy that my subscribtion is expiring - at least there is no reason to subscribe until next major patch so will save some money.
Holy paladin is disgustingly OP compared to other healers. They have zero weaknesses compared to other healers. They have more damage, more tankyness, more spot healing, more group healing, more burst healing, more utility etc... Holy paladin is just insultingly OP
If you're playing very high end content it's always this way. There's always a "top" tank that people don't stray far from. It was warriors in S1 and prot pallies after their buffs.
I understand the HPS Diference of Hpala....but the reword was amazing! All the sinergies are perfect! Nerf the HPS and nothing more....the playstyle is just amazing

No, its because of the Gameplay of the spec...on pala its the same....glimmer giving a DR, spread glimmer, the One cruzader strike giving 2 holy powers, the judgment giving holy power and triggering wings with aeakening, the daybreak talent and tyr sinergy with the 2 holy light instant Cast talent....you can Nerf holy pala HPS in 50% i would still play it 🤷🤦🏻
The only problem I see is a meta being driven by the top .01% of completed dungeons. Any class played to its max should be able to complete 20s. Everything else beyond that is just icing on the cake and should never warrant a change to core elements just for the sake of appearing balanced at the very tip top of the M+.
Not just icing on the cake - the goal of m+ is to max your IO much as possible over the season. The more IO, the better your season was. There is a huge amount of players between +20's and the season title holders who do just that.
Thats just not how video games work though, people don't say "I'm only in the top 10% of players, not the top 0.01%, so I guess I'll just play a B-tier class that'll make it even more challenging to advance past this point" "Any class played to its max should be able to complete 20s" This is pretty fucking bad if the highest timed key is over +30 LOL
Are you a top .1% player? If so you were already doing this to keep up with meta changes. If you're not this doesn't mean much of anything to you. Any class can time keys up to lows 20s.
Hear me out, what if they made the new support role an actual extra role and you could decide to either do a 5 man dungeon or add a 6th player support?
I see the issue more with spriest than augmentation. Priest was a lock. Augmentation helping priest out made them ride the coat tails. The third slot just goes to whatever benefits most from aug/PW:I which ended up being fire. They need to address the near ubiquity of spriest. That will then address augmentation.
@@caroqt yes but just if you have good dps and a good augvoker. I depleted 2 keys because of low dmg from sp and mage. We didnt make a 24 VP because of 30s overtime
imo if a spec become a no brainer to pick and all highest of key have 1 thats a big problem and need to be address asap. saw on wowhead an unholy dk doing 13m st in raid with a raid full of aug because 1 of their ability stack😂 they have tuning to do 100% its game breaking right now
You mentioned in the beginning the best healers? As in plural. There's no plural here. It's damn near impossible to get into groups if you're not holy pala. I'm a nearly 3k rated resto druid and I need 23s to get 3k but I can't get into any groups. I got all keys timed on 22 both tyran and fort and no one is taking me. Hpal is broke as shit and never before have I seen so many groups queued with (in addition to the keystone level) the specific specs they want in the title. Always Aug and Hpal in the title. This meta is broken as hell and as much as I love augmentation as a spec, it's lowkey ruined M+😂
I think aug was a horrible idea, because now blizz is now probably going to over nerf classes that perform well with it. So without an aug evoker it will feel like garbage. There will be less slots for specs on raid teams because having multiple aug evokers will now be mandatory, its getting more and more that you can't play what you want - you need to play the meta or what is strong
This is not just for higher Mythic+... Augvoker have completely killed many other classes. I play Ret Paladin... i like the playstyle of it... But it is 99% impossible to even get into shitty 16+ keys.... and i have 439 gear and 2.2 k rating. WoW is complately pointless to play now... UNLESS... you play: Holy Paladin... Guardian Druid... Fire mage... Shadow Priest...Augvoker. Augvokers does not even have to be a good player... they just need to keep the buffs going, and they get invited to everything, no matter gear.
imagine mistweaver monk in m+ since 6 years. I gave up on the class. It's either play the shiny new reworked spec or see you next season, because for sure you wont get any invites, and devs give zero fucks about less popular classes

Well... I warned everyone months in advance that Aug would be a problem. But no... All i got is hipe and copium... As for HPal its just not fair. I detest the situation where from one patch to the next i get 0 invites. And i play 3100 rio RShaman... Tried HPal and they are literally designed for the damage profile. Instant heals, nothing casted, 30k passive healing... Plus utility... Its crazy. Very dissapointed in blizz. Im unsubing. Whats the point of playing?
I mostly pug m+ (20 - 21) and have 3 healers, none of those is a paladin, i think i will be forced to either reroll or not renew my subscription at all. ps. Mistweaver is completly unplayable, no one joins my key and no one accepts me.
Community perception is a bitch in wow. I'm main holy paladin. Holy paladin before rework was already S tier, but in the beggining of season 2 and all season 1 it was considered B tier or A tier at most. Back then I knew hpal was strong, to me it was already S tier and I played all healers as alts in S1 and always came back to paladin. I knew all could heal any keys without issues, same with MW at least until 20 range where I didnt play MW as much, but got declined and declined many times on my paladin in favor of evoker and druid. People in keys really need to chill out, meta only matter in keys in the 24-30 range. If theres an aspect of wow I hate, its the pug community

So i think developers are a big part of the problem too.

About as bad as it gets. Early to say but Aug is pretty disastrous. And balance has not been worse this xpac

I was with my Rshaman and Guardian/Aug/SP/Fmage in group and we blasted my 24 Uldaman without any problems

@@caroqt yes but just if you have good dps and a good augvoker. I depleted 2 keys because of low dmg from sp and mage. We didnt make a 24 VP because of 30s overtime
imo if a spec become a no brainer to pick and all highest of key have 1 thats a big problem and need to be address asap.

You mentioned in the beginning the best healers? As in plural. There's no plural here. It's damn near impossible to get into groups if you're not holy pala. I'm a nearly 3k rated resto druid and I need 23s to get 3k but I can't get into any groups. I got all keys timed on 22 both tyran and fort and no one is taking me. Hpal is broke as shit and never before have I seen so many groups queued with (in addition to the keystone level) the specific specs they want in the title. Always Aug and Hpal in the title. This meta is broken as hell and as much as I love augmentation as a spec, it's lowkey ruined M+😂

I think aug was a horrible idea, because now blizz is now probably going to over nerf classes that perform well with it. So without an aug evoker it will feel like garbage. There will be less slots for specs on raid teams because having multiple aug evokers will now be mandatory, its getting more and more that you can't play what you want - you need to play the meta or what is strong

This is not just for higher Mythic+... Augvoker have completely killed many other classes.
I play Ret Paladin... i like the playstyle of it... But it is 99% impossible to even get into shitty 16+ keys.... and i have 439 gear and 2.2 k rating.
WoW is complately pointless to play now... UNLESS... you play: Holy Paladin... Guardian Druid... Fire mage... Shadow Priest...Augvoker.
Augvokers does not even have to be a good player... they just need to keep the buffs going, and they get invited to everything, no matter gear.
I hope this trend goes on and they update Elemental to be a support spec as well. They are dpsing low anyway lol.

imagine mistweaver monk in m+ since 6 years. I gave up on the class. It's either play the shiny new reworked spec or see you next season, because for sure you wont get any invites, and devs give zero fucks about less popular classes

it's such a slap in the face to me that they made Tyr's Deliverance to HPal, it's literally exactly what MW would love to have for renewing mists.

Tried HPal and they are literally designed for the damage profile. Instant heals, nothing casted, 30k passive healing... Plus utility... Its crazy.

I mostly pug m+ (20 - 21) and have 3 healers, none of those is a paladin, i think i will be forced to either reroll or not renew my subscription at all.
ps. Mistweaver is completly unplayable, no one joins my key and no one accepts me.
Community perception is a bitch in wow.
I'm main holy paladin. Holy paladin before rework was already S tier, but in the beggining of season 2 and all season 1 it was considered B tier or A tier at most.
Back then I knew hpal was strong, to me it was already S tier and I played all healers as alts in S1 and always came back to paladin. I knew all could heal any keys without issues, same with MW at least until 20 range where I didnt play MW as much, but got declined and declined many times on my paladin in favor of evoker and druid.
People in keys really need to chill out, meta only matter in keys in the 24-30 range. If theres an aspect of wow I hate, its the pug community
@@Alesz15 while you might be right on community perception, they did not have any problem making already S tier classes broken level op just to be able to declare their reworks "succesful", meanwhile they are not touching monk even tho it literally cant be played. So i think developers are a big part of the problem too.
And yet there are mistweavers timing mid 20s. You're just another part of the Monk community perception.
