In this overview video we'll take an early look at all the areas in the zone, see what prizes they offer, and look into how they can be upgraded. If you unlock prestige you could do 99 waves consistently by repairing MGLs and using brutalizer.

This Vip zone isnt necessarily a bad thing, it does kind of pressure ftp players to start making some transactions (which is kinda smart from kefir on a business viewpoint) and it does give some advantages to paying players which i like, but the good thing is it doesnt stop or hinder ftp players, its like just a lil add on to people who support the game via transactions, and i like that honestly.
As a f2p hardcore grind player I think the main reason that people dislike it is the fear that this is a precedent where future zones will also be restricted to only premium users. I think its totally fine for kefir to focus on getting the money but I hope that in future they will make it a possibility for f2p players to earn their way in - e.g. by watching an x amount of mystery box ads or by fully completing the season ladder it could reward you with a one week VIP pass. But you are totally right that f2p players are not stopped/hindered - we didnt have access to that area anyway lol
Vip zone is like paid dlc of pc games where you need to pay to unlock something/many thing

I was tired for F2P-ing on the last 2 years or so and yet I haven't got tier 4 walls and floors and good gear. Then, I got tired and decided to use the modded version of the dang game. Then this got added, damn I saved my own walet.
Here's what I think. I have mixed opinions about this, and not sure this is what the game needed. It's gonna be a long comment.
For positives, some players may buy some stuff, just out of curiosity of the vip zone. Also, heavy spenders get good rewards. Overall, it doesn’t affect the f2p experience. The p2w argument is stupid, because let's be honest, this game has always been p2w, just more prevalent with this new thing.
As for negatives, since it has a 7 day duration, to retain vip status, ypu have to make at least one purchase a week. I don't think this is sustainable. And by the end of the month, there will be very few vips. The repair feature, despite being shown in game for years, is now given to p2p players, which is a scummy tactic. There are so many things yet to be added in game(tungsten,helicopter,bunker charlie etc), yet seasons and this kind of stuff are the priority for a quick cashgrab. The game is still in beta ffs.
JCF was right about their monetization being about few people spending a lot, than a lot people spending little. I'll be taking a long break once the season is over, kinda burnt out, and I don't think I'm alone in this. Not mad about this update, but the direction they are going is not for me(and also mad about not getting a single purple from the last 2 seasons).

I got prestige level in the VIP section. It is soo OP! I I cleared the farm, bunker alpha level 2 and 3 and police department back to back all with the 1 hour infinite durability weapon! You just need to clear all areas and then come back after to collect everything. But you save a ton of weapons!
Seams super boring though you have a unbreakable gun and use it to get breakable guns? What's the point of playing when you get that gun.
@@dr.despacito3711 so you don’t use and break armor and don’t use and waste weapon durability so you can use those weapons and armor you stockpiled for more important runs, or when there is a new season with tasks. And Yes you use the infinite durability weapon to get breakable guns, and then use those stronger DPS guns to do more important tasks or when its a more dangerous situation that you need more damage output
What are the boxes under the in game currency when you go to the in game store(where your item inbox is at)? I have several of this particular item but not sure how to open or use it. Not even sure what in game gold coins are for either.

Hey pressing x, whats the required level to unlock new healer buffs? Healer never offered me the increase chance to find weapons or vehicle parts, and the one that increase melee damage, these buffs are amazing, how to unlock them?
I like the vip zone, but I don't understand how to increase the amount of vip coins or whatever they are.. the things to make purchases in the black market. Besides the daily spin, is there another way to get them?
1:50 maximum reward is 1 full stack of medkit if your vip level is high
I really wish that this was retroactive , because I have spent hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of dollars on this game. Kind of pissed me off the fact that I have to spend even more just to get perks and VIP status. I've been playing this game very long time I should already be a VIP 😂😂😂😂

I have not accessed yet to VIP area. Still in level 0. I can see it needs 50 points for level 1. How much points I need for level 2 after level 1? Is it gonna be 100 extra points? How much points for level 3?

@@unprost1383 well , recently frostborn has had multiple updates in favour of players who spend money on the game and gave them a lot of (kinda unfair) advantages over free-to-play players which made the game less fun
Last day on Earth on the other hand has had a good turn of events and added new locations and items and a new companion drone , which have been liked by many players

The level progression is saved, but one purchase per week will be needed to keep all the buffs active. 😅

For sure. It's a real push to get ftp to start spending. Which....I don't necessarily think is a bad thing. I have no problem with a game incentivizing its player base to support continued development. The only time this goes sour is with mp integration where paying customers have an upper hand in pvp content, making money = power over ftp users. Single player ldoe honestly needed more value behind purchases, and I'm excited to see what the devs will do with this extra cash flow that the system creates.
Its your choice to spend money in-game I really dont have troubles with this new system tho

The level is saved, but the perks are inactive until the next top up...which could just be 1 dollar. So you'll never lose the level progression.

Hey John, thanks for checking out the vid. I don't think the devs are going to consider that. I'm excited to see how they use this extra money for the game's continued development. I think we should want heavily paying players to spend as much as they want. The extra revenue hopefully goes back into developing content that everyone can enjoy. I'm glad they didn't remove any systems for ftp, they just added benefits for paying customers.

I'm pretty low maintenance I go to work and go home and play my game so a few dollars here and there doesn't kill my bank but if you're getting things on sale plus the VIP bonuses on top of that it's amazing. I got VIP level 10 and when I spend $10 increments I get a day of super VIP which gives me the unlimited ammo gun for one hr storage. I wait till I can grab the gun and clear out all my red areas all within the hour lol

honestly annoying cause my past transactions on ldoe probably totalled to about 100-200 dollars (just guessing) that money didn’t go to waste i don’t regret spending money on ldoe but i could’ve got to a pretty good level if they counted past transactions.

Listen, im soon vip 5 and then my 6 MGL go *BRRRR* but i just wanted to say this... VIP *IS* a grind. You cant get VIP 10 overnight lmao unless you are a whale. Just buy good stuff and only buy one thing every week to keep the VIP active. Even at lvl 1 you have the wheel, the market, the food stall. Use that timer efficiently. If you can burn a bit more cash for the progress cuz u want that repair bench then sure. I did that kinda by buying season lvls for lvl 60+ crates at the end for CBRN sets. Just look out for value and DONT WORRY about the credit card if you are 18+ and got your own, right? ;) ;)

I sure wouldnt buy some shit i get little to no value unlike buying a season pass where you get the most value nowadays... 225-300 coins, 60-100 rations, atv parts, genesis guns...you get the point. Also you purchase levels at the end of the season to get to max lvl as its only 3,5$ for 5 levels cuz of sale. Just make sure your money counts man.

@@Pressingx people need a reality check. This update doesn't harm f2p players, it only helps VIP players and it's a good thing.
It's good to see permanent content, eventhough it's for VIP players, but there' a small chance f2p players can access the VIP zone if Kefir makes it a part of a season event.
I think people are just disappointed since Kefir tease the zone for YEARS.

I'm sure this is going to get people to support the game more, and I hope all the extra cash goes into more developments that everyone can enjoy. I'm pretty sure there's some big updates on the way. There was some wording in this update that has me pretty excited. 😮

I spend over 200€ in this game and I didn’t get access to the vip Zone which is bizarre. Buy something from the shop? Nope I’m kinda done with this game
The scummy part is that the vip thing runs out level 10 costs around 225 bucks and they expect you to keep spending after 225 fucking bucks
You obviasly dont know how it works, once reaching day level 10 and it expires the next purchase you make will turn on vip at the level you left it at ie in this example 10
So they really expect 1 dollar a week
