It is "basically" an oddball shape, buy its very well aquascaped. You always give me great ideas for my future tank. Although I'm not a huge guppy fan, I think some blue dragon guppies would look amazing in there with those pops of red and pink plants. I love it 😀
Plants are looking good! Will be interested in updates for this tank. I purchased a 20 gal high. Same shape as yours. I had a lot of difficulty keeping clean because of the height of the tank. I ended up taking down and I don't use it. I have learned a lot since then and probably should have used a canister filter. I would have had to modify hoses because even those aren't long enough to get all the way down to bottom. The pink plant is gorgeous. Good luck and keep us posted.
Wow, using pennywort as a floating plant is a genius move. I love this tank. I'm using the same twin star light for my upcoming UNS 25S shallow project
@@HerbScapes with a decent light I am certain it will do quite well as a floater and it will even take to wood or side of tank and grow out. Mine grow 1 or 1 inches a day!
Ooooooh Gorgeous colors! I love the quirky size!
Thank you, Jen. Talk is cool :)
@@LushSaltyAquariums I would like to see you do a whole tank with those pink plants!
@@jenpink4298 that would be something! But “Chai” is both a tricky plant and an expensive one. Let’s see how it goes with these…

Thank you, FRF! I'm not a big fan of guppies either but I know they would make a good fit here, esp smaller strains that aren't too hyper.
I like the idea of 2 different red plants together. It gives 2 different textures in 1 colour. Very nice.
That was a happy accident but I am going with it for very reason you cite!

The size definitely has challenges. Let’s see if I’m up for them! Big reason I chose it was due to limited horizontal space on the rack.

Thank you! I only use that plant as a floater. I find it grows better that way and is so easy to manipulate!
@@LushSaltyAquariums I've struggled to keep it planted in the past. I haven't used it since but I might now

@@LushSaltyAquariums i might try glueing some to the hard scape. That might be amazing
@@HerbScapes I'm not sure about using glue. However you can "train" the vines somewhat...
Hi Steffan, your tank looks beautiful. What do you use for ferts? Also do you use RODI water?
Hi there. I do not use Ro water on any of my tanks. I use an all in one fert once a week but I believe way more in good lights and Co2.
@LushSaltyAquariums Looks great. Yes, Twinstar and Chihiros are fantastic lights. They do represent well.
@@seannunes2041 Thank you. A good light perhaps most significant factor in exceptional plant growth.
anything that won't mind the bright light. don't repeat the same thing with the blue neons
Cruel be thy truth!
