Well I don't think the main building has changed much since I was there in about 1970. I went back to visit there about 5 years ago and stood in the main hall, and it was exactly the same. Where the teachers have their car park used to be a kitchen and dinner hall where we had our lunch. I hope you enjoy your time there as much as I did
I went to the Godalming Infants ' school in 1930 , my first school , Miss Greenway ( I think) was headmistress , then to the Godalming British school on Meadow in 1937 , Mr .Worthy was head , Jack Channon , " Basher Woods , two of the staff I remember and " Tiggy" Wheeler took us for woodwork in the old technical school across the road . when I started teaching , in 1947, I went on a fortnight's observation at the infant's school where I'd started school in 1930
