I see a lot of the younger producers crossing over to analog keyboards,vsts to me are great they sound good and very convient esp if your a kid living with your mom and just have a laptop,but I came up where producers where surrounded by room full of gear that made there sound not just a tag,the gear you had made your sound,you want original fatness and warmth w/o doing anything invest in some hardware and rock with both but salute to Wheezy though he killing it...Izm

jessie urena Exactly!!!Im from that world to your average listener they don’t give 2 shits about what you used lol but I can tell the difference just like I can tell the difference from how my drums sound when I used a Mpc 2000xl to a Mpc 2500 to Grarageband & Fl Studio a now Mpc Xy drums had more control coming out of the 2000xl and keyboards good grief they just sound bigger and so much fatter than a vst I prefer hardware but I use both but I just prefer hardware...

98 percent of these producers have a team of mixing engineers that they send there track-out's to. Your never going to get your beats to sound like there finished product without the professional's mixing it. Just do the best mix you can and send it out. Stop wasting hours on mixing and arrangement. There gonna change all that shit anyway. I know for a fact.
It's still good to get the knowledge to make it slap tho. Its really not hard once you keep doing it

@@Kickdrum00 well there's more to make slap than leveling the volume lol. I only keep kicks in mono and eq my 808 as well as compress it. It works for me but obviously a pro can mix it better. Lol
