I think a lot of people deliberately ignore the fact that astrology is wayyyy too general, too unspecific to be a great source regarding relationship and personalities traits. There is a lot of studies about that. It mostly has to do with something call the Barnum effect : people that tend to be invest in astrology or that are aware of their signs to the minimal will eventually have their self-concept influence way more by those extremely vague descriptions than the others. And for those that aren’t aware ? Well, again, that’s not that hard to fit in all the description. But let’s skip this conversation because this wasn’t my question. I asked why justifying your actions by astrology became a new trend and a new way to not take responsibilities for your actions and behavior ? I should have been more clear, my mistake.
