    Very nice, i have been watching the Crown Vic to Ford Truck build, you are doing a really great job, and nice to see your Son and Dad helping out, looks like you live in Utah, my Son lives in South Jordan, and we live in Washington State😁😁

    Of all the videos I've watched, you show and explain it best on how you mated the Vic firewall and floor to the truck cab. I'm planning this build, but I haven't decided on what year model of truck yet. Awesome job!

    Looks good! Watching your videos to get ideas on my 65 Vic swap. I have a completely rust free perfect cab so I won't be cutting it and using the Vic floor. Love your build man! 🤙

    Great job, both on the truck and the video! I put a 1960 f100 on a crown Vic frame, and know that wonderful feeling when the cab is first mounted on Vic frame. I've watched quite a few of videos of builds like this, and like the way you connected the Vic floor and firewall to the truck, the best. I opted to use the full truck cab, but if I saw your video before my build, I might have considered using the Vic floor and firewall. It should be a really nice truck when you're done.

    Nice work!!! Lot of ideas I had floating around in my head for the approach I was gonna take on my 66 f100 to 07 crown vic swap. Of course everyone does it slightly different, however Im enjoying your method 😃

    While I don't necessarily like using the dash, steering wheel and flooring of the donor, I must admit that it came out very nice. I'm building a '58 GMC 100, of which is being mated to a '03 S10 Ext. Cab. Like you, I'm retaining/using all of the donor vehicle's wiring to make the transition a little easier...

    Maaaannnnn that is going to be a sweet ride. I have one concern though, did you leave room to mount the radiator support on rubber bushings? Looks like you had your brackets sitting right in the frame.

      at the time i didn't think about it. mostly because i there is not much weight at all on the 65 factory front clip.

    Cut front fenders and ~~~Add adding 2 inches to front or 3 1/2 if necessary to give you the room you need without cutting it all up.Fl;at fenders pretty easyt o do!

    Its sad to see so many trucks being swapped onto a car chassis. Use a ford explorer or ranger instead, then you can actually use it as a truck when its done. lol.

    • @ford_truck_garage
      @ford_truck_garage 6 місяців тому

      The vic chassis is just as good as a explorer or ranger if not stronger.
