Finally, BFG 10000 in all of its in-game glory. This lil' facemelter is actually pretty easy to mix, but I was too busy banging my head straight into oblivion to ever time things right.

it’s been three years and I’ve just realized that the main riff (0:12-0:24) is just the buildup melody from BFG division translated into high bpm guitar. i love it when Mick plays with motifs
This was my favorite level. When this song kicks in, and the BFG 10k is just blasting over and over while you’re leaping and destroying demons, it is one of the coolest gaming experiences I’ve ever had.

I feel so bad for metal bands that put out amazing albums in 2016 and 2020...just to have Mick Gordon come in and absolutely destroy any competition.
This has to be one of the if not actually THE heaviest metal song I've ever heard. And I've been delving deep into weird stuff for the better part of 20 years now.
I would say Rip and Tear is the heaviest metal song in any game.

I'm a mechanic, and whenever I have a bolt that's on there REALLY REALLY TIGHT and I can't get it off no matter how hard I try, I pull out the BIG GUNS (any song from the doom soundtrack) and it works every time. It awakens a primal rage in me and I become the slayer for a brief moment in time
