I just realized that Steve storyline in Tekken 4 is similar to Butch in Pulp Fiction where Butch was ordered by Marsellus to throw the boxing fight in the 5th round but Butch end up going against it by not only winning the fight but killing his opponent as well and Marsellus sent Vincent & others to find Butch and kill him.

At the 8 minute mark it’s just so funny to me how he lost the first round and then came back on got a perfect on him the second round and just how quick it was lol
When you hit Stage 7 Steve has no idea who Nina is, shes just another opponent to him... so after the tournament when hes searching through Mishima Zaibatsu's database and realizes who she was 15:47 was him having a flashback of like "Holy sh*t that woman was my mom!!!" He didn't realize he was seeing his own Mother for the first time in his life
