- Facts of Life - Things heat up at Eastland as Roy perpetually stalks Jo -- but will Blair come between them? And will Jo ever admit her true feelings? Season 3 brings on the secret passions.
I do not own the rights to this material.
Roy was one the funniest things on "Facts Of Life"
Jo became to patient in season 3.
The faces Jo makes are PRICELESS!!!
How did Nancy McKeon manage to keep a straight face through these scenes???
the Roy and Jo thing was one of the funniest things on the entire show to me! I laugh every time! LOL
This pairing reminded me of screech and Lisa. He was always into her and she always made fun of him. But they always were so funny in scenes together. Lol
I hated Roy, he was a stalker and disrespected women. I loved the show.
Loren Lester is one talented fella. He played a stalker so well.
What movie is that, I gotta see it
Loren Lester was basically the same geeky character in the movie "Rock and Roll High School" but even more deviant... Loved the Ramones in that!!
I knew some guys like Roy. Didn't know the meaning of "no" and "I don't do romantic relationships".
I wouldn't say they were creeps, but they definitely insisted on having me as their girlfriend, something I never wanted to do with anyone.
Did you ever end up being someone’s girlfriend?
They were creeps ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
They gave Roy the best one liners, hahaha
At the end, Blair's like "Oh, no! What have I done?" She clearly didn't know what she was getting herself into.
Remember years later Roy delivered a singing telegram. He looked cute & owned the company. U got that one?
I was today years old when I found out Roy was the voice of Robin.
On which Batman show?
@@wonderfulwookiee6443 Batman the Animated Series and New Batman Adventures. Even as the character became Nightwing.
@@tonyyoung3985 cool! Thanks
At 3:08, Mrs. Garrett's like "WHAT?!?"
Jo and Roy had a love hate relationship. I love those 2
Yes- he loved her, she hated him 😂
Roy was the epitome of every straight guy who thought because someone was female and he was attracted to them, he had a right to very persistently pursue someone, to the level of sexual harassment.
@@reversepolarity8981 Roy was a harasser who refused to listen to Jo or take no for an answer. It was played for comedy in the 1980s but definitely hasn’t aged well. Today, someone like Roy would have a restraining order and might even be banned from campus.
Omg hysterical. He was obsessed w her lol
I would LOVE to have seen Jo and Roy as a couple
(ANYONE, but Rick)!
A couple of what? Jo doesn't like Roy.
Eddie! She always should have stayed with Eddie!
Roy gives me stalker vibes.
Roy later became the voice of Robin in Batman Animated series.
Roy just didn't know when to quit, did he?
Loren Lester aka Roy was the voice of Robin and Nightwing on Batman: The Animated Series.
Roy was annoying
yea, but everyone LOVED him!
@@kristabrewer9363 He had a certain Steve Erkel quality about him -- annoying yet lovable
@@timebandito4278 more like screech vibes lol
@@kristabrewer9363 lovable? Barely tolerable.
I think they struggling on what to with his character - thats why he didn't last long.
They were wating for Scott Bryce !! Xd
I agree. He was a one-dimensional character. Joy should have gone out with him once for more depth. Frankly, it today's world he'd be condemned for harassment.
Joe is my favorite one
so bad ass anf fuuny
THIS PERSON IS STARTING TO ANNOY ME TO THE POINT OF CALLING THE COPS 👮♂️ ON THEM FOR HARASSMENT
I've just saw the episode when Blair found out that her grandfather was a racist and wanted to be like "normal person" that's why she was on bowling date with Roy
I never felt as sorry as I did for Blair than in this episode.
What happened to your video of Nancy and Roger?
I guess UA-cam deleted it. They've been deleting a lot of my videos lately sadly. Enjoy them while you can.
What do you suppose Jo's dad would've done if he ever met Roy?
Now who is the better couple Jo and Roy or Nancy O. or Roger?
At least we got to see who Roy is 😁
Roy would have been cute if he didn't act so corny but I thought he was hilarious nonetheless
I feel bad for Jo Roy hassling her after time and again saying it was never gonna happen it’s hey zippy you don’t get the hint by now she doesn’t want you like that stop harassing her frfr
Eddie and jo is more a couple
Poor Roy, he was really trying so hard!!!! My girl, Jo should have given him a real chance!!!!
You can’t give something a chance if you don’t have the same feelings for the person it’s not fair to you or that person to force something that’s not there
She wasn’t into him and he wouldn’t take no for an answer.
@@JustRobin2009 Ik. But hey, Roy was very persistent and vigilant. Gotta give him mad props for trying, though.
@@rebels42wynn83 His behavior would now be rightfully considered stalking and harassment. Jo told him no again and again and he refused to listen.
@@JustRobin2009 Which is why I so glad this show was made back in the 80s and not today. Everything is too PC now and humour on television is pretty much non-existent
Jo prefers the Fonzie type.
Eddie?
Poor Roy. He was always the stooge of the show; always a comic relief clown that Jo put down and humiliated all the time. It's too bad he never graduated to a regular. Even Skippy on Family Ties had more dimensions than this.
I think this was the episode where Blair found out her deceased grandfather, whom she loved, was a racist, who was involved with the KKK.
Roy was cute and funny, but annoying. I think Jo wanted a guy like Fonzie. That sailor she dated was wimpy. Charlotte Rae's voice was irritating. I watched this show new, and preferred the Eastland years.
Jo wanted a girl like Fonzie!
From a time when nobody talked about what a lesbian was.
I loved this show. But the Roy and Jo aspect has aged badly and was never funny. A man ignoring a woman’s repeated “no” isn’t funny.
