Fly through the Folger Shakespeare Library

Our new exhibition, "A Monument to Shakespeare: The Architecture of the Folger Shakespeare Library," celebrates our historic building. Designed by Paul Philippe Cret and opened in 1932, the Folger houses the world's largest Shakespeare collection. Fly through the Folger's soaring Great Hall, Gail Kern Paster Reading Room, and Elizabethan Theater with this tour, filmed by Bennett Cerf, Colin Burgess, and Nicolas Navia.

This is the hidden gem of D.C. I services the fire alarm in this place for years. The building is magnificent and the treasures that it houses are amazing. They have jewel encrusted books that were made for kings hidden in their vaults...If you visit Washington D.C. it’s a must to see a play in their theatre.

This is so magnificent and beautiful. I've watched it multiple times. What does pantaloone mean on the stain glass window of a man's life cycle? The arts? It looks like my life except I wasn't that wealthy.
