I'm so happy about this interview... I've been blown away by my fellow Dodger fans who think that Soto would hurt this team and be a drag in the clubhouse. This goes to show the power of social media and misinformation.
The part you and others are missing is that Soto is another left handed batter. We already have Freeman and Muncy as lefties. Yes they are at the tail end of their career but consider the future. Or let’s first consider even 2024. Outman and Heyward were expected to be big contributors but opposing managers threw left handed pitchers at the Dodgers which severely altered their careers. Lux has been impacted by it too. Future. Consider that 4 of the 5 best position prospects are left handed hitters: 1. Alex Freeland SS L 2. Dalton Rushing OF L 3. Hunter Feduccia C L 4. Josue De Paula OF L The only right handed top hitting prospect is Diego Cartaya.

The dodgers don't need one Soto, they have plenty of fire power.They beat the Yankees with one sotto.The Dodgers need more starting pitching and depth.Soto is a terrible defensive player and not a good Base runner, the Dodgers should sign Hernandez both of them and get one more starting picture. That's all they need.
as a dodger fan that doesn’t want him here are the reasons. we have a team that already has great chemistry sign those guys & bring them back. signing him will cause some conflicts with the team in my opinion doesn’t matter if he’s a good guy or not juan soto signing with us is just a bad look for us & the mlb. i don’t wanna hear it from every person that we’ve built this crazy franchise super team & that it’s not fair lol not a good look for soto either. it’s like durant signing with the warriors. he lost against them & now he’s going to join them ? weak move he should go redsox or mets def need to sign teo back
