I learned how to drive manual by full sending it and just buying the manual car. The only way you can truly learn how to drive manual is driving one consistently. Ive stalled a plenty stop signs and stop lights and on inclines. Just can't avoid it sometimes and that's okay. Goodluck to your learning journey and hopefully you buy a manual in the future! Definitely subbing to see your process!
That’s so true bro I’m currently saving up to get another car since I wouldn’t want to daily a manual I would most likely get a fast weekend car 🙏 stay tuned bro more videos to come
nice! i had to drive my wrx an hour home when i bought it. spent an hour in a neighborhood near the dealership before going on the highway during a winter storm. that jerkiness in 1st is exactly how i was when i started. felt terrible when i did that at a stoplight a few times. got honked at a few times when i stalled but that's okay, you will always get better after situations like that.
You’re learning well bro! I’m from Bakersfield as well. Bought my first manual brz and learned to drive it last year. Learned way faster by just dailying it.
Yoo that’s right bro! I’ve been learning Manual anytime a friend lets me drive their car 😅😭. Follow me on Instagram @hypnxtizedreyy maybe you’ll see me around town at some car meets 💪
Learned to drive manual by myself when I got my GR86. Got pro efficient with it in two months. Taught myself rev-match in the 3rd month. Stalled many times and some miss shifts in the first month, but it gets fun once you get good.
Probably heard this already but the best way to learn is buying a manual! You're already good enough to get off the lot and get from point A to B. So once you're able, full send and buy one. I learned by buying a gr86 and I got really comfortable in the first 2 weeks.
Drove my 22 GR86 home 2 hours from the dealership and stalled out in a very populated downtown area multiple times. Got laughed at. Deserved it. Best 2 hour drive of my life and I had 20 minutes of learning and practice with manual
Bruh, I just bought my first manual car Saturday not knowing how to drive one. My cousin taught me all Saturday and Sunday because I needed to be able to drive to work on Monday lmao. I made it to work though. It’s only my third day but I’m feeling more comfortable.
I did what alot of ppl seem to do and after trying to learn on friends cars i made the plunge and got a manual. Do not be afraid to stall cause even after a year i still stall in the most dumb ways.😂
How I did it was just by watching mad UA-cam videos on how to do it after that I bout a cheap little scion tc manual to lean until car didn’t work then I fully bought a 2013 civic si and learned from that now I wanna get an STI 😭😭 just the one you drove on this vid
You doing good but try not to shift mid turn (unless you're comfortable with the car). In a rwd car it can act like a clutch kick and you'll spin tf out.
I will be learning to drive manual this coming days I wanted to get a WRX STI as my daily and I am looking forward to learn!!! wish me luck boys and girls

Bro I should just buy a little beater to learn
1st and reverse are the same concept 2to5 clutch in and shift

Tbh I did think about waiting on the shifting. I drove another manual car the next week and it was rwd and I peeled a little coming out of first 😂
Heel toe and downshifting and rev match learn after learning how to drive a manual first👌😂
