Not that long ago, we had a major upgrade on our panel with the Avidyne 550 and 540. In order to get a more knowledge, I scheduled a couple of days with Chuck Cook and flew to Fairhope, Alabama.

Great vid Val. We got our AP back from repair and it’s great. We are still getting to grips with our Aspen and Avidyne set up. They have some amazing features and make flying our Commander 114 even easier
That appeared to be really challenging but you seemed to grasp what Chuck was instructing like you were actually anticipating what was coming next. I liked the little chimes too. So much more information is available to you with this new system and it looks like it raises the safety bar too. Chuck is a very good instructor, very patient. Enjoy the new experiences you will have with this new knowledge Val.

I just added an Avidyne IFD440 and IFD100 to the panel on my PA28R Arrow and I'm on about the same spot on the learning curve as you. What a great system! Clearly designed by pilots for pilots. All the resources are right there when you need them. Loving your videos!

I love watching your informative videos and these last couple in particular have been so informative. I find pausing the video or re-winding to watch the screen information helps as well. Please keep up your efforts to educate us all. Throughout these two videos we can see you confidence growing as Chuck shows you yet another short-cut or tweak available. How far have you got with your ratings now?
