WRONG. You've got your history confused. Trafalgar Square is named after the Battle of Trafalgar which was a sea battle fought by Lord Horatio Nelson who was the famous Admiral commanding the fleet at that battle. There is a column with his statue in Trafalgar Square called Nelson's Column. Also the entrance to the Square was traditionally Admiralty Arch - a monument to Britain's unsurpassed naval power that made it the last great imperial power. Waterloo is on the other side of the Thames River on the South Bank. Originally it was church owned marsh land called 'Lambeth Marshe' owned by the Archbishop of Canterbury but was drained as London expanded and a bridge was needed to connect the South Bank to businesses on the Strand on the North Bank. The Bridge constructed in 1817 was named Waterloo Bridge to commemorate the victory against Napoleon at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815 and the reclaimed former marsh land renamed Waterloo. Nelson was NOT at Waterloo, which was a land battle commanded by Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington (wellies boots are named after him). He is remembered for his victory at Waterloo by the Wellington Arch in Hyde Park corner. The correct reason Mama Mia keep signing Waterloo is because that is the hit song that made ABBA famous! They sung that at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 and it was their win there that propelled them from being a niche Swedish folk pop group to an internationally known phenomena.
I love seeing Georgia shine as Sophie! Been following her since Kinky Boots and the literal ideal Sophie besides Miss Amanda! Wish I could make the trip to see her
I know Georgia as she taught me singing and my entire dance school was taught this exact combo (she used to face at my dancing that’s how we know her )
On Feb.2019 Novello IN LONDON I saw mammamia with this casting!! It was verrrrry good!!! Gorgeouse!!! Sara Poyzer!!!!!!♡♡♡♡♡ She was still powerful and energetic~~!!!!!pls.come to Korea again!!!!
Having been involved with a local production of Mamma Mia here in my hometown across the pond, I come back to watch your videos all the time. This had to AWESOME for your audience to see this LIVE!
I've just watched the show with this cast and I must say that it's way better than this performance, which it's also very good. I really enjoyed it and I highly recommend it
Fearn and Tucker’s Angel Forever actually no your wrong because he’s the current sky. Look on the cast and creative on the website and it says so. Don’t be so sure of yourself 😂
Fearn and Tucker’s Angel Forever your so aggressive in the way you phrase things! The fact you said “I only know it’s him cos of the Geordie accents cos I hate them” is so rude so you can’t really expect anyone to be nice to you. And actually we are right and you are wrong! Look at the website. Whoever the lady was, she was wrong. Have you ever heard the phrase “Don’t believe everything you hear”? Well maybe you should do a bit of research before being so sure of yourself. So no lol I’m not gonna sod of and no one else will either as we all have the right to be here. If anyone should “sod off” it’s you because you’re being so unpleasant. You’re literally the same on every single comment section! You clearly need help so I sincerely hope that you get it and can overcome your personal battles. It’s ok not to be ok but don’t take out all your hatred on others and post horrible comments as future employers may also be able to find these comments. Your comments about childbirth and breastfeeding would definitely not go down well! And I remember so other people definitely will too.
Heck the sequel hits theaters on July 20!!,so this will get you in the mood for the sequel telling the backstory of Donna and her pals and the men in their lives.
The winner takes it all she is the best actor on the stage is she from north Ireland or the uk and want about the colaiste cholmcille student who had a school musical called abba
Does anyone find the older blonde lady at the front really over the top and annoying? She’s trying to draw attention to herself but it’s just in your face 🙄
The vocals of dancing queen were horrendous and they dance like they've just had hip replacements. Yikes! The Australian tour company is SO much better
I really wanted to like this, but it was pretty dreadful. Yikes. I mean, the performers are fine, but nothing about this makes me want to see the show. Quite the opposite actually. No way I'd spend money to get tickets for the show after seeing this.
Just take it for exactly what it is. A bucket load of fun in a stage show. It’s not meant to change anyone’s life, it’s not meant to be deep and meaningful. It’s just fun and brings to the fore the sheer joy that is the music of ABBA.
Rezaal That's exactly my point though. This should be silly ridiculous good fun, but it's actually just kind of cringey. I'm sure the full show is entertaining, but it didn't come across that way in this particular performance.
Kate Staples Calm down Kate. It's ok to post a critical opinion occasionally. The world won't end. In fact, critical opinions can actually make things better. If something isn't done right, than people speaking up can put pressure on the people in charge to make improvements. That's better for everyone, including the actors. I'm an actor myself, so trust me, I'm not being rude to the actors. Like I said, the actors in this are fine. There's just something off about this particular presentation.
I love the two movies but I’m not so sure about the musical. It doesn’t feel right that all of mamma Mia was sang as an ensemble I liked that in the movie they had a clear lead but in mamma Mia it wasn’t so clear. Please don’t hate me it’s my opinion
Hugh mungas yes, abba was popular in the 70's but the clothes are all early 2000's inspired, trying to pass them as 70's but any girl who was a teenager in the 2000's can tell you it's actually from the 21st century.
Jutta Hofschneider no, since there is now going to be a second film, they refer to it as "the first" film. But they can't day "both films" because the second one isn't out yet. They know that this is a broadway musical.
Seeing ABBA's legacy live on just makes me feel like a proud mother
Seeing abba,s legacy live on just makes me like a proud mother having the time of your life at mamma mia the musical cast are amazing
I love how every year they feel obliged to do Waterloo because they're in Trafalgar Square
i actually hadn't thought about it like that. i just figured it was the song that would let them show off the dymanos and dads costumes
WRONG. You've got your history confused. Fantine Daae she’s amazing but she just recently had to leave the show due to azma
I know Georgia as she taught me singing and my entire dance school was taught this exact combo (she used to face at my dancing that’s how we know her )
She’s one of my mums old friends from dancing!
Miss Amanda
I love seeing Georgia shine as Sophie
I love it! This black haired guy in the front row is so into it, amazing to watch! Also the crowd singing makes me really happy :)
Phantome Is On Mars
I noticed him too! He's also in the Kinky Boots video, singing along!
Haha that’s me ;)

June, 2021. The Plague is starting to abate. London, you need to do this again! Same place! "When you get the chance..." Time to live again
I got to meet Georgia (Sophie) after the musical! She was so, so nice and passionate about performing and the show itself was absolutely AMAZING

The winner takes it all she is the best actor on the stage is she from north Ireland or the uk and want about the colaiste cholmcille student who had a school musical called abba
Don't hate me but in my opinion nothing will beat the two movies!
i love it but when i went to see it, it was actually soooo quiet you could hardly hear them
I love the musical, but this is just like regular concert
Bagas Rifai that's cause....it is. These are just concerts of the songs in the show lol
Eh the jukebox musicals always do this at West end live and tbh it's a nice way of getting everyone singing and dancing.
Lilly James is.the young Donna in the sequel and Cher is Ruby, the mother of Donna and grandma to Sophie and the one who told Donna not to return home.
What’s the name of the girl singing The name of the game?:)
Gorgia Louise
Who plays Sophie in this??
Who’s the girl singing The Name Of The Game, please?
Georgia Louise x
Lottie Grey Thank you.
Does anyone know the name of the guy sitting in the front next to Donna at the end? 😍😍
Who is playing Sophie here?
Hi there, it’s me, Georgia Louise!x
you are so great! I'm definitely booking to see you when I come to London .
Georgia Louise I watched your performance last week. It was really awesome! You are so talented and fabulous!!!
Georgia Louise woah you are so incredible!!
Are these the people from the 1999 mamma Mia musical?
nope . these are from the 2018 UK musical cast .
Is the older lady at the front the same women who was in heathers as the teacher?
Lmao the thumbnail
Good sound, because they are mainly miming.
Bob Smithies no they’re not
And the sound is terrible.
Who’s playing Sophie here?
Nicola MacDonnell Hi! It’s me, Georgia Louise.
Labas
Georgina Castle as Sophie please!!!! Thank you.
loving the one who plays rosie, but this is the whitest thing i've ever seen😂
Does anyone find the older blonde lady at the front really over the top and annoying? She’s trying to draw attention to herself but it’s just in your face 🙄
movie is 100000x better however Waterloo was good
The vocals of dancing queen were horrendous and they dance like they've just had hip replacements. Yikes! The Australian tour company is SO much better
West ends are rubbish these days ( The Acting ) The singing is amazing 🎵 🎶 🎤 this is my opinion not yours please don’t be offended My by comment
Personally I don't even think the singing is that great. Dancing Queen hurt my ears quite frankly.
I really wanted to like this, but it was pretty dreadful. Yikes. I mean, the performers are fine, but nothing about this makes me want to see the show. Quite the opposite actually. No way I'd spend money to get tickets for the show after seeing this.

AWorldWithoutTenors it’s actually a really good show.
AWorldWithoutTenors I saw this full cast a few weeks ago in a theatre. They are amazing, best mamma Mia show I have been too.
I love the two movies but I’m not so sure about the musical. It doesn’t feel right that all of mamma Mia was sang as an ensemble I liked that in the movie they had a clear lead but in mamma Mia it wasn’t so clear. Please don’t hate me it’s my opinion
The version of Mamma Mia shown here is the finale version. It’s sung earlier in the show by Donna when she first sees Sam
compared to heavy emotions in les mis and phantom this is better !😍
music is great. Choreography sucks. Watch the film online free and save your ticket money!
I don't get the early 2000's costume inspiration, looks really weird and sounds pretty average, except the second number, that one was terrible
Nightingale21 actually it’s 70’s, when ABBA was popular
Hugh mungas yes, abba was popular in the 70's but the clothes are all early 2000's inspired, trying to pass them as 70's but any girl who was a teenager in the 2000's can tell you it's actually from the 21st century.
Nightingale21 because it’s set in the early 2000s??
I cringed for the whole 8:03. It was dreadful. Put me off ever seeing this on stage.
this looks about white..
this is terrible
banana boat why do u thinks it's terrible?? All of it or a specific part
Marveymillsgirl its a garbage show, proof that putting famous music into a show wont make it good
Tyler Palma lol, Someone's bitter.
Carlos Alejandro Alvarenga someones *voicing their opinion
Tyler Palma bitter*
Please no.The first film was awful. This looks worse.
Gary Davies someone's bitter.
Eh? "The First film"? Do you think this is from the 2nd film? O.o
Jutta Hofschneider no, since there is now going to be a second film, they refer to it as "the first" film. But they can't day "both films" because the second one isn't out yet. They know that this is a broadway musical.
Tuff luck
Carlos Alejandro Alvarenga it’s West End. That’s why they’re performing at West End Live
