I really wanted to like this, but it was pretty dreadful. Yikes. I mean, the performers are fine, but nothing about this makes me want to see the show. Quite the opposite actually. No way I'd spend money to get tickets for the show after seeing this.
Just take it for exactly what it is. A bucket load of fun in a stage show. It’s not meant to change anyone’s life, it’s not meant to be deep and meaningful. It’s just fun and brings to the fore the sheer joy that is the music of ABBA.
