I never trust what they guess the weight to be from ultrasounds. My sister had multiple nurses and doctors tell her my niece would be "5 pounds". She popped out at 10 lb 15 oz 🤔🤔🤔
@@amberleaf7 No. That's completely wrong. Very high blood pressure like that is extremely dangerous, not only for the mom but the baby as well! In those cases, the baby is safer out than in. OB's do not play with hypertension. Please get educated.
I had a c-section at 35 weeks and my baby had trouble breathing too! They said boys lungs develop slower than girls #boymom. The epideral was so crazy- like I think that's one of the reasons I couldn't have him vaginally (because I couldn't feel anything or really "push"). My little guy's lungs weren't developed, he couldn't suck, he had jaundice, couldn't regulate his own temperature, etc. He was on life support for 2 days and it was the scariest thing I've ever dealt with in my entire life. It changed me. I was blessed with the most amazing nicu nurses that gave me hope and support. My Aiden is about to turn 10 years old and he's perfect. Thinking about those nicu times still bring tears to my eyes.
Did you get any steroid shots for your baby's lungs? I had my baby at 34 weeks but I got steroid shots for her lungs and yet when she was born she was not breathing and they had to wait for her to at least take a small breath to get her on oxygen it's super scary but I had a vaginal birth
Thank you for sharing your story. Gave birth to my second baby #boymom at 35 weeks and 2 days, and he is in the NICU. Regulating blood sugar and feeding, and I get nervous, I pray he is being healed daily and that there won’t be long term complications. Reading things online can be scary. Did your son have delayed milestones because he was born early and was in NICU? Like learning disabilities or delays??
Good size baby! My son was 8lbs via ultrasound at 35 weeks! I was induced at 39weeks 1day for high blood pressure and he weighed 10lbs even and his delivery was a breeze! Big and healthy babies are the best!
My daughter was only 8 pounds and 9 oz. But she got stuck inside of me... baby was too big for me. I'm pregnant again and he is measuring large as well so idk what's gonna happen yet.
I just want to say congratulations and both you and your husband are extremely bless! When prayers go up blessing sure do rain down in Gods timing and not our own. ❤️
I was induced at 34 weeks my daughter was born weighing 4lb she was checked over but was fine we had to stay in hospital for 3 days & then we were allowed home! Xxxx
My first epidural was great, no pain, worked for the most part...I got it 2 minutes before pushing. My second epidural they severed a nerve so I had pain during my epi and also for months and months after and had to go for scans of my back and all kinds of crazy stuff. I'm 4 weeks and 1 day from my due date with my 3rd and I do not plan on having an epi unless it's an emergency situation. I also was in a wreck august of 2017, had steroid injections in December of 2017 due to ruptured and herniated discs in my neck and back, and I just had a bad fall about 2 weeks ago and injured my tailbone. So labor is going to he crazy painful for me at this point but I'm trying to mentally prepare myself and I'm hoping for the best!
My 2 pregnancies I had epidurals and in the first one it was wearing off after delivery and since I had tear they were stitching me up when I felt their needles in there and I screamed. They asked if I felt that and I told them I did so they had to give me more epidural and wait a few minutes and ask again and felt nothing.
Just found this i'm 35 weeks today and i'm now packing the hospital bag just incase as i've been putting it off like "nah it's fine it'll not happen haha" I need to be more prepared 😂 That had to be such a scary thing just going to a routine appointment to delivering 🙈
my epidural didnt work..left me with severe back pains and a numb foot. i had to take a bunch of MRIs because they wanted to find out what caused the numbness for monthsss and ofcourse i had to have alot of Neurology appointments
+ashleysmith C-sections suck. I just had my daughter on the 4th of July via cecearsean because she was breached. But if you have to have one, I recommend you walk as soon as possible with help. It's what helped with my recovery.
I watched your video last night. I had my 35w appt today. The same thing happened to me. Mine wasn't as high as yours. I'm on bed rest until Monday after I submit my 24 hour urine. It's just a waiting game now.
I happened upon your channel six months ago and loved your videos. Your delivery story really struck me. I developed extremely high blood pressure five days after giving birth. My daughter and I had just left the hospital. When the doctor sent me back to the hospital, they put me back on the L&D floor. Since my daughter had been discharged and it was flu season, she couldn't come back. It was awful to be separated. I agree that I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I am so glad he is doing well and is home!!
I’m 35+1 I’ve had spd since 28 weeks when the baby dropped down I’ve been getting bloody mucus since 3 weeks ago and constant pelvic pressure and constant Braxton hicks I really feel like I’m gonna have this baby early this is my second child my son was induced at 39+5 because my waters broke with no contractions :/ x
Similar thing happened with me ! I went in for a routine appointment at 36 weeks, my daughter was still breeched, they tried to turn her 3 times and couldn’t so they decided an emergency c section. My husband and I had NOTHING with us. It was scary but she came out completely healthy ! I am now 35w pregnant with my second girl hoping all goes well this time lol
I have followed you on Instagram the last few years. I just really like you! You are such a beautiful person inside and out and so down to earth!! I had my fourth baby (a boy after three girls!) in December. His birth ended in an emergency c-section that was a very traumatic birth that I was actually put under for. I can totally relate to the feelings of "is this really happening to me??" I am so happy you and him are healthy and happy now!
Nice vlog. Same happened to me at 35 wks with my first baby a little girl. Went to docs appt blood pressure was so high they sent me to hospital to monitor me, after a few hrs off monitioring and pressure still high they decided to induce. I was scared to death. It took a whopping 24 hrs to give birth. She was 6 pds exact. She was long and very skinny. She was very healthy tho and did great but I think it was due to getting steriod shot at 25 wks because I went into preterm labor. They stopped the labor and gave me steriods jus in case they couldnt. Its crazy how life works
Same thing happened to me it’s really scary I didn’t have a c section though. Are you planning to have a second baby, I want to but I’m scared after all that 😢
Thanks a lot for sharing your personal experience very informative and helpful... I will be delivering my baby soon. Looking forward to hearing more advice from you...💕🙏
First of all, congratulations to you and your husband. Second, Thank God your little boy did great and is now home with Mama and daddy. Have you gone back to teaching? I think we would all like to meet Channing if you're not opposed to that. Anything you are comfortable sharing is fine with me.
thank you for sharing your story, i was wondering if they gave you the steroid shots for his lungs to develop before you gave birth or the mms magnesium for his brain?
I sorry you couldn't do a vaginal birth I'm actually surprised they didn't let you progress longer I had high blood pressure as well I spent two weeks in the hospital before I was induced at 34 weeks I literally was induced on a Wednesday and had my baby girl Friday afternoon I was on magnesium to prevent seizures and taking 800 lebatalol 3 times a day but my doctors let me have a vaginal birth I had a scare because I was only 7 cm when I had her I wasn't dialated to 10 but she was 4 pounds so she was little but her head had been down so long that she was loosing oxygen and if I didn't push at that moment I would've had an emergency c section but it's all worth it

Funny fact. My son was born and right when he was placed on me he shit all over me lmao i will never forget it 🤣

They told me with my second one that he was going to be a good 8 lbs and turned out to be 6.13lbs.
Everyone swore my daughterwas gonna be 5 to 6 pounds and she was a solid 9 pounds
Wow omg
My son was born emergency c-section 5 lbs 11.5 oz..so blessed we are both healthy ❤

Wow!!? I thought they had to be 5lbs to leave the hospital? Im threatening preterm at 33 wks and she is measuring 4.5lbs your story comforts me
I had my first at 34w4d - 6lbs2oz - and he was in the NICU for 13 days! Crazy how different things can be baby to baby. Your daughter is a fighter! 💪🏼
You are the cutest!! Love this makeup look
Thank you, Jessica!
My son was in the NICU too. It's not easy but our baby boy is home with us. Congratulations 🎉

I'm currently 33 weeks pregnant. I enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing❤

That sounds so scary ;( im 32 weeks and im terrified of a c section or being induced early..you're definitely a trooper mama

Keep doing baby/postpartum updates! Maybe do a "how I found out I was pregnant" video next?

they didn't try and wait for her to turn?
Why did they do an emergency c section because you were breech??? You still had time to turn around. What doctor do you have
My water broke 2 weeks ago, at 35w0d. 19 hrs of labor and he came. Definitely not what how i expected to end our baby shower day.

임신 영상
so many “ums”😂
It was interesting listening to your story but you obsess over the epidural and numbing medicine lol
She did not obsess about it. She just told her experience. You sound crazy.
Common sense.. Everyone is different so her experience may not be yours
