Hello George,, good to be home and watch your video and relax, we were trapped in heavy flooded small town for a week and help people to clean and recover belongings .The worst flood in New Zealand history.Best regards to all,, Tony.
Great videos George! Just wondering whats your opinion on wings for dry flies? When should I use traditional dry flies versus parachutes? Also with CDC flies they tend to sink after a few casts, do you recommend adding foam? Thanks
Have to agree with you George about entomology, I’ve been learning a lot about it lately and it’s definitely helped on the river fishing, just out of interest will u fish the dry fly in March or is it a month early for u ? It’s usually late April by the time I’m on the dry
Good stuff David,I fish dry anytime I spot a trout rising,I will forsake all other methods in favour of the dry fly. It's not unusual to see a few risers in March,on a nice soft day.
Hi George, just a quick question about tying off, are there any tricks to tying off the fly without trapping fibres forward of the eye of the hook. Thanks, Pat.
