uploaded a new archer video yesterday rythmn showing the burst of the class with dead eye etc and yes snipe and bleed + concusive arrow hurt like a freaking truck xD nice guide aswell!

Hey Rythmn! Really nice build! Id change a few things for myself. I would not take the auramancy passive (Late game) because you can get 3 auramancy gems, you have like 4 seconds to stack inspire, enough for me. I put that point into float, just a nice dmg increase! I also use the rocket boots and they are very good in wpvp, use them and float! Nobody can reach you :3. I have always played with bonejard so i pick that instead of the 2. archery passive. If you have amazing attackspeed and ping. You can snipe and bonejard and it will trip. It like never works but its worth a try here and there :3 bonejard is also good to trap healers for example!
Anyways, nice video! Keep it up, im interested to see a guide on how to beat classes like shadowblade, i play it myself on fresh start and some archers seem to have problems and panic as soon as they get into mudhand or lastetude!
Hi, Rythmn! Same Build here, is just perfect.
Inside the 3.0 Patch Notes they said that Boneyard is fixed, right now it give like a 0.1s Snare on hit for avoid the Lag/Latency problem that cause the people don't get struck inside of it... All the times that I used it I had no problems, but maybe the problem is still there and I faced only people that don't lag.
I switch Concussive Arrow for Boneyard when I don't feel the need of CA, much time I relay only on the Snare-Snipe Combo and I don't feel the need of Concussive Shot (Could still be useful against Tank/High Avoidance Classes, but anyway with enough Focus this isn't a problem) preferring to have the less amount possible of Skills that require Cast, we have enough Damage even without it, and I much prefer relying only on the Shackle of Shadowsmite.
Same for Poison Arrow/Stalker Mark, I switch it when facing Healer/Healer-DPS.

Hey Rythmn, been watching your vids for a while and love your content. Right now I'm playing a mage but would love to try out archer. I do have a full set of gha leather arcane but no good bow of course. I'm afraid once I try out archer and get into it the class is going to be outclassed by better geared players. What do you recommend I should do with only arcane gha gear and use the least amount of money. Thank you.
4:37 I don't think you mentioned it, but it's got 200% extra defense penetration at max rank + it can never be parried, etc.

Nice build. Gonna throw some input on deadeye. I use it in my build because it only takes a second to activate. Normally what happens is I stop moving for my combo skills and then I kite with endless arrows. It makes my damage high enough that I melt most people before they can get to me.
coyotetracker1 That's actually a pretty good approach. I haven't played with it much, but it definitely gives a HUGE damage increase so I might start to soon.
Tried AA at release but gave up with all the issues back then. How is it now? How is it ptw? Realy miss my open world pvp

This is what i can reccomend by personal experience. gear is mostly F2P exept the obsidian parts but they are about 1k gold in mats and maybe 2k in regradeing (if you are unlucky). Enigmatist is about kiting the enemy as long as possible and dealing fatal melee range damage if needed. Don't let you get fooled by skills like arc lightnig. Enigmatist is not a caster. it's more like a melee mage hybrid with kiting abilitys. if you want some demonstreation check out my channel. I have a vid there about how I play the class.
In my oppinion the most efficient and fun way to play a mage. gl and hf mate

yo i need help with the game, the character model in the creator doesnt load(the bodys are just black just the face is clear) and everytime i use skills the backround in the game goes black and after a second or two it goes back to normal, how can i fix this?

boneyard is almost a must, its underestimated kiting ability. They blink towards u - they get global cooldown, u press boneyard, ur one cooldown ahead to kite, its insane ability if u know darkrunner is about to blink towards u, u just spamboneyard and make them waste their gap closing ability, atleast thats how it works for me.
also u can do a rotation, sleep->concusive->boneyard->snipe, its only a example, also u can interupt abilities or give enemy caster LoS so they cannot cast anything on u while ur rooted, boneyard
is a great spell, rythm try to look for situacions in your mind where u can use it, and i think ull start playing with that spell :D

You didnt talk about the combo potentials with Concussive :( Concussive is your hardest hitting skill by far now. When I'm landing 12k crits as ebonsong for Snipe, but 13k crits as primeval for Concussive.... ya theres a large damage difference there lol. (PvE numbers tho, I have a Hasla T1 :\ )
Not to mention armor pen when your target is bleeding... tho I"m not sure how that is mathed out however since it is 40% increased pen... so not sure if it requires a level of armor pen beforehand or not.
I been trying to make it as a primeval but my ping + server lag fuck me so bad cant dungeon cant pve cant pvp Im thinking alot of quiting primeval and change classes

I've been trying multiple builds on prime since 3.0 and ended up with this: i.gyazo.com/cb977f3b52e7e8402cb58b48e67192f4.png
Basically what archery got in 3.0 is a trip on snare->snipe and a 10% nerf to instants (which made piercing shot worse than toxic shot)
The best way to benefit from that change is abusing leech->snare->snipe->concussive->dagger->dropback combo, problem is snare/leech/dagger are non-ranged abilities so they will always have around 5% chance to miss UNLESS you take improved targeting.
What improved targeting does is not only eliminating any chance to miss from leech/snare/overwhelm/shadowsmite but also allowing to migrate 100 STR and 100 SPI into agility (which will put you at exactly 92% chance to hit with melee attacks assuming 0 extra STR/SPI on gear). This way you get extra crit and ranged atk which makes up for losing dmg passives like piercing and eagle eyes.
To get to improved targeting you need to allocate 2 extra points into auramancy (not counting improved targeting itself). I take liberation because snare is used for combo if you get leech first, without it you might get opponent down to 30% and then get rekt by shadowsmite/concussive. Comet's boon is extra mobility (+100%-ish extra movement speed for 4 seconds every 14 seconds), it makes up for losing less consistent bonyard and in similar fashion gives you some edge in mobility trades with darkrunners.
Tried float+snare combo but it only works well against mages that run little mobility (daggerspell only?), otherwise too hard to get off
