September from PTS & Hanure with my last installment of the Larceny Is Not Dead series. In this video, I cover the Nobles Crate.
As with all my videos these type of videos I show you the loot drops, and silver to labor ratio's as well as how much gold you can earn per hour. Simple how to, where to go. Hope it helps and please enjoy.

My suggestion: Go to Warsmith castle during Halcy war, get much more crate drops.
Level 40 mobs in Halcy?
Yes the mobs at Warsmith Castle are two star level 40, a bit tougher than those sharks but drop significantly more loot if you have good dps.
Thank you Marko, that reminds me there are those lizard men 2 stars on the route out of Windscour (the gank bridge) to Arcum iris. Couple locations for us to check out. Thank you once again.

I liked this video, but I went to go try to grind there and I was killing mobs about as fast as you. After about 30 minutes I looked and I only had roughly 60 purses and 8 crates. Did the nerf the drop rate, or and I guna be here farming for 10 hours a day here?
Instant farm is not a bug, that is a feature of the group spawner; basically it "overheats" and causes it to instant spawn. You should be able to do it anywhere groups of mobs are, and you can kill the entire group sufficiently fast enough.

Hi Aired! Is there a place in Haranya to farm for these crates? I am a pve player,realy bad at pvp and is frustrating to farm in there. Also i farm jester crates atm,but with 2-3 loot drop boosters barely get 25 crates per hour. Ty.

like everything else in the game on the backwards thing. But you also have high larceny so that makes a dif to for that where normal people of the lvl of the zone would have lower skill in that so
Hello i want to start using larceny as it looks a lot better now on my server. I was planning on using a darkrunner but now im not so sure. What do you think is the best class for farming up coinpurses efficiently? - great video btw it was very informative :) i need to learn how to do spreadsheets lol
Hi, I'm not a class expert. But based on feedback on UA-cam and in game, Battle Rage is probably the best farming tree. Mobility with high burst makes short work of most mobs and melts lower level mobs like for jesters and nobles. I have mostly played mages, but I would think DR's would do amazingly well.

so is it fair to say that for MGP farming nobles would be best? I need a ton of MGP once 3.5 hits so i thought i would start a bit earlier on that
I find nobles the best for the labor yes. We are also suppose to be getting a 3x event (drop rate) with 3.5 so that will open up areas that usually don't cycle to war to be valid like the Rookborne map.
The drop rate of mysterious garden powder is a lot higher in the new crates we get in 3.5, in KR the value of them went down by roughly 75%. So the chances are good that you'll easily be able to farm them, or even buy them for a cheap price off AH once 3.5 goes live, given that there are still people actively farming crates in your region.
Hi Kin, that is some good information. The one thing I am concerned with is that in NA/EU we have split coinpurses. That is we get a coinpurse which only drops silver, and another item called a crate that drops the loot type items. I thought this system was unique to NA/EU and the problem is that the crates drop at a much lower rate than the coinpurse. I'll be testing this as soon as our Test server gets updated but it is good to know that at least in Korea they addressed the problem of needing so much MGP.
Would this work in Fresh Start servers?
The price for the garden powders aren't that high...
Hi Sirandy12, you should check out Jason Wivart's video about Jester purses here: ua-cam.com/video/IBLxDxtb0TU/v-deo.html I believe at the time his video showed a value of MGP's at 32s, now I think they are closer to 1g each, and I would bet until something changes those values are going to continue to go up and up!

Do you have an idea of what your killcount was in a hour? I tried your method and ended up getting less than half of what you got
Note I was using 5 loot drop pots!

I guess it depends on the class, but of course there are these waresharks, there is also Fairies and Deer in north Rookborne, Warsmith Castle in Halcyona, and the Snake Guys between Arcum Iris and Windscour bridge. All have been decent and with this event they would be even better now.

Try the Waterfall in Rookborne mate. i just tested it as Skullknight and i did get 37 crates in a halfhour :)
it is mana bursting but crates come rolling in cause monsters respawn so super quick and u can keep on aoeing them
where exacly is the waterfall? close to what in the map?
Near Watermist , near the airship station. it has orange Flying Fishes in the spot.
Why would you get more from a zone in war? mobs drop more then?
Yes, the drop rate in a war zone is double. You can confirm this by zoning into a war zone and read the little popup. Honor, & Loot drop boost.

Hello Aired, you know if there is another place like this to farm noble coinpurse? because it's full of 4k GS reds there lol
None that I know of, but the key is level 40 mobs. Find those, then you find a farm zone. BTW yesterday I tried to farm this area again and was met by 2 darkrunners that killed me repeatedly. I feel your pain!
i think on the top right of rockborn basin where you come down with the car from Rokhala; i think the mobs there are level 40 can somebody confirm that? EU down....

Its called the Hermits Valley on the map.
Just checked, yep, the Redwing Harpies, and Alpine Reindeer in Roockborne both are lvl 40 and drop nobles even at level 55. Good find MrNeuroti.

In general, that is not in my wheelhouse. There were a lot of skill changes in 3.0 I didn't even bother reading most of them :)
Did you test the "new" metallic crates yet?
There are other videos pretty much covering them. I have opened 10 of them at once in the past, I find it's usually better to sell them and let others take the gamble. In them is the fire/wave lunarites and depending on your server can be pretty valuable.
its another spot pretty good and better in sandeep. you can mob easly around 5-8 with insta respawn in turtles in front of begonia hilliop they are in a wooden fence... i think the better part is not camped. just make sure to see it
Hi Felipe, a couple others mentioned that in my top 10 crate spots video. I did an hour there today, it was pretty amazing, 137 crates in 1 hour. I like it!
U use greedy and LuckyQ?? Yo farm or just with the double exp??
I had 5 loot pots running and this was at the end of the Double event.
Do you think it's worth upgrading the thatched farmhouse?
Odd subject for this video. But if you don't have an upgraded house of sorts you're missing out on a few things. Most notably, at least 2 daily quests. For vocation and gold. Other benefits to the upgraded thatched (depending on the version you choose), can be flower beds, animal pen, mining drill, quick processing for medicinal powder, ground grain, spice, and chopped produce. Furthermore, an improved water barrel (faster water gathering), and 4 growth spots, which may contain blueberries, millet, pumpkin, clover, vanilla, clubhead fungus, or pepper.
If I had to choose which one to build, I'd go with the ranchers or farmers house. The mining house and drill due to the low value of ore isn't worth it.

Yea just finished my ranchers too, 3 more dailies exactly at the double event is sick^^ but i never get clubhead :/

my question would be would doing this be worth if i'd have to buy Labor Potion aswell
It just depends on how many crates you can get in an hour. The money is in the crates not the coinpurses. Also depends on your server type legacy / fresh start. Prices are a little lower on mysterious garden powders on fresh start but still a viable way to make gold.
The idea of these types of videos is to show you where it is best to spend your labor. If you're not making as much as you can doing whatever you're currently doing with your labor, compared to what you can make doing this, perhaps you should spend your labor here instead of there.

On legacy I make 400-500g per hour. Fresh that would be about 175-250g. But I have max larceny so noble crates are only 3 labor to open. To get a for sure answer I would have to know how many crates you can get in 1 hour typically, and what your larceny is. I however assume that you'd still be ahead, but again I'd have to know more to say yes or no to the original question.

Okay then no, it wouldn't be worth it for you to drink labor pots to do this. Try to farm these when a zone goes to war, use any loot buff that you can that is free, halcy provides a 10% if your faction wins, you just have to go talk to the guy at sun's end after. War zones and loot buffs (that are cheap or free) will help with your drop rate. Typically I'll get 80-100 crates in a war zone, in this video it was done in peace time.
Wow, as a Master Larcer I was so sure Larceny was dead! Why did it take me so long to see this video??
Update! I farmed for an hour, got 400 Noble's Coinpurse and 100 crates! I profited around 500g from the crates alone only using 500 labor at 230k larceny! This method is amazing compared to any other coinpurse in the past!

Hm just did it for 20 minutes straight, exact same spot, constant clearing, got 28 purses, 2 crates. Fresh Start may be working differently.
I may not have mentioned it in this video particularly but I was using 5 loot pots. It matters.
Did a full hour just on greedy grimoir (+10%), but i guess that still did something.
108 purses, 38 crates, a bunch of armor, weapon, accessories (that will make even more starlight dust), and a wish to never go to Sanddeep again. It was awful, an hour i won't repeat anytime soon.
It does take a special breed to be able to farm like this. Some like it, some of us just tolerate it.

Great info man. But you know what really sad about it ? MGP on my Russian fresh start is beyond cheap. Bots are a plague. Doesnt matter how many do you kill or report they keep coming back and farming these boxes. Because of them mgp = zero gain. The only good thing is archeum dust to level up your crafting.
That is too bad. If we had a big bot problem I know we would have the same issue.
Here are some stats for comparison. Middle of december and bots are present but not so much. They mainly farm at night and almost never during the day time. December 25 ammount of bots doubled. They are now farming 24 hours. They are not hiding anymore. Before that you will find 2 - 4 bots in 40+ locations.
After december 25 you will find atleast 8 - 12 bots. They are all sorcery + healing + anything else. Time goes by.... January 10. Now 10 - 15 bots per 40+ lvl location. They are now smarter! If you kill them to quick they will wait up to 10 minutes before going back. When war cycle begin they will wait or farm near the guards. Almost every night i kill alot of them. If you cant stop them have some fun atleast )
Okay this is surprising because those are lvl 40 mobs yet they still drop loot which is rare due to changes to loot drop/lvl difference regardless i guess i know where to go to farm MGP now tired of buying them at 15g a pop on AH. + 1 on the video.

i'm doing this with GHA cloth armor and Heroic lost garden scepter :v
i used +10% drop pot and get in 1 houer 16 crates and 78 coinpurses
Me too, I got 14, only 2 med powders, not worth for me, but I guesse its becus I use a class melee attack. So it took too long to kill the mobs since I had to be moving to them when they respawn :(
