Dear Vegan Mini Mouse, thank you so very much for these videos - they are fun and informative! Just curious if you notice many nuts at the vegan restaurants in Japan?
Hey and thank you for your comment! 🫶 Because I'm personally okay with nuts, I have never paid attention to nut-free vegan options in Tokyo. But I can recommend to make a list with all the vegan places you'd like to visit and then write them a message if they offer nut-free options as well. This way you can know at least some restaurants where it's safe to eat. Also when you're in Tokyo, it's a good idea to know how to ask for nut-free dishes in Japanese because English isn't always well-known there but luckily allergies are taken serious there. They all have allergen charts on hand and also possible allergens are often already listed on the product name plate.
@@veganminniemouse Thank you so much for your ideas. I have a great list of vegan establishments thanks to you, so I can start with that. Your information on this is invaluable, thanks again. 🙏
It’s too bad that T’s Tan Tan isn’t as good now (we loved it in 2019), but I think it’s actually a positive thing because it makes you explore other options you end up liking even more. Thanks for another great, relaxing video!
Wish we would have seen your directions to T’s TanTan before we went. Took us 30 min and help from a native who kindly took us close to find it. Sadly the place served lots of peanuts and we could not eat there.
Oh no! Once you know where to find it it's not that hard but the first time always feels like going through a maze! 🫣 Sorry to hear you also had to find another spot to eat because of the allergies. I hope you could find some nice allergy-friendly places in Tokyo though! Luckily they take this very seriously and put these little pictures of the allergens on every product name so we can know what's inside even not knowing Japanese.
Of course! As a vegan, everything I eat is vegan. 07:28 I always show the places where I get my food from. It's called fruits&season in Ebisu. Hope you can try it out!
@@NiaEsto Awesome! Hope you can visit it and have the greatest time! Places with vegan fruit sandwiches in Tokyo are: fruits&season (Ebisu), komeda is (Ginza), hatoya vegan fruits sandwich (Asakusa).
