Mr. Lee has the most insight into an audience of any entertainer I have seen. He uses it with precision. "You get the shows you deserve!" - genius. I see his beard is doing tribute to Richard Herring, his old performance partner, by having the silhouette of a toothbrush moustache as the rest goes grey.
This is undoubtedly, the most incredible, and amazing educational discourse my ears have eaten. Wholeheartedly and hands down had completely changed my world view on the topics that where raised. Our media which is mainly owned by types who want to keep the British economy closely linked to USA banks, encouraging people to live in greed and debt, manages to get people to chant the word lefty as an insult, so they support USA capitalism and blame lefties for what USA capitalism causes. Then they keep voting for political parties who cause what they say they dislike, such as melting pot societies and trans children. It's only the USA that has a TV show for the child trans Jazz Jennings, only a USA magazine that made Caitlyn Jenner woman of the year, and now Dylan for the USA sports brand Nike. While the USA promotes diversity and melting pot societies to left wing countries, and all actual left wing countries such as most in north Europe and Scandinavia promote, are free health care, not being in debt with credit cards, houses are homes than for a few greedy people to buy up to make money off others and child environmental activists.

So, to not say that is to give in to nihilism. On the other hand, after reading Graeber and Wengrow's book The Dawn of Everything--especially that little bit about the ancient Mexican city of Teotihuacan that tore down its temples and built luxury apartments for all of its citizens--I realized how imaginative homo sapiens are; we may be trapped in a dead end narrative at the moment but if history offers us any hope it is that we won't be stuck forever, so dream big even if it comes to nothing. What do you have to lose (other than your useless cynicism)?
