My name is Lucy, I'm a Dutchwoman here to offer an alternative approach to beauty.
On this channel I do mostly hair tutorials where I show you how to braid, pin and style your own hair. I recreate hairstyles from movies, tv shows or history and I regularly come up with my own, which I love to share with you!
I really enjoy diving into history to find out how women went about their beauty and dressing rituals in days past. Vintage and history-themed videos are my little passion project.

you could put the hairnet in the tin that had all those pins and elastics

I love organization videos xoxox I used to be very unorganized because I was raised by somebody who's very unorganized.. I never knew organization could make your mind so calm and relaxed
You should put the string of pearls in the small container with the pearl twists! All matchy matchy like

Put the hairnet in the little tin, then it will never touch the velcro roller.
that's what I was going to suggest, too. if it is the only thing in its own protective case, you'll still use it (not like hunting through the tin for different clips), and it won't get snagged or dirty
I love it. I might have to get something like that. I have a very small space for hair accessories and the fact that they stack is amazing.

I'd keep those hair pins in that little metal container separate from the bobby pins. Great organization. I have issues with my hair accessory drawer also. It never stays organized.

Love the video (as always). What if you put the net inside the roller? I just had the erge to do that when I saw it so I thought I'd mention it in case it is usefool for you.
I just sorted through my hair accessories yesterday! I went with a couple clear jars to store things by type and then a small bin for all my bigger stuff.
How has no-one mentioned the dramatic before and after shots yet? So good 😂

Those drawer compartments really help! Suggestion: could the curling iron rest maybe live with the actual curling iron? And perhaps the hairnet could go live with the wigs and extensions? It just seems that things that go together should be stored together, you know?
The curling iron rest gets lost on the bottom of the basket when it's with the curling irons, all my heat tools are in the large basket right above. I used to store it there but I'd have to take everything out to find it every time I wanted to use it, it's much more accessible when stored with the other little things. As for the hair net, the hair nets that go with the wigs are stored with the wigs. This one is for curls, so it's with the velcro roller and duck bill clips 😁 I agree that what goes together should be stored together, but we all categorise things in different ways!

Looks great! Fun to watch!! I believe hair accessories can last a long time, and what was out of fashion comes back into fashion. I love doing my hair and I still use some of my hair accessories from the 80s to this day! I am super organized and use similar containers to these-they are clear acrylic containers in many sizes and can stack and can be arranged for varying drawer/cabinet sizes. If you're in the U.S., I got mine at Container Store. They have the best organizing tools!

Just a suggestion - depending on how much you use your hairnets, you could store them with your pearl twisties to separate them from your curler :)

To keep the net and the velcro separated you could slide the bottom row to the side and put the net on the other side!
Congratulations, it looked very organized. I think a small zip-lock bag will hold the hairnet and prevent it from catching on Velcro, brushes, etc. , Also it takes up no additional room in your drawer.
