Always look forward to seeing what you have, because it’s different than what everyone else doing weather on here has! I like that you forcast for yourself, and not what everyone else says. You seem to look at the info for yourself and make your own judgements based on what you see, not on what officials are saying about it. Also love that you cover geographic areas your viewers are in! Thanks for all you do!

I'm from NH , We've had a very cold fall into winter here. We have snow across the state some areas got close to a foot , my area got 8 inches of snow . our temps have been 2 to 30 degrees . We really didn't have a fall around NH and VT had part of a foliage to freezing temps in Oct , Nov , right into Dec. I like to see your weather chart .

And it can all change just like that. I follow the weather, but I'm more old school with it. They rely far to much on their computer models which is why they are often wrong on their forcasts. Watch what nature is doing and you can get a good sense of what's coming your way too. In my area the wild life will go to ground just before a major storm. They stock up and hunker down days before any human forecast. 😉

I also appreciated the 'spaghetti map' tutorial. Sure, make your own model- you'd probably do at least as good the commercial simulations. Greetings from S. Michigan.

I never really know what to expect with the weather in Southern Arizona. No weather sites or weather tv reports ever mention what the weather is like in Southern Arizona. We are about 20 years into a long-term drought. We do still get rain and snow, but less than ever before (about 11" here in Tucson). We never really know when it's going to rain or snow because our weather here isn't covered on the major news shows. Southern California gets mentioned as does New Mexico and Nevada and Utah. Guess where we are. Most of our weather comes up from Mexico. The mountains between AZ and CA stop most of the rain and weather from Southern California, so we are in a weird position. We don't get the gulf moisture like Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico.

Looks like a pretty fast flow overall. Have a strong positive NAO currently, only trending towards neutral by the 1st of Jan, so the much needed blocking for slow moving Nor'Easters is missing at the moment. Yet, with such powerful artic air intrusions, with rapidly moving southern jet systems, I can't imagine the cold air is going to get out of the way in time for every event. Especially east of the appalachians where cold air damming is typically an issue..Models will not give us a clearer picture on specific P-types or in what locations til a few days before. But I'd say we have a much more active pattern on its way and the pieces are coming together. I live in central VA where the models have never correctly forecasted our weather to date. We have a wide elevation difference from west to east and it plays a critical role in what type of precip and wind speeds we see in my area. Something the models poorly represent for my area specifically. One reason the digitally processed forecasts aren't correct til the event is occuring and HRRR data is used. Typically wind events from the east completely skip my area due to being too far from the coast, and not high enough in elevation. With Strong Cold Fronts, it seems the air can't sink fast enough as it crests the mountains and we miss the initial blast that is seen in the higher elevations and coastal plain. We'll see what January has in store as in winter, the weather is typically never boring for long. Great videos man. Been a weather nut since a kid. It will never get old or boring. No storm is exactly alike.

You have to wonder what the weather would be like if they weren't spraying the skies, I noticed that they tend to spray when we would normally have a colder day. After they spray it puts a canopy over us to hold temperatures from dipping down so much, I think they more worried about global cooling than global warming. They control as much as they can, but I really don't know if they're is more to it. I really get the feeling you are trying to get the weather forecast right, lot of work, but keep it up.

This is not a critic. I often get confused in your reports. I am just a newbie at this and you go back and forth in time, jump all over the place and loose me quick. Perhaps if you started with a 30 thousand foot view kind of line of thought, clue us in in what you are going to demonstrate, then run through time would help us figure out what you mean. Your reports are full of very valuable info but I feel it is distributed in an helter skelter fashion. It is hard for the newbies to piece back together. Thanks for your content, take good care.

Thanks for the feedback. I’m planning on structuring things and spending more time on single maps in future videos.
