Greatest video ever made for breaking in a glove.
After watching your video and following the steps you gave, I broke in my glove and let someone use it once during practice and they were shocked and amazed on how well it felt. Definatly will recommend this video to everyone. Thanks a bunch

I did this on my last glove exactly. Worked amazingly well.
I play with 2 fingers in the pinky. So I stuck the end of a screwdriver in the pinky while it was wet. That also worked perfectly!
    Great video! Thank you!

This method works Fantastic !!! One thing for anybody doing this. Use Cream Conditioner on the glove after the water had dried out of the glove. Especially on the laces. Use something like Wilson, Rawlings or Nokona Glove Conditioner. Don't use too much just a little. Using the water method dries out the leather a little. So, putting some Cream Conditioner on the glove rehydrates the glove and makes the leather softer. I find this makes the glove and laces last way longer.

Fantastic video. Did this process for my 6 year old's 10 inch glove and it worked great! Typically the smaller gloves are harder to break in the old fashioned way, as they grow out of them so quickly and don't use them enough to break in that way. My son is now squeezing the mitt and getting a great feel for catching the ball properly.

Hey coach I coached tee ball for two years and assistant with rookie minors last year. 7-8 year old first year of machine pitch. This is the second year of machine pitch but they combined some tee ballers from last year which this will w their first year of machine pitch. The coach had to bail so I am stepping up. I have been coaching a long time but fairly new to baseball. Do you have or can you recommend a quick timeline for a 2 hour practice ? I know it’s a lot of info but if you have a particular timeline or practice routine any help is appreciated. I have two assistant coaches and one other parent so will typically have four adults at a practice. Thank you for all your great videos, am sharing this with my parents at parents night. Ben

Alright alright, thanks you guys for all of these super fantastic videos breaking in all of the gloves! Im going to utilize your techniques and get all of my girls’ gloves setup. I used your technique on my glove and both of my daughters gloves.... what a difference it instantly made! My daughters are new to the sport and my youngest was keeping balls in her glove right on the very first catch! I made 2 homemade mallets (lol) after breaking the wooden mallet handle. One I used a 12” softball, as that is the size of ball they are catching to form a bigger size pocket. And then I used a baseball to get it deeper.
Again, your technique was a game changer in what I thought was already a somewhat broke in glove. After using your technique it is undoubtably broke in now!!! Thank you, my girls thank you!!!
