It's the Foundry talent that's healing your shield not safeguard. Safeguard only helps the artificer and that's when it shoots its drone. Hope this helped.
I agree with you but Strikers is somewhat getting nerfed, as is the st. Elmo’s so I need options. The capacitor isn’t getting a rework so it’s a great play here for ARs. I’m going to try this build tomorrow, level my gear up to 17 expertise and maybe play around with the Eagle Bearer which is getting a buff. Thanks for the video
When your shield health "resets", that's the Artificer Hive healing it. You can see the buff running out at 7:05 and activating at 7:07. Edit: I don't know for sure if Safeguard affects Artificer, but since it increases skill repair and Artificer has a skill repair stat, it probably does. So it doesn't heal your shield directly, just increases the heal it gets from Artificer.
Safeguard absolutely effects artificer. Runs off skill tiers and is bettered by repair skills. Try foundry with Alps backpack with safeguard. I was amazed at what happened to the artificer heals. Crazy

So first I want to compliment you on a very detailed explanation of your build which a lot of other creators do not do in terms of explaining why they choose some of the things they choose A foundry tank build with catharsis and one piece of red wherever in the build is fairly meta for legendary content especially on tidal basin and zoo For example I either run pretty much the exact same setup you have with a vigilance backpack. I don't remember if it's Fenris or not though Or I'll put on the foundry backpack and slip on a red chest for either damage or support. For example I might put on gila guard with point man depending on what the group needs But I like the way you put out your content keep the content coming
Running similar, but with Firewall for the Striker shield health, Shocker Punch for melee and Deathgrips for armor regen. So started using this for completing the melee challenge during Global Events and kept using it because they can't kill me. Also loaded up with Protection from Elites.
Some gear pieces are hard to find with certain rolls, then everyone has that one friend who gets all the rolls everyone else wants. I’m that guy in my friend group, countless countdown missions done and still can’t find what you’re looking for? I get pulled in and not even halfway through: “I found the roll you want.” followed by “Fuck you, I’ve been looking for that shit all this time.”
Just made this build, mine is a little different. The backpack is weapon damage. With the skill teir from electronics. You are still at shield tier 6. At watch level 240. Im doing heroic. It is a good grinding build. Thank you
Safeguard only works if you are at full armor if you take any damage it won’t work… it works best for heal builds like future initiative… typically the way you want to play it is staying in the back and healing your team whenever they are low in health… you don’t really want to use it if you are face tanking shots since it relies on you being at full armor… but as long as your shield takes all the shot it should technically work… but if you are getting hit on the sides or getting hit by explosives it’s probably not gonna proc… that’s why you sometimes got it to work and sometimes it didn’t… interesting build though have a good one!

Great build! Didn't have a good Vigilance substitute so I opted for some extra survivability by using a CHC/CHD Matador rolled to blue core. Works like a charm in Legendary Summit.

Umbra initiative clears every build for fastest TTK but it’s by far the hardest to play because you’re basically a Glass cannon and the second you start taking dmg on legendary you need to play cover perfectly to get your heal and fire rate buff back. Takes time but most people say it’s bad because they don’t have the awareness nor dedication to learn to play a mission perfectly without taking dmg solo

having 5 blue and 2 yellow is a waste the shield maxes at 6 combines blue and yellow i just tried out this build with Fenris and was hitting for 450k while tanking 5 directive heroic and only 2 times in the last couple hours did i get a shield break. add that 1 red core on the backpack it wont really make a difference damage wise except give extra vs the yellow core with the capacitor. overall very nice build though vigilance or the one that gives bonus armor when the shield breaks is probably what id use though.
Would you please explain why you are using the Capacitor? My understanding is that it would only buff skill damage which you aren't doing. In that case I would rather use a St Elmo's or similar. But maybe I missed something?
safeguard works basically when you have full armor, taking hits on armor will make it useless. i would stick with the fenris backpack. foundry bulwark works better with the shield.

Show survivability in this build during the second phase of Tidal Basin legendary mission. You always show coupel of initial enemies appearing and claim that this is a strong legendary build. Nope, totally disagree. Youll run out of ammo, and wont even be able to clear half of the enemy spawns. However, thank you for putting up a build video. 🙂
I’ve tried this exact same build and solo’d tidal all the way to the helipad so it definitely works? Next time make a little more sense with your comment, or just keep it to yourself, that always works🤷♂️🙄🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

Safegaurd is great for healing allies but near useless if you are solo as it is not active as soon as you loose a single smidge of armor

I like putting different things together then run Legendary Summit to see how they work for me. Adding this to the menu.
I can play all directives with a different build no need of this or striker. Heroic, legendary. Everyone in div 2 has their own play style. Good video

I would say your shield regen is a combination of the bulwark and artificer hive or more the hive than anything else take the hive off and test it
