HOW TO FIX WATERY BUTTERCREAM | Watery buttercream rescue | Gaely Cake

    I honestly can't explain why it got watery. Everytime I add "a lot of" powder, it becomes watery, like when I also tried adding confectioner's sugar. But if I just add a little of powder, like food color, it doesn't get watery.

    For the INGREDIENTS:
    (you can divide the recipe into two if you don't need a lot)
    10 Large egg whites, fresh
    270 grams granulated white sugar
    3 tablespoons of cocoa powder (unsweetened / alkalized / dutch-processed)

    10 крупных яичных белков, свежие
    270 г гранулированного белого сахара
    3 столовые ложки какао-порошка (несладкого / щелочного / обработанного по-голландски)
    성분 :
    (많이 필요하지 않으면 레시피를 두 개로 나눌 수 있습니다)
    신선한 달걀 흰자 10 개
    과립 백설탕 270g
    코코아 가루 3 큰술 (무가당 / 알칼리 / 네덜란드 가공)
    成分の場合:
    (あまり必要ない場合は、レシピを2つに分けることができます)
    10個の大きな卵白、新鮮
    グラニュー糖270グラム
    ココアパウダー大さじ3(無糖/アルカリ化/オランダ加工)
    للمكونات:
    (يمكنك تقسيم الوصفة إلى قسمين إذا لم تكن بحاجة إلى الكثير)
    10 بياض بيض كبير طازج
    270 جرام سكر أبيض حبيبي
    3 ملاعق كبيرة من مسحوق الكاكاو (غير محلى / قلوي / معالج هولندي)

      @@tootsiepeter39 I think yes. I can't remember if I have tried it before. Just add the melted chocolate little by little.

    I wonder if its the brand of butter, some butters contain more water than others.

      Brand doesn't matter for me. But everytime I add cocoa powder into it, it becomes watery.
