I am so excited 2do my entry now. I've owned my home 2years, stumped on how 2bring things 2gether. Currently I just have a sofa table in my entry, but now I c a better vision as u have done. I hope I get a creative flow soon & finish, I'm ready 2just enjoy my home making tiny finishing touches & not time consuming ones. Thank u so much 4sharing ur creation. Not taking the trim off was my 1st thought 2save time if it fits. It is beautiful
My favorite DIY board and batten video yet! Thanks for keeping it short and sweet (and simple, too!). We’ll done on this project! Can’t wait to do my own entryway.
I was nervous about doing this myself. But after seeing you do it, you made it look so simple. Now I have confidence to do this project myself. Thank you for showing us women how it's done. PS......I love the paint color you choose. So beautiful, just like you!
I was thinking what a pain and a waste to have to tear out my old baseboard. I was wondering what I could use to not have to do all that, then your video answers my question. Thank you!
I love this and want to try it! I appreciate you giving the materials needed but then you didn't specify which pine boards you used for what. Also do you need to nail into studs?
You did a beautiful job, girl! Make sure to touch up that bottom right corner where the white paint is showing through at the 90 degree. Just awesome. Loved the addition of the coat hooks, very clever. Xo Liked. Subbed. Bell...all the You Tubey things. Merry Christmas.❤ 🎄
Hi! Love this project for my home! One Q Im hoping to get your help with - were your walls textured? If yes, did you like the finish result like so, or would you have preferred to smooth the wall first? THX!
Was the wood material you used pricey? I wanted to do this exact design on my bedroom wall, up to around 4 feet high but don't have a large budget. mines will probably be 2x the cost of yours
Great job! When ever you pull those pesky wall anchors, a couple things can make your life easier; partially run a screw into it(just enough to grip, but not far enough open it up), and then pull it out by the screw. You can also pinch the edges in with your pliers and then poke it back into the wall (so that it falls out behind the drywall) with a screwdriver.
I think there are a few different woods could work here, but I did enjoy working with these primed boards, it made painting it so much easier. Of course, you could always prime any wood yourself to get that same convenience. 😊
Aferin çok güzel yaptın bende yapmayı düşünüyorum. Şahane oldu❤❤

Hi there
Could you please share where you purchased the ceiling light fixture please? Thanks for the video!
I was thinking what a pain and a waste to have to tear out my old baseboard. I was wondering what I could use to not have to do all that, then your video answers my question. Thank you!
Great video!!!
This is amazing. I wish I knew how long it took. I love this video!

@@abodeaboveinteriors6592 That's amazing! I will have to try this out. Thank you!
I love the fact that you kept the previous trim! What type of wood is that? Also, where did you get it?
Thank you so much for sharing! 😍
Probably pre-primed pine from Home Depot, comes in 1x2, 1x3, 1x4, 1x6
You made that look so easy!
I literally can't wait to do this in my entryway. Thanks!
Good job, looks 👍 great
I love this and want to try it! I appreciate you giving the materials needed but then you didn't specify which pine boards you used for what. Also do you need to nail into studs?
I was wondering the same thing and the employee at HomeDepo said that we dont need to nail into studs cause these trims are so light.
Amazing video! How far apart are your boards?
What kind of nail gun did you use looks like I will need one
You did a really great job!!
Thank you!

Fabulous! Thank you.

Hi! Love this project for my home! One Q Im hoping to get your help with - were your walls textured? If yes, did you like the finish result like so, or would you have preferred to smooth the wall first? THX!
I've heard of people using hard board to cover the walls if the walls are textured. It's one extra step but seems worth to have a smooth finish.
Great video and instructions!!
Was the wood material you used pricey? I wanted to do this exact design on my bedroom wall, up to around 4 feet high but don't have a large budget. mines will probably be 2x the cost of yours
That looks great. Question: was your original wall textured behind that?
Yup!! Can’t really tell though!
Love your DIY videos, subscribed!
Thank you!
It’s beautiful
Did you just screw your top ledge straigt down into the top board or are there other brackets supporting it?
This is a great tip, thank you!
Are the pine boards the same as battens?
Loved
Love it !
Happy to hear it!
Beautiful! Was that mdf board?
They’re primed pine boards 😊😊
Beautiful!! Girl what color are your walls ? Is it grey color?
Thank you! Yes it’s called City Loft from SW. ☺️
How many inches apart are the board batten?
Hi! What did you use for hanging the coats?
We bought some wall hooks from Amazon
You did a great job. Love your decorating style
How tall are those strips, 4ft?
Did Home Depot make your cuts for you?
Does it have to be pinewood or any type wood will do?
I think there are a few different woods could work here, but I did enjoy working with these primed boards, it made painting it so much easier. Of course, you could always prime any wood yourself to get that same convenience. 😊
Love it!@
Did u have textured walls?
What is the measurement of your ledge?
What is the height?
A better option for hiding those plastic screw fasteners is to use quick set (20 or 40 min mud) rather than speckle.
Молодец. А я думала, что только русские женщины сами ремонт делают.
hahaha thanks!
Beautiful!
Beautiful! You did a great job on your camera work too! It was very easy to see everything you were doing.
Great Job and beautiful !
Love it!
