Yes. This is a compilation of all the cleaning at his house so people didn't have to search each one. But yes, in his new house, he has done much better keeping it clean.
@@CleanFreakGermaphobe I've also watched the other videos. Seeing the floor transformation was completely, one hundred percent insane. You guys did such a great job. It is so wonderful that you did this huge clean up. My problem is,why did it take so long for him to receive help. It took 14 years to have family give him loving care. I hope this is a reminder to everyone. Look after your elderly family, friends and neighbors. ❤
@@jenanderson5255 Same thing here. My elderly mom hates to clean but also won't let anyone else do it. So when I stay there I sneakily do it when she's out. 🤫
I could hear in his answer that he is not going to clean. As long as he has not got help for his depression and mourning and does not stop smoking, things will not change.
Great video. Thanks for helping the widower. I'd like to suggest the next time ya need to scrub a floor, use a paint scaper on the dry gunk then sweep up the contents and place in trash. This has helped me quite a few times over the years (and i don't have to constantly buy more cleaning products). Stay safe and be well.
The wall behind the stove in the house I rent is faux brick, that they painted white. It had years of accumulation of grease and food and I could never get it clean. I must have tried 10 different degreasers and cleaners. I was scrubbing the wall over the sink (next to the stove) I had a scrub brush and some ajax (like comet powder) I ran it along the edge of the fake brick while cleaning the wall and it left a white streak. I grabbed a bucket of clean water the ajax and my scrub brush and scrubbed until that brick was white. Amazing stuff.
This was a dramatic improvement, and obviously a labor of love! Another excellent job!!! I hate to even mention this, but the top surface on many/most stoves lifts up, and whatever the top looks like is typically repeated to a major extent under that top. I know there isn't time for showing all the work that was done in a brief video, but hopefully, you were able to clean up the hidy hole under the top.
The top of most electric stoves does indeed lift up, but with a gas stove, it’s an entirely different story, and can cause huge damage to the gas lines, if not done in the proper order, when disassembling the top! Learned from experience
I have a gas stove/over. The top does life up. Mine is older and has a vent on the top to let the heat out of the oven. My 29 yr old didn't know and left a plastic bag on top and it started to melt while roasting some veggies.
I been using Ammonia to clean my stove grates. It's part of Speing Cleaning I place them in a trash bag sit in a tote, pour ammonia some water and dawn, let it sit outside over night. ❤
It's sad how most mens life will just fall apart on every side after the death of their wife. But, women tend to thrive after the death of their husband. I thinks that's because women (of the boomer gen) do all the household chores and the men don't. So, mens homes and hygiene just fall apart after she dies. But women carry on with those chores, if not have less of them, now that's he's passed.
I found this 25 years ago. I put the vent filter in the sink with Totally Awesome and it came out looking new. It's not as strong as it was back then, but it still works
I'm in my 50's, but my mom and a couple of other army wives used to clean quarters - homes - of other service members who moved to different states. They used trash bags and ammonia in them to clean stoves/ovens and the parts. Left them in the bags over night tho. I was a pre teen and I had to go with them 🙎🏿. They also used lye on somethings.
Idk if you have one but i think adding a floor squeegee would probably be a great thing to add to your tools. It would have helped with that floor, and maybe a dust pan to pick up the yuk so you dont need to use so much to wipe it up.
I always use the same process for cleaning but I never use rags or paper towels to wipe the sludge off, I used a plastic putty knife, regular putty knife or razor blade (depending on the surface) It saved me so much time and money. It was also faster and easier.
why not? it couldn't be any worse than the chemicals in food, "vaccines" or chemtrails. at least the water is treated, albeit with fluoride , but i digress.
I wish I knew these tricks when I moved into my first rental house. The appliances were so caked with muck that I got a move-in discount. It took hours of scrubbing on each to get them clean.

That floor definitely needs a heavy duty scrub brush / deck mop
You can put the top stove grates inside the self cleaning oven and run it through its cycle. Works like magic.

I'd use a squeegee. A long one, like for business windows.
You should Not be putting the floor chemicals in the water system , put in in the trash

Why wash all that grease down the sink , that’s daft, especially after cleaning it.

That would be a major soak. You’re not putting enough products on it. Too much scrubbing- great job on that stove but that floor!?!?!
That's what we found at the end. Letting it sit overnight worked like a charm
Great job!
Cheap and easier to retile
I've seen others using oven cleaner on thick greasy surfaces - is that also ammonia?

Yeah the Saran Wrap is a game changer ❤️
Lawn bags cover more space. Cut open and place to keep cleaners moist.

Steel pads are too small.
