This was the first ever Shangri-La brand film. The release of this film was a small "revolution" in the world of communication. To this day, this humanist film is considered a benchmark of disruptive communication in tourism and luxury hotels, because it was the first to translate a brand philosophy, rather than just showing "catalogue" images of hotels and swimming pools... It also plays with notions of danger and suspense that are usually banned from the often sanitised world of advertising. The film has also won over 30 international awards, including 2 Cannes Lions, and has had a significant impact on audiences across Asia. The music is by multi-award winning film composer Bruno Coulais.
