Id imagon the radur branch will be the one via Fairwater as the service pattern until recently (due to the south wales metro works), was a service between coryton and radyr via cardiff central via city line (Fair water route). So im guessing thats the link to Radur that they will use (itd be nice to have the cathays section as well)
I've always said that the Valley Lines would make an excellent route for TSW. So many different ways to go and a very varied landscape. It's a bit of a shame that they're only doing the Cardiff section and not any of the valleys themselves. It's also a shame they chose to just do the Penarth branch and not go to Barry Island. It would have been great to drive over the causeway and see the heritage railway. But I know how much work something like this is so I'm still happy about the coverage. My only real criticism is the name. It's a bit of a mouthful. Something like Cardiff Commuter would have been so much better than a literal description of the extent of the route in Welsh.
@@tibsie I imagine if it sells well we'll see more Welsh content. This feels a bit like an experiment. During my UK trip I very much enjoyed the more relaxed pace of Wales. I would like to see some of the more seaside stuff and while I know they'd never do it Tallylyn would be cool.

@@christopherlloyd-roberts2205 seems logical, this is a network with opportunity to grow so I guess we'll see what happens
I do hope that the GWR class 43 layer on as well as the EWS 66 for more variation at cardiff central.
It would be nice, I don't remember if this is DTG or 3rd party, that can influence layers.
@@trainsimulatordriver I think this route is DTG
Yes it is

Looks to be a good route for service variation. Do you think it will go via Danescourt as well, or just the route via Llandaf (from Radur)?
I really don't know, this is the most detailed information we've seen
@@trainsimulatordriver Yeah, really not telling us much
@chandlerbstransport422 nope, I got more from the map
