I have spoken to our vet and a few other horse professionals about this however, I would like some more opinions on this. I have a rising 9 yo OTTB gelding, who I've had for 4 years now. Up until Nov 2017, he was in his own paddock- 1 to 2 acres, with companions next door. Now he's in 20 acres with a herd, natural shade, natural water and hills. Beautiful paddock (land wise). He gets copre with HYGAIN Balanced with supplements and turmeric. He no longer gets hay or chaff. Chaff- he would refuse to eat and get really snippy when force fed. And hay he just walks away from. As I mentioned, I've spoken to our vet and a few other horse trainers about this and none of us are understanding why. Our vet says that he may not like chewing something like hay anymore as he may be getting enough from the paddock. We had teeth checked and done, as well as annual check up, and nothing has made a difference. He was in the quarantine yard for 3 weeks due to injury and has lost weight and topline, has been gradually coming back thankfully (he looked so good finally). I honestly haven't been too worried as we're in a drought right now but this video reminded me. Should I continue figuring out why he won't eat hay at home? What else could be causing this if not digestive system or teeth? (he works 45min, 6 days a week. 4 days of liberty/tricks, 2 days of jump combos, and gets fed his dinner/breakfast mix 7 days a week- breakfast when he comes in from the field for the night and dinner an hour later when I'm putting rug/s on-simply because he's the only one who gets fed and the herd was getting quite aggressive in the morning- he's in for the night as he wears bell boots that had started rubbing couple months back. smaller area + alone = no running = not so much over reaching = no lost shoes)

Signs that a horse could need injections? People have suggested I get my horse looked at but I don’t really know what signs to look for

AdroitFalu you need a vet to look at your horse. Also if you want them to answer you need to use # askthevetvideo
