The Lions did overhaul their defense. All new CBs including Davis( a Superbowl winning man specialist. A first round pick in Arnold. A second round pick in Rakestraw. And a GRITty cb in Robertson to play nickel allowing Brian Branch to play more safety with Kirby Joseph and Melifonwu. Two young ascending linebackers in Jack Campbell and Derek Barnes to go along with Anzalone who has played better every year. Plus they added DJ Reeder and Marcus Davenport to the line replacing Isaiah Buggs and the Okwora brothers which are clear upgrades to the defense that ranked 2nd against the run in 23. The defense this video claims needs to be overhauled could be one of the top 10 defenses in the league this year.
Their defensive line is already terrifying. The linebacker core is likely to keep improving. And the secondary is looking great. I wouldn’t be surprised if their defense is a top 3 unit in the league. Same with the offense, maybe top 5, that running game is terrifying, the o-line can block efficiently all game, and that passing game is insane. I predict a 14-3 record.
They proved that they can run with the big boys last year by almost defeating the 49ers and going against us and to be truthful I wouldn’t have been unhappy if they had made it and won against us!!!
I pray our defense is better, but 2 of the 4 cbs you listed are rookies and could be turds and sadly we didn't really address our lack of pass rushing outside of hutch. I know we signed davenport, but he really isn't that good
Baker Mayfield almost had 300 passing yards on them in the playoffs Baker Mayfield is not a top 10 quarterback 😂
@dariusstewart6775 he had 300 passing yards on a completely different secondary, and Baker is around the 15th best
the ravens one is kinda unfair, football is a team game, cant fully blame lamar for everything when it comes to losing
Thank you 🙏🏻 it wasn’t his choice to not run the ball that game, cough cough harbs
Josh Allen gets the blame despite playing much better in the playoffs, so why wouldn't Lamar?
Lamar also had a better, healthier team, a 1st round bye, and was the MVP of the league, right? Then he played even worse against the Chiefs, while throwing into triple coverage to lose the game.
@corey2232 I don't think any one player should get the blame im not singling out lamar, I'm responding the tps's reason for the ravens
@@corey2232 Except the difference as history has shown is the Bills have had several chances and have blown it every year, they lost 3 divisional rounds in a row since 2020 and it’s not like Josh Allen has ever won an MVP or anything. Joe Burrow is the only QB other than Tom Brady to beat Mahomes in the Playoffs rn, but the funny thing is Lamar is 3-1 against Burrow in fully healthy games
Also even though Lamar is 2-4 in the playoffs, at least it seems like every time he’s made an appearance he gets 1 step better
Sorry Ravens fans, you don't get to have the MVP as your QB and only score 10 points in a playoff game and not have it be the QBs fault.
Lamar won MVP, and then lost in the playoffs while only scoring 10 points! That's not ok. And that is on Lamar.
I don't think Cowboys or Browns fans would need any reason 😂😅
W glaze
Agreed
The browns is not fair?
At this point I consider the Ravens = Cowboys 😂
@@v0LkEN88 atleast we made a championship game lmao

Video idea: Why every NFL team has a chance of winning Super Bowl 59
Fun fact: one of these reasons is wrong because one team will win.
We need some Zach Moss Love, future 1000 yard rusher
True, but that Joe Mixon role is hard to replace.
Coulda just put Jerry Jones as the Cowboys reason ngl
So the packers head coach is the problem but the Texans is just “Diggs might pout on the field” really?
Are you new here? TPS is known for shit takes and being biased as fuck about some teams and overly rude and unfair to others

Yeah. One year is honestly wild. I don’t know what TPS expects from a first-year starter. Plus, if anyone, Jordan Love handed the Niners the game. Throwing a pick by just rolling out and saying “Fuck it!” doesn’t help.
Video idea: Best NFL families of all time
Mannings and Watts and maybe diggs.
Jags added arik armstead to compliment josh allen and an emerging travon walker on their d line? In what world is that a bad pass rush bro ian even a jags fan that was just stupid
Top 10 opening drive plays.
The lions did overhaul their defense. I swear TPS doesn’t keep up with free agency or the draft
I like how the lions are they need a defensive overhaul wait a minute didn’t we just do that with our d line and secondary ya knwo the glaring pot holes in the defense
Well said going for it so much would have made way more sense
Hard disagree about the Bengals. If they don't win it's because Burrow got hurt, not because of not having Mixon. The only way the Bengals lose the superbowl due to not having Mixon is if they make it to the superbowl and the RB core fumbles multiple times.
yeah ngl mixon has been really overrated ever since 2021
@@TheUltraRaven zack moss gon go crazy got him 1.5k yards
Without the Aaron Rodgers drama, the Jets ownership is a mess and they need to be replaced by competent new New York City owners who'll turn it around and become successful for a long time
The Ravens case for not winning can best be described by this term. BEATING THEMSELVES! And this isn’t just about Lamar this goes for the entire team. That and if the NFL doesn’t want anyone to ever make it past Taylor Swift.
Took the words right outta my mouth
The nfl is not scripted it’s competitive
@@lfy24964 Yeah that’s why it’s listed as Sports Entertainment and not Competitive Sports
Faxxxx yeah Lamar throw a dumb pass into triple coverage but imagine if the ravens came into with a game plan to RUN THE BALL like the best rushing team they are😮
@@dcyungin202 The issue in that game as to why they didn't run the ball is because the Offensive Line got absolutely killed by the Chiefs' Defensive Front. Their gameplan was to run the ball, the problem was that other than one run by Gus Edwards, KC stuffed us on nearly every running play. (Plus they were giving the Ravens so many different looks compared to what they saw on film from the week before. But to be fair, KC does that to everyone) That and the Ravens were up against more than a 53-man roster and 20 coaches. There was no way that the NFL was letting them or anyone else during that postseason make it past the Chiefs because of the ratings they were getting from the Taylor Swift audience.
I’m so tired of people blaming the Ravens organization problems on Lamar Jackson when there’s way more going on that people are too blind to acknowledge. It wasn’t Lamar’s decision to not run the ball at all in that game
10:04 he hit puberty for the second time with that voice crack lol
Love your video TPS and keep up the great work you are awesome
TPS CLEARLY missed the draft this year. The Lions defense is now locked and loaded and ready for the sport’s biggest stage #onepride
They just aren’t smart with the Lions at all. They said that they should trade Jameson Williams in their “Players that each team should trade before the season starts” video, saying that he wasn’t needed at all because they have LaPorta, St-Brown, Montgomery and Gibbs, as well as Goff. They hate the Lions and I have yet to find out why
@@Curdled_Moriph Yep. Pretty sure I commented on that video as well
@@Curdled_Moriph they want the lions to be cursed for 50 years again istg
@@TheUltraRaven Fr they have the worst takes on them
Oh holes in defense? THE FUCK YOU MEAN THEY HAVE A TOP 2 DEFENCE IN THE 2024-2025 SEASON!
I think the Packers will make it to the NFC championship. If they can make it to the Super Bowl they will win it.
Keep dreaming, sorry but they’re not better than the Lions.
Would The NFL let that happen though? (no hate)
@Kravis63 yikes what a bad comment
Their current qb hasn’t won one yet so I agree.
@@glimpse5038 I’m sorry who is the defending division champions, and who won more playoff games last year? That’s right…. The Lions did.
Just because ESPN still contractually slobbers all over the Packers doesn’t make it true they are as good as the Lions.
Saying the Lions Defense needs a complete overhaul is a big stretch. They had one of the best run defenses in the league last season, it's specifically the secondary that needs work.
5:54 I think the take on the chiefs here is just the magnitude of games catch up with them. They have been to the afc game or better the last 6 or so years playing a lot more game a than than everyone else. Not that it has t been done but this is why
It’s definitely a realistic take. The Chiefs have been playing 19-21 games a year since 2018. That’s basically an entire extra season of games. Not sure whether it gives them extra experience, or leaves them more worn out & susceptible to injury.
Detroit Lions...holes in the defense....before the off-season, yes. Since then, they have filled in those holes and perhaps it would be more on lack of productivity
The Bengals you don’t need Joe Mixon in order to beat the Chiefs because they have Zack Moss and hopefully a healthy Joe Burrow
Don't forget about Chase Brown. He will surprise people.

“It’s hard to get 3 in a row, because it’s hard to get 3 in a row” nice job 👍🏻👍🏻
Video idea: The one real reason that every NFL Team HAS a chance to win the Super Bowl…?!
Maybe not just like, “because the team is good,” but like in this video, it could be because of a trade, a QB, uprise in the franchise, etc.
This would be a cool video in my opinion! 🔥
I love how the title says real reasons then proceeded by you constantly giving your opinion lmao
Video idea. What non quarterback being injured or retired would prevent a team from winning a superbowl.
Sometimes a player makes all of it happens.
Example: aaron donald for the Rams. As retired.
Qbs out for the season mess up everything.
The lions very much did overhaul their defense. Their 2 biggest defensive weaknesses, Dline and Secondary, got a few big additions. DJ Reader, Marcus Davenport, and Mathew Betts on the Dline. Hutch, Alim McNeil, DJ Reader, and Marcus Davenport sounds great. CB has amazing depth, with the additions of Terrion Arnold, Carlton Davis, Ennis Rakestraw, and Amik Robertson. And with Emmanuel Mosley healthy (hopefully), the lions secondary is greatly improved. LIONS SB 2024
To be fair the jags added armstead. He’s arguably the most disruptive dt since Donald retired, their dline should be good. I’d say Trevor’s holding them back more👀
It’ll be good vibes in the Texans locker room tho, hopefully
as a titans fan, firing vrabs was the best thing for the organization. no way run, run then pass wins a super bowl
Stefon Diggs is the real Diva's version of Moss and Owens! 5:00
I mean im not saying my Colts will win the Superbowl but the fact nobody even considers they can make a payoff push actually boggles my mind Richardson is a wild card yes but he is determined to stay on the field this year and our young nucleus is something to be concerned about for other teams in the AFC especially
I love that the Chiefs’ reason boils down to “they’ve already been too good.” 😂
Threepeat incoming. Suffering through Deberg, Bono, Grbac, etc. is paying off in spades!
The Lions addressed the holes in their defense that plagued them last season
I think the real reason they won’t win the SB is because of an early bye week which is week 5 for them
Can key players stay healthy enough to play 12 weeks after that plus the playoffs?
I’m not sure, that’s tough to do in football
Yeah, if everybody was gunning for the Chiefs over the past few years, this year should easily top them all. My concern about injuries stacking up is already at an all-time high. And in avoiding injuries, they might start playing too conservatively in the regular season to even get to the postseason
One day i need to see a Ravens vs Eagles SB
cause if it happens greenhouse academy might come to watch this game
Cowboys winning the super bowl this year
Its about damn time.

Next video idea: the one real reason why favorite nfl team has a chance of winning Super Bowl lix
If you are a Ravens Fan the Chiefs is now your Kryptonite! 1:40
nuh uh
Lifelong Saints fan and Sean Payton’s best came after the Super Bowl. 2017 on seemed a lot like he was making necessary changes for an inevitable aging HOF QB. Defense, running game, slant game.. that helped Drew so much vs when he was always relied upon to outscore his opponents.
As a Niner fan, I hate how true our reason is
this video is peak off-season material
still liking the video in hopes giants win the superbowl! hahahahahahah
I'm a Giants fan. It doesn't matter they still stink. It's just a matter of time before Jones gets injured.
Giants: no saquon
Sean McDermott cant win the big one. While true to this point they used to say the same thing about Andy Reid. Then he won one... Then two more..
Gotta play the games, folks..
10:30 as A Seahawks fan I can Absolutely agree there. It’s going to take some time. But we’re growing.
As a Steelers fan I don't believe that not by a damn longshot cause Russell Wilson is NOT I REPEAT NOT a cancer it's just that he needs to be a better QB be a man be a leader be a consistent QB and be true to yourself and teammates too! 9:22
You can make the argument that Sean Payton was the reason he struggled in Denver. Also his stats were still better than any of our other QB’s last year and we still got in the postseason. I’d imagine if we had a QB with his stats we probably would’ve done better.
Everything is correct. I would also add if Bryce Young doesn’t get his act together or do whatever he did so good in college, then I would add him as another reason why the Panthers won’t win a Super Bowl. But I do believe the Panthers will show improvement compared to last year
3:02 “they haven’t made any moves to find a suitable replacement” as he shows the signing of said replacement
I’m a Bengals fan, I hated Mixon, I love moss
The Jags biggest problem being their D-Line is laughable. Allen and Walker are a top 5 pass rushing duo, and Foyesade Oluokun led the league in solo tackles. What about their O-Line or secondary? My goodness, TPS has some awful takes sometimes
They always do
Sometimes? More like every video. This channel is garbage compared to how it was a couple+ years ago
I like how the only thing they could come up with for the Chiefs was "because it's hard" 🤣🤣🤣
True. Just because historically it hasn’t been able to happen doesn’t mean it can’t. I believe TPS is on record saying we have never seen someone like Mahomes.
Let’s be honest here truly about the Titans, instead of what TPS thinks…
The real reason the titans don’t have a shot isn’t because of the Vrabel firing, it’s because they are an unconfirmed team in the Texan run AFC South with 3 other good teams. That’s why people are scared to give them credit where in their roster there is very few holes
Firing Vrabel was one of the strangest coaching moves I'd seen, probably since the Harbough or Lovey Smith firings. A team who hasn't had much success gets a coach that everyone likes to stabilize the team and get enough wins to break long postseason droughts... Then fire them before their labors are realized.
Long postseason droughts? They went 9-8 for 4 years before Vrabel came along! They made it to the wildcard for YEARS without him and the success he brought lasted for 2 years before things came crashing down for that organization
@@The_Narrator615 i think ur high or smth, vrabel was hired in 2018, not 2020
@@TheUltraRaven Look at the year my guy, also I would suggest you take back that statement because you would have just called a 17 year old kid high. Not the best statement in the world is it
For credibility, Vrabel was hired in 2018, they went 9-8, same as the past 2 years, 2019 their most successful season where they went… 9-8. 2020 their statistical best season where they went 11-6, and 2021 where things started to go bad. Those 2 years where vrabel led to any change from how it already was, was 2019 and 2020. 2 years of doing a single thing different to this team
@@The_Narrator615 you said before vrabel was hired
@@TheUltraRaven it was a mistype on my part, 2 years before vrabel was hired, not 4 years
Lions need a complete defensive overhaul? What do you think they were doing all winter.
I mean yeah some of this makes perfect sense.
It’s kinda funny the chiefs one is just the fact it’s insane to try and go for a 3peat and I’m a chiefs fan. All my life.
And personally, I think Texans are gunna come in swinging.
All the new weapons they have. If stroud gets into a comfortable stride. It could turn into a Texans team that was like the 19 chiefs.
They don’t have to out play you,
They just have to play a game of long catch with the receivers. That Texans team looks to be tough.
But of course. Everyone has their own teams and own opinions.
We will just have to see how it all shakes out in the end.
Could be a really interesting season.
Lol you forgot Chiefs ultimate power..the Swift! All they need to do is just announcing Kelce and Swift's engagement/wedding on NFL turf, it all locked and over for the other 31 teams.
I never understood the hate for the Falcons drafting Penix. This year’s quaterback class is one of the best in recent years and Cousins was never a long term solution.
If Cousins is/was never a long term solution, then they shouldn't have signed him to a 4 year 100 million dollar guaranteed deal.
@@thadcastle661 The same reasoning that makes some guys think they could win a NASCAR race driving their grandmother's Buick. Going cheap is expensive.
@alabamaal225 nah, more like they spent $180 million on a Buick, then went and got a Corvette to sit pretty in their garage 🤷🏻♂️
The Kyler Murray slander needs to stop. You could have said some of the stuff a few years ago, but why can't he grow and evolve as a franchise QB. He's got the work ethic.
As a die hard Cowboys fan I can confirm that since 1995, the postseason has been my nightmare.
Sean Payton in my real honest opinion is NOT overrated! 4:00
Says the Bengals didn't do "anything" to replace Mixon while showing the free agent signing of Zach Moss. Personally, if the Bengals have a repeat of 2023, finishing last in the North and missing the playoffs, that will stop them.
The AFC North is rough. Any of the four teams could potentially miss out on the playoffs.
They were rolling before Burrow got hurt
@@brotheldan2009 they were 5-4 before burrow got hurt, not really rolling
@@TheUltraRaven they had just beat the shit out of the 49ers and just won 3 in a row
No offense but these reasons are so dumb 🤦♂️
The number of people saying Payton is denvers issue is insane. Denvers' issue is that their team lacks real talent at almost every position. Ecen if Wilson had worked out that was still true. They mortgaged their already shaky future for Wilson and it blew up in their face.
Yeah, Wilson was not bad last year, as TPS says he was. They were threatening to bench him even after the win in KC unless he restructured his contract. Payton pretty much drove him out of town
Call me crazy but Sean Payton is literally the only reason we have a chance at a Super Bowl this year 😂
@@PrinceOfDuval16 wilson couldn’t complete a pass over the middle of the field. If anything, Payton managed to boost Wilson’s stats to look decent. If you watched Broncos games, which I don’t blame you if you didn’t, you’d know how ass Wilson was

Rodgers definitely won’t end the jets season bc of “drama”. If anything he gets injured again but hopefully that doesn’t happen. I want to see what he does with an actually good team
Uhh did u forget the 17 seasons before he was a jet?
Rodgers is 40 and returning from a torn Achilles and playing his home games on the field where he tore it.
Vrabel needed to go! He was stuck in the Belichik ways of coaching, and he wasn't going to get out of it anytime soon!
Vrabel made the titans look watchable😑
What was worth watching? Run run pass? Oh henry isn't in thats a pass, henry is in thats a run maybe a play action. Vrable didn't believe in throwing the ball. @arpenate3878
@@arpenate3878That’s comedy, when so many people said the titans were not watchable under Vrabel. Soon as Levis came along and did what he did with Hopkins people started to tag along. Getting rid of vrabel and hiring Callahan caused the focus to shift on gaining receivers and throwing the ball instead of running it down people’s throats
Which in many peoples eyes is so much more interesting than run run pass, or run, play action, run
@@vegeta2522 why the fuck wouldn't you run when you have derrick fucking henry
@@The_Narrator615 again, if you have derrick fucking henry, you're running the damn ball
Not risky play calling for the Lions? I feel like the defense is more solid this season
Speaking as a Cowboys fan, you really can't say the Eagles have secondary woes anymore. They have Slay, they brought back CDJ, and drafted Mitchell and DeJean. Who, in my opinion, were the 2 best CBs in the draft. And the Eagles stole DeJean in the 2nd round
No the real reason the Vikings won't win the Super Bowl is they'll either be starting Sam Darnold or JJ McCarthy at QB. Darnold flat out sucks in the NFL and McCarthy is a rookie who needs time to develop.
As soon as I saw Kyler Murray as the cardinals reason I knew this wasn’t serious
It's impressive how you managed to reduce it to only one reason for teams like Panthers, Titans, Commaders etc.
The Bears have a better shot of winning the Super Bowl then the Colts, the Browns, the Rams, the Vikings, the Seahawks, the Buccaneers, the Steelers, the Cardinals, the Titans, the Patriots, the Raiders, the Broncos and the Panthers tied with the Falcons and the Jaguars that’s crazy
I think Kyler is franchise worthy he just needs a way better team around him
Bold prediction: OROY= Xavier worthy , OPOY= Hollywood Brown, DPOY= Chris Jones, DROY= Hicks, MVP & SB.MVP= Mahomes, Coach of the year= Andy Reid. Chiefs finish 20-0, 3-peat.
I’m very curious what’s TPS favorite team
TPS is so wrong about Geno Smith its actually funny. The Oline and defense was clearly the problem last year. Geno was the REASON we won games
As a Carolina fan, no doubt it’s Tepper. As an NFL watcher, it feels foolish to bet against the Chiefs, but it’s just hard for me to see an NFL team 3-peating in this era.
Not gonna lie I didn't need a reason for the browns
Add untrustworthy coaching to the Saints' problems and the Saints part would be on spot...
Dolphins real reason: Jalen Ramsey choking
Vikings literally have one game before they have a home game. It literally says vs SF so that’s a home game
There's no real "quarterback controversy" in Atlanta. Three points:
1. Cousins is "the Man" until he's shown not to be.
2. Penix was picked in the draft first round as a strategic move for the future. Cousins was never seen as the long-term solution. If Cousins is successful, taking the Falcons into the playoffs, the team would be "rewarded" with a #25+ draft pick. What "Quarterback-Of-The-Future" are you going to get with that?
3. When it comes to strategic moves, most sports writers/commentators/UA-cam sites don't know [brown organic matter] from Shinola.

I thought with the Packers he'd go for the lazy "Love is a one season wonder." But no, he went with the real reason. It's going to take a couple more painful playoff losses for the rest of the Packers fans to realize the truth about MLF. Specifically he can't make adjustments, if plan A doesn't work there is no plan B or C, things just fall apart.
