TBH most of the screenshots aren't even that blurry. Growing up with these Disney Shows I was always low-key jealous that the girl characters had all these cool outfits while the guys were stuck with the most bland, generic outfits. I know guys aren't as into fashion as girls but the Disney stylists could have tried better. The early 2000s was rough for the fellas. I know Fedoras are fashion sacrilege but I think London actually pulls them off.
Yeah it’s about 720p, so it’s ok, but head to toe screenshots have no room to see details😭 I agree, guys had the blandest looks imaginable. Zack and Cody were styled differently from each other, which is at least something, but their looks are not interesting in general. Also london definitely pulls off fedoras as much as they can be pulled off, I just don’t love them(especially in the fabrics they used)
Tbh even if they did wear the same outfits (eg: Cody in sweaters, Zack in patterened shirts) they had more personality than other disney channel boy's fashion. Like compare Zack's outfits from Suite Life to On Deck, what a downgrade.
This era of Disney channel was the reason I was obsessed with wearing dresses with jeans, did I look ridiculous from time to time, I bet I did BUT I remember always feeling cool and thats more important. I need to get that mentality back
One of my favorite things about Suite Life styling is how they handled Maddie’s style. I think it would’ve been so easy to dress her like the awkward/unfashionable/introverted academic type to be the polar opposite of London, but instead they gave her outfits that are still really cute and stylish though maybe a little less “in your face” than London’s. It gave me, a little academic girl from modest means, the inspiration to wear cute things and not feel weird about it. Which is maybe giving it too much credit? But I do think the achievability of Maddie’s style in general while still being stylish and cute was so great. Later Disney shoes tended to lean into the weirdly dressed trope for one of the main girls (which I also love!!!!), but I think that would’ve done her a huge disservice.
14:19 that's not a chopstick, it's a kanzashi, a japanese hair pin. It became popular around the mid 90s when japonism in fashion was very in with Issey Miyake, Kenzo, among others
at 3:40 a faint buzz starts and continues until 23:00 when the ending starts. unfortunately very distracting on headphones. i love your work and maybe it isnt as noticeable if played out loud
Yeah idk if it was the mic or my laptop(it’s on its last legs and the connection might’ve been busted), but it’s not noticeable on speakers to compare to headphones
I was manifesting this video so tysm❤. I feel like a Jessie Fashion Video would be very cool because it has some 2010 goals and regrets in it. Especially with Jessie and Emma. There are also some interestingly styled side characters. Just a thought though
14:17 we do use a stick for an updo hairstyle. but it's a singular stick, rather than a set of chopstick lol.. maybe people in the west are the one who starts making it two sticks instead of one to make it look like a chopstick on purpose, for aesthetic..? idk..
ok i mostly totally agree but the sporty fedora London look?? ugg i love it! i think its so good... like obvi they were on a budget and the quality wasnt there, but imagine a real rich girl wearing that look & the pearls are fully real and shes wearing them with the bedazzled jersey she got from some basketball game she got courtside seats to but didnt even care to watch?? and the fedora to top it off? i think the fedora which has been co-opted by gross incel guys, gets such a fashion slay moment when it is worn by a hot flirty rich girl fr
I like to say l was low key envious of London's outfits? I love her hats. The scarves are so puffy. I love the light pink outfi isn't so adorable. I don't even know which episode it was from. She has an eye for color and she has werid accessories in hair, the necklaces are nice and especially her L necklace. Why did she stopped wearing The L necklace?
5:51 This is more in line with what we actually wore back then. In fact, a lot of Maddie's "plainer" outfits are. Of course things wouldn't work quite right- can't afford it. Similar to all of us buying pre-made stuff at the mall. And the flare jeans tucked into the boots... classic
I love all these videos!! They are so fun and always make my day better. 😊💖 I remember I used to think the disney styling was what top notch fashion looked like, they were always so fun, colorful, and had quirky layering (of course some outfits were better than others). I especially liked their accessories, idk the sparkles always looked so good on camera.✨
This was definitely a fun time for fashion. For Disney shows especially. I love characters like London and seeing what they wear. It does also make me want to accessorize more, a thing I've never done lol. Male characters don't seem to get a lot of love in the fashion department though. Not just for this show, but in general most of the time.
Disney Channel has done a lot of crimes fashion against humanity, also the early 2000s were very weird and experimental, it was a really fun time, so the clothes are going to look a bit out of place. But the early 2yk clothes were all extra tight, that's why they may look unflattering to the body shape.
fr let Maddie cook 👏 I'm from Panama and I grew up watching this show, I was a huge Maddie fan (yes, biased and what about it 🤧) so I'd try to copy her looks and in this tropical weather I looked crazy with all the layers and looking at the outfits now they looked kinda crazy tbh but as you said smh they work!
the way i felt disgusted by most of maddie's looks bc i h8 blue jeans. its probably what made me h8 2000s fashion so much. i also love outfits that look vile but feel cohesive. but i h8 the layering from the 2000s. so purposeless. give me ashley tisdale on the red carpet not maddie with off colour tops & blue jeans :P
ayyy congrats on the sponsor! I feel a crap ton of things have lost their whimsy : clothes, cars, buildings, packagings, websites... it's all simple, in neutral colors or greyscale, empty. Where did the colors go, the details, the fun... What's with americans naming people as cities tho? London? Paris? Flowers, ok, fruits, alright, but cities??? ok I talk too much
I think London is not common like Paris as a name, but they were parodying Paris Hilton so I guess they decided to go for another city ahaha and I agree about lack of details and colour, it's so dreary
Hey I think these outfits have a certain aesthetic to them that I like for some reason. Maybe because I loved this show as a kid. Compared to most stuff from Disney, I prefer shows like this. Suite life of Zack & Cody/On Deck, Good Luck Charlie, Liv & Maddie, Austin & Ally, Bear in the big blue house...even that A.N.T show whatever it was called. I wish we could go back to this era! Like, the era where Disney channel had fun shows for kids and didn't care about all the political stuff or sneaking dirty jokes. Also, the shows were for COMEDY and the teens acted like actual teens. Like, they weren't talking about sex all the time, they were doing crazy things like when Moseby taught London how to drive and they tried to break Cody out of that math camp, that was genius writing! Also, the outfits they designed for London work perfectly since she's the out-of-touch rich girl who's obsessed with sparkles (we see in Suite life on Deck, the spin off, we see her become more ditsy and obsessed with sparkly things more than in Suite life of Zack & Cody). She's obviously lso really more obsessed with fashion in Suite life on Deck than Suite life of Zack & Cody. Also, Shake it Up had some wild fashion too. I feel like Good luck Charlie was one of the few shows where the characters dressed more normal, maybe to fit in more with the aesthetic of the show. Like, a normal mid-class teen girl is going to dress different than a super rich girl who lives at a fancy hotel in Boston.

2000's clothes are so playfull, the colors, the textures, the layers and silhouettes. Just watching this video fills me with inspiration
honestly same, it really stirred something in my brain ahaha
TBH most of the screenshots aren't even that blurry.

My girl watch My babysitters a vampire unironic slay in the guys and girls outfits
Thanks for this video! I loved Suite Life and On deck as a kid!!!!
are you loco zack and codys outfits were fire
Tell me why I was waiting for a segment of you rating the Twins’ outfits 😂
They’re all the same 😭😭 ahah
Tbh even if they did wear the same outfits (eg: Cody in sweaters, Zack in patterened shirts) they had more personality than other disney channel boy's fashion. Like compare Zack's outfits from Suite Life to On Deck, what a downgrade.
I never realized how fun the fashion was in this show, I mainly focused on the goofy situations the characters were in.
I remembered that london had a lot going on, but not the specifics, so it was fun to actually look at it properly!
Same LOL but as a kid I loved both the fashions and the goofy situations. It all fits perfectly tho
I remember really wanting Maddie's work/candy counter uniform back then because I thought it was so cute xD
OMG YES TO ANOTHER DISNEY DEEP DIVE ACADEMIC DISCOURSE! Also, London Tipton HAD STYLE. ASIAN-AMERICAN QUEEN 🔥
This era of Disney channel was the reason I was obsessed with wearing dresses with jeans, did I look ridiculous from time to time, I bet I did BUT I remember always feeling cool and thats more important. I need to get that mentality back
honestly I kinda vibe with it ahaha

pls cover the fashion in That's so Raven. the looks were ahead of it's time
She did it 😊
Yes she has playlist Fashion Crimes against humanity. There more then 10 videos 😀😀
I already have! You can find it on my channel or in a playlist
love the way the scrunchy matches with maddie's tie like a little "yeah something connects these two characters" moment 12:45 😍
Oh yeahhh I didn’t notice haha
London being very fashionable makes a lot of sense given she's meant to be a play on Paris Hilton
14:56 I remember even as a kid I was gagged at how good this outfit looked on London. Her hair looked really good too!
Ikr😭
Carrie is underrated. London is fabulous, though i wasn't really feeling most of her looks in Suite life on Deck.
Carrie had some greeeaaat looks and I’m glad she wasn’t put in bad outfits! Suite life on deck didn’t have any looks, I’m afraid
In the recent past, ‘Heartstopper’ did do a good job of styling teenagers like they would be.
London rocking slavic girl esthetic
ikr ahahah
14:19 that's not a chopstick, it's a kanzashi, a japanese hair pin. It became popular around the mid 90s when japonism in fashion was very in with Issey Miyake, Kenzo, among others
As far as I know, kanzashi is usually a single pin, and here it seems like they put actual chopsticks in haha
at 3:40 a faint buzz starts and continues until 23:00 when the ending starts. unfortunately very distracting on headphones. i love your work and maybe it isnt as noticeable if played out loud
Yeah idk if it was the mic or my laptop(it’s on its last legs and the connection might’ve been busted), but it’s not noticeable on speakers to compare to headphones
Hopefully I’ll have a new laptop soon(my screen is also broken on this one ahahah) and there will be no issues in the future
So happy for Lisa getting a ad integradion ❤
Rent is getting paid ladiesss!💃🏻
6:20 I so agree!! I miss that about fashion too.
As a kid I wanted London’s entire wardrobe and I still do
I was manifesting this video so tysm❤. I feel like a Jessie Fashion Video would be very cool because it has some 2010 goals and regrets in it. Especially with Jessie and Emma. There are also some interestingly styled side characters. Just a thought though
I haven’t watched it but I’ll look into it!

ok i mostly totally agree but the sporty fedora London look?? ugg i love it! i think its so good... like obvi they were on a budget and the quality wasnt there, but imagine a real rich girl wearing that look & the pearls are fully real and shes wearing them with the bedazzled jersey she got from some basketball game she got courtside seats to but didnt even care to watch?? and the fedora to top it off? i think the fedora which has been co-opted by gross incel guys, gets such a fashion slay moment when it is worn by a hot flirty rich girl fr
YES! London devoured ofc but Carrie ate too ❤️
girlie I iust gotta say, your outfit and makeup combination is so good!
Thank you🤍🤍
14:25 Chopsticks were very much 2000s Orientalism.
Oh yeah, 100%. Like it’s weird, it’s like wearing forks in hair. Ariel would approve, I guess

Hair sticks were worn as early as 1600 to 1050 B.C

4:58 Omg her red carpet looks are just wow omg what was in the water?
Idk ahahaha
I love all these videos!! They are so fun and always make my day better. 😊💖

Yes omg i honestly got a boost of creative energy from looking up these outfits ahah
she said return to form!
The og set up ahah
your videos literally give me life girl go on go on

So many fun outfits!!!!
Ikr, some of them are over the top but I’m here for it
17:52 This tie is cute :)
I like it too haha
Carrie's classic look that you like is so LORELAI GILMORE
Disney Channel has done a lot of crimes fashion against humanity, also the early 2000s were very weird and experimental, it was a really fun time, so the clothes are going to look a bit out of place.

I grew up watching the show dubbed in Hindi and there was an Indian remake of the show which was well rated.
Yeah I have heard of it!
fr let Maddie cook 👏 I'm from Panama and I grew up watching this show, I was a huge Maddie fan (yes, biased and what about it 🤧) so I'd try to copy her looks and in this tropical weather I looked crazy with all the layers and looking at the outfits now they looked kinda crazy tbh but as you said smh they work!
omg just thinking about all these layers in hot weather... you really said fashion first ahah
You are slaying those mini bangs oh my gosh. They look amazing on you.
Omg thank you🥰🥰
12:00 I like this choker
Haha I’m a huge fan of the Capri pants. It’s a great length.
Idk why but I’m always avoiding them like the plague, I feel like it suits a very limited amount of people/body types
I loved carpi pants! I need to get them again. They were always the perfect length for me and used to be my go to
Remember kids if its a disney channel show with normal styling then its not a disney channel show!
🗣 Thank you SKILLSHAREEE
Finally! UA-cam hasn’t recommended your videos to me in a while for some reason
Yeah it stopped showing me even to my subs ahahah
Congrats on 80 k girlllll 🎉🎉🎉🎉
thank you 🤍🤍🤍
You know who works a pair of capris? Me, I’m tall and leggy with cute ankles. My gift for never finding jeans long enough for my legs lolololol
I wish I had a friend with your personality to dress up and go to cute bougie cafes with to talk about cute outfits, shows, and fashion 😂
🤍🤍🤍
To me, they made her shiny because thats what SHE thought looked expensive, like an extra dumb joke
that makes sense, but they loved to do that for most rich girl/mean girl characters too haha
13:12 I like Capri pants :). But I think that this top is ugly and not fit with this pants. May be it should be shorter.
ily lisa❤
🤍🤍🤍😘😘😘
Wait... why is the Maddie look at 17:14 giving Alex from Wizards
London is why we all went around looking like we heisted goodwill back then😂
3:12 The 2000s are coming back so this is Anti-Cheugy Programming lol
not me watching this for fashion inspiration 🤓
As you should, I personally got quite a bit of inspo from these looks tbh ahaha
17:01 That’s So Suite Life of Hannah Montana.
Pleease critique the wardrobe from Hannah Montana- like I remember wanting most of her wardrobe and I want to see how deranged I was 😂
Nevermind y’all I found the video and I officially subscribed
the fedora won't ever come back cause of the misogynistic association both as a 50s look and the 00s internet shit
Honestly that might be why I have a visceral reaction to it ahahahha
These outfits just remind me of the outfits from the sims 2 😅 it’d be amazing if you could rate some outfits from the sims games
oh yeah I definitely should ahaha
10:04 It’s very much a Britney outfit. And now we hear she could’ve been in ‘The Notebook’.
Im gonna go relisten blackout
Nooo I wasnt expecting that NCT reference 😭😭😭😂
Legends have seen a bit of this video lol
The ogs ahaha
I love how sassy you are in this video 😂
Loveeeee this vid, but maybe next vid try to remove that background noise please! It’s like a dull electronic drone on sound the whole video :-(
love this!
🤍🥰
I have a feeling they couldn’t just put her on screen in a tube top so they had to layer with a tank top or something idk
what's up with the buzzzing in the audio?
omg i’m early?????
What was the song and 12:30?

no but srsly. a huge portion of 2000s fashion trends r horrendous. i want us 2 skip past so much of it unless ur going 4 something challenging.
Omg I love you so much❤❤❤ You are so cute💅😍😍😍
🥰😘
ayyy congrats on the sponsor!
