gloves are to protect the doctor, not the patient.

    A few things to consider:
    1. Infection control not sufficiently applied.
    2. Nose is covered when rubber dam is placed, which makes it difficult for the patient to breathe.
    3. The operator is not standing or sitting in an ergonomic position.
Other than that, This video will help me in my practical sessions.

I had a root canal on a baby tooth when I was six. Not a pleasant experience at all. The rubber dam scared me and the dentist doing the work was a really angry old man.

Even before there were gloves, they were using those god awful things. God, I hate rubber dams with a passion. I don't get all the glowing claims about how they helped patients relax etc. etc. They just made me claustrophobic and meant that I couldn't go to the bathroom if I should have to.
