If you go to the IK Multimedia site, each product has system requirements listed. Disk space is not very big for any of them. You can also check RAM, CPU, and other requirements there too
@hiladelphia AmpliTube Fender is a separately installed piece of software. It will show up within AmpliTube 3 though (but also functions on its own standalone and plugin). I recommend accessing it within AmpliTube 3 for all the extra features it gives.
@hiladelphia you can add AmpliTube Fender and Ampeg SVX and they will open within AmpliTube 3 when installed and authorized. There IS something that should be coming down the line - actually a couple things... :)
I use the other amplitubes, especially the Hendrix one. What I can say get a firewire interface and run it at 24/96. I use the Firepod. You get great sound results from that alone, however get a small decent tube preamp such as GrooveTubes Brick in front of your interface. I have found that really makes Amplitube sing. Infact I will crank the preamp and cut the drive on Amplitube down by about 1/3 and it will get the same amount of Distortion/OD but with an ultra real Tone! Enjoy!
@MrArgiee you don't have to have a USB audio interface but using onboard sound can give varying results depending on the system. If you have the program and cannot set it up to use your existing soundcard, please log on to our site and contact support and they will help you. Thanks!
the most important thing is you need somthing to take it from inst. level signal to line level. i fully recomend using a usb or firewire interface most have inst. level input's and with the right drivers and a decent computer you will have maybe 8 ms of latency which is undetectable
@Jujucaster1 make sure your "mix" dial on your interface is turned all the way wet if it has one. this is prob my fav guitar amp sim, it seems more precise than amplitube 3. i use it for writing late at night when i can't turn up my amp, so don't give up on it yet. p.s. i personally think line 6 stuff sounds too clean, this plugin feels nice and gritty. it's all taste.
Played with Amplitube Fender and find that it's not that authentic in my opinion. Good for recording if you don't have mics, but if you do I would recommend just trying to get good sounds out of your amps.
This is interesting. I have Amplitude and it's okay tone wise though I really dislike the 'slippy' interface when selecting a pre set. All the IK guitar products have the same problem....sort it out!
@kmychalolbb Make sure you check both sets of stomps and both sets of rack FX. If you have, then contact support and they will help you figure out what's going on
I'm using Yamaha THD3 on Flat it is working ok, ref one of your previous sugestions to contact your technical people, I did that for tips on downloading and using the THD3 you just get one liners and if you go back and ask again they just fob you off with go to the frequently asked questions. Not very helpful at all.
I've been fiddling with Amplitube since yesterday and it sounds excellent. Are there any plans to turn the amp models into Rack Extensions for Reason? A lot of people would be haooy about that :)
Hi, we use our own audio interfaces to make our videos usually. Please check out www.ikmultimedia.com for all of our interfaces and other products. Thanks!
Make sure you are getting a good signal into AmpliTube - if you'd like to consult other IK users who can help with things like gain staging and tips, please check our official forum at www.ikmultimedia.com/forum
@Jujucaster1 sounds like something isn't set up correctly. You shouldn't hear the dry sound at all. Please contact support and they'll get you sorted out. thanks.
can somebody help me?i downloaded this but whenever i play a note i only hear the note like 3 seconds after i play it.i am using a shitty amp with a usb mic in front of my amp but the whole thing goes haywire.
I've been having problems registering on you website to download this. I just bought a Fender Mustang 3 and the software is only a download, no hard copy.
Dear ikmultimedia, I have Amplitube 3, Focusrite Scarlett interface, Presonus Eris E5 monitors and a Suhr HSS. Despite following settings on countless demos on UA-cam my guitar sounds horrible and can't get close to the sounds I'm hearing on these videos. As for the Hendrix pack all amps sound terrible, complete waste of money. Where do I even start in trying to diagnose why it all sounds so bad? Can't get close to an SRV driven tone or the Hendrix fuzz sound from Voodoo Child etc.
It sounds like there may be a setting somewhere either in the software or with your interfaces, so I'd suggest consulting IK support at www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/mi/ and I'm sure they can give you some guidance and get you up and running and sounding better.
ikmultimedia I have the same issues with the Hendrix pack just noise! Nothing really like Hendrix as far as I can tell. Very misleading product. And to think the amount I paid for it im then prompted to BUY add ons. This is appalling as I paid £30 for it then discovered I have to pay an extra £10 for mic settings. This should be changed.
you must do something wrong.all packs incl. hendrix pack sounds great to me.no more noise as usual. look at your interface, cable ,etc. there must be something wrong.
In the Fender 1/2 series, we decided on the lot picked by Fender themselves, but we do appreciate the idea! Keep an eye out for future models 🤘 Did you know, some of the first Silver Face were the same on the inside as the original units? 🤯 Of course, after the newer Silver Faces had acquired their own character due to component shortages, and some changes by the new owners, but we thought that was a pretty cool bit of info. What's your favorite Silver Face model and why? 🤔

Yes, with AmpliTube X-GEAR. AmpliTube X-GEAR comes FREE with the purchase of any "Powered by AmpliTube" product.

@srla2020 You need an audio interface with a Hi-Z / Instrument input - we make three interfaces: StealthPlug, StealthPedal, and StompIO for example.
@PaisleyFan7 if it is a good audio interface that has a proper Hi-Z connection it would work. Make sure you have the latest drivers.
Yes, AmpliTube is 64-bit - your post did not allow us to reply directly, though, krovere5
@Jujucaster1 I look forward to a video response or some A/B clips showing that :)
@Jujucaster1 make sure your "mix" dial on your interface is turned all the way wet if it has one.

Just like when real cars were brought into car games...this brings in real amps, no more "AC Box", "Citrus", and "Plex". Ah the joy!
AmpliTube will save its presets into AmpliTube on your computer.
This is interesting. I have Amplitude and it's okay tone wise though I really dislike the 'slippy' interface when selecting a pre set.

only thing missin is the hot rod deluxe
@kmychalolbb Make sure you check both sets of stomps and both sets of rack FX. If you have, then contact support and they will help you figure out what's going on
You need to have a low latency interface with ASIO drivers, such as StealthPedal or StealthPlug.
I'm using Yamaha THD3 on Flat

That should have been THR10
Mine came free with my Fender Mustang I in a CD with Abelton Live
It's a dream coming true.

Not at this time, but the suggestion has been forwarded. Thank you!
Thanks for the reply...I got it figured out.
can you combine all of the different amplitubes?
I got a question...
How can I turn off the Phaser??? It's not in the racks or in the stomps...
I am amazed about the authentic sound of the fender amps at my desctop with fender amlify. kieran
Hello Great sound! Please tell me this recording was made with a microphone preamp?
Hi, we use our own audio interfaces to make our videos usually. Please check out www.ikmultimedia.com for all of our interfaces and other products. Thanks!
I have lice interfaces do not provide such a sound as in this video

do you need a pre-amp before going into the computer (mic input) ?
@Jujucaster1 sounds like something isn't set up correctly. You shouldn't hear the dry sound at all. Please contact support and they'll get you sorted out. thanks.

I've been having problems registering on you website to download this. I just bought a Fender Mustang 3 and the software is only a download, no hard copy.

You can update to AmpliTube 4 Custom Shop in which these will run and is free.
