Hi Kayla! So - you blew my mind TWICE today!!! I'm watching this video and can't wait to try a tumbler with vinyl! I usually do sublimation tumblers - so this will be something different for me. BUT I just downloaded the ColorPick eyedropper extension onto my computer and I'M SO PUMPED!!!!! I also didn't know how to use the color sync properly and now I do!!! I have honestly learned so much from you today! Thank you so much!!!! Not only are your projects amazing - but you definitely have a great knowledge of design space!

There’s definitely a lot of steps for beginners and I’m sure can look overwhelming. I’d probably recommend trying it without layering the gold vinyl on top first. I think that was the trickiest step for me.

Wow! I have watched other videos on how to use registration lines before and i made attempt and FAILED. Watched this video…went into design space and picked a random image that had 7 layers and did as you did and it WORKED. This is a game changer!!! I make shirts for my little one all the time with images that have many layers and its tough to get everything lined up perfectly..this def helped. Thank you for the lesson😀

Well, they might be printing on printable vinyl using ECO solvent ink; like I am going to try. That’s my best guess

I'm a rookie and your video taught me several new things I didn't know. Btw, Dollar Tree used to sell these glasses. They also have smaller ones too that are usually half the price of the larger ones. They are rarely properly marked as costing less. Some have the Coca-Cola logo on them so they actually look like cans. Some do not. Check to see if your nearby store has them. They have a lot of name brand glasses sold individually there. Best selection is in the larger format stores that have several freezer cases along the back wall.

Hi Kayla. A little tip to make things even quicker/easier. When you do a color sync, you can hold your cursor down on the color and move all of the pumpkin outlines at one time instead of one at a time. I love your design! PS Thanks for the colorpick tip!!

I love how you incorporate so many Cricut design features that I would never use..(basically because I don’t really know how they can help).. question though.. what does the guide do that just placing images down doesn’t do? I would have done all of the steps like separating layers,etc..

Hi! This video was so helpful! I’m new with all the Cricut stuff 😅. I do have some questions. Why do you have to change the color in design space to the color of the vinyl you will be using? Won’t it still cut out the same if you don’t change the color?

hey so i tried this method with the black squares to help line everything up but for some reason when they printed they weren’t exactly in the same spot so my vinyl was a little off. i centered them and everything, do you know why this happened? thanks!

Hi, Kayla. Will your template work for any 16 oz design? I know that the glasses vary in size. But I bought 2 16 oz blank templates on Etsy. They're different sizes. Idk which one to use.
Can you do all of the pieces in Designspace on an iPad? I recently decided to get a Chromebook and completely blanked that you can't use Designspace with it so I'm hoping to work off an iPad, but I know some functions are not available.

Sorry for just writing back but it’s a subscription that you pay monthly or yearly. It’s $9.99 a month and you receive across to tons of images and fonts in Cricut design space. Here’s a link to it with more info: cricut.pxf.io/7m6n1Y I do find images online as well but still find that Cricut access is worth it for me. They used to have a free 30 day trial. I’m not sure if they still do that or not. I’ll have to look into it!
