Back in the pre internet days TOTP was a huge deal in the UK. It was also a rare chance to see gorgeous pop stars like Belinda in action!

One of her best songs. Great pop from the tail end of the golden era of music. You know what they say about the new decade starting two years in. By this measure this 1991 classic counts as part of the eighties!

Loved all Belindas songs
Although this wasn't a huge chart topper this is among Carlisle's best written songs she's written and although this album came out in 91 it had a late 80's vibe but two years too late which no question would've been a chart topper for her. But it was changing due to a new movement which very much crushed that but Belinda still had a draw overseas which no doubt they embraced this one need to hear this again.
Belinda didn't write the song, it was Rick Nowels.

I love this single and the album !!! It came out right before my 9th birthday. This record is my favorite of Belinda's. Wilder Shores and Runaway Horses I adore as well but Live Your Life Be Free album solidified me as a fan and at a young age. I've continuesly played that album throughout the rest of my life. I've also made sure to see both Belinda solo and with The Go-Go's many many times!!! She is a part of my ❤ and very much a significant musical thread of my life.

Saw her in about '98 or '99 I think, in Bradford at the Town and Country (marquee), she never missed a note all night.Fantastic concert, and just so glad I managed to see her. She was supported by Kirk Brandon from 'Spear of Destiny' ahh great days

This one took a while to grow on me, but it has. An eighties sounding power pop song with a sort of Motown vibe to it. A little tweak here and there and groups like Martha and the Vandellas could have done it.
