Azzaro Chrome Aqua Fragrance Review
Here's my Azzaro Chrome Aqua Fragrance Review. A new flanker to the very popular Azzaro Chrome series of fragrances. I first wore Azzaro Chrome back in 1997 and have worn several of its flankers throughout the years. When I first heard about Azzaro Chrome Aqua I got excited because of the way it sounded. I also was excited about it because it was created by Jean-Christophe Herault who creates many of Mugler's Les Exceptions collection fragrances. Watch those videos here: • Top 20 Mugler Fragranc... But I quite like this new Azzaro Chrome flanker Chrome Aqua. It's very crisp and crunchy with deep, strong aromatic touches and soft marine or aquatic layers. It dries down to a nice woody vetiver scent. Not too complex but very easy to wear. If you love aromatic and aquatic fragrances you will like this one. I bought it the second my Macy's had it available and I absolutely, absolutely love it.. My wife loves it too, citrus and spice with freshness and just all around clean... One of favorites and will be for years to come

Is it anything like Sauvage or Dylan Blue it seems like the different fragrance houses are using that DNA. Those two are god awful to me especially Dylan Blue its something in that fragrance that literally turns my stomach

Thanks for reviewing this! I’ve never purchased or been into any of the Chrome fragrances, but I received a sample & was amazed at how pleasant this was & purchased a bottle. It’s still not listed on Fragrantica - neither under the Azzaro Chrome Collection, nor under Jean-Christophe Herault’s creations. Definitely under the radar for a super quality release from a major house.
Always loved the original, went through multiple bottles over the years. Very refreshing and does attract compliments. This one sounds like a sharper version. Must try. 👍🏻
I still have vintage bottle of Azzaro Chrome Legend, but I never tried the original. This new flanker sounds very intriguing to me and is definitely going into my spring/summer list of scents to wear this year. Thanks for another great review. My favorite freshie from my own collection thus far is BDC EDP.

makes me think of santorini, greece. the azure colour of the water, with the pure white of the buildings.i do have the original, which is a classic scent imho.

Only Azzaro frag I own now is Azzaro Wanted by Night and I think it’s their best one. I definitely need to go give this a try for the spring/summer season.

Ireland had two days of warm weather and sunshine for the first time all winter 🙏 god i forgot how much i missed it , and this fragrance sounds perfect for the upcoming weather.

Started wearing Chrome in late 1990s, to this day one of my most complimented ever and to me it was the ideal work office scent

got a bottle and it's incredible for the money. very smooth blend and pleasing smell, i get that intense fresh opening followed by more of a minty/soapy vibe throughout and nuanced by the apple & aquatic touches. beautiful! :)
Yes it’s really well blended for the money I had Tom Ford costa azzura aqua and sold it off because the quality I didn’t feel was worth the asking price this smells Similar and gives the same vibe and I feel like the juice is at least equal or higher quality than the Tom Ford.
Now with spring and summer approaching soon, I’m on the lookout for a good aquatic scent. Last year it was Pacific Rock Moss. So maybe this year it will be Azzaro Chrome Aqua !
Looking forward to trying this one. I too am growing to like aquatics more and this one sounds nice and balanced.

Smelling Great Fragrance Reviews Thank goodness! For some reason, I can’t stand the metallic notes and feel ill when smelling it. I absolutely love Chrome United and Legend. I’m glad to hear that.

I've always loved aquatic fragrances on my husband, but I've never understood what exactly "marine notes" are. Seaweed? Ambergris? Shells? :) Maybe they just chop all of those up and add some alcohol and let them macerate! :)

Great review. The best flanker imho is Azzaro Chrome Sport. Similar to Versace Man Eau Fraiche but better.

I don't think this one can be selling well.
I've just bought 100ml from a Debenhams store in Lichfield here in the UK.
Retail is £44 and I've just paid £25 for it.
It smelled great to me on a card tester and I decided to buy without a proper skin test simply because I've had great and happy results with all the Azzaros I've bought previously.
Only the Silver Black left me underwhelmed.

I have not tried the original Chrome or any of the flankers. This one sounds great for spring/summer.
I already have a very nice fall/winter lineup, but struggle to find a summer fresh fragrance that works for me. I like that this one does not have bergamot listed. I tried the original and it wasn't bad, but not great. Chrome Aqua has me very curious. Really look forward to your video releases, now.

Sounds interesting. Btw with you getting into more aquatics give Xerjoff 40 knots a try if you haven't already, its kind of a gourmand aquatic salty and creamy green and citrus.

I'll admit, it's a surprise, considering it's a flanker of Chrome and from the notes, looked like just another Invictus Aqua wannabe, but who'da thunk it? Chrome was the first fragrance I smelled that made me say, "THIS IS WHAT A MAN SHOULD SMELL LIKE!!!!".
Have you tried the 2017 and later versions of Chrome? You might be saying, "this is what air freshener should smell like" I don't think it lasts more than 90 minutes and MAYBE 4-5 hours as a skin scent. It performs more like a aftershave/cologne than an edt.
Tried it today at Macy’s. Not bad, not bad at all!

I had some reviews on the old channel for the D&G's but unfortunately, haven't done any on them on the current channel. And I have never reviewed the Prada Exclusives, unfortunately! Maybe one day though we shall see! :)

Unfortunately not really selling my decants. I picked up a bottle of DHI and have been using in place of DHP. Sad day but it's hard to find these days. I'm going back to Europe in April and hope to find a few bottles to bring back as I want to have a backup of several bottles.

I have a 2017 bottle of Chrome and it's no stronger than an aftershave or cologne. I was very disappointed as I remember it as pretty long lasting. Someone is going to have to start the ball rolling and advocate that IFRA is destroying the beauty of wonder of fragrances. I was never a fan aquatics either (Cool Water is one of my least favorite fragrances) but I'm also starting to appreciate them. I should say I really enjoyed Claiborne Sport when it came out.
What kind of performance do you get from Chrome? How about Chrome Aqua? Did I miss the performance rating in this review? If i's another 2 hour job, forget it. Azzaro is distributed by the Clarins Group. From my experience with Clarins and Mugler, it seems they're run on a shoestring budget. I get the feeling they have very few employees in the USA based on their customer service or lack thererof. Read some of the employee reviews.
