This was probably one my favorite season finale episodes. It's still crazy to think that the 3 bullies who tormented Daniel in his teen years are now teaming up like some bad ass Avengers to take out a common enemy. Daniel ending Silver with the "Quick Silver" method was beautiful irony & then the Crane Kick that put Silver down, which Silver talked so much trash about in KK3, was such poetic justice. So relieved that Chozen pulled through, that katana slice was brutal. The ending honestly felt movie quality, like it was the end but it's not the end. Such a great way to end the season. Netflix hasn't confirmed a season 6 yet but I'm sure they will. Kreese is still out there, Carmen & Johnny's baby storyline is still open, & they still have the Sekai Taikai to deal with. No Way Netflix doesn't green light a 6th season.
There are many world theories- One of them is that Terry Silver has an illness. 1. Why was he at the hospital? 2. The floor he was on is where heavily sick people get treatment. 3. In this episode he says he isn't afraid to die. I have a theory what next season will be. Sensei Kim(the female Cobra Kai sensei) will find Kreese. Evidence: 1. When she arrived to the valley, she asked where Kreese was. Silver told her he won't be joining us, and she seemed upset. 2. Kreese will be wanting revenge on Daniel and Johnny for screwing him over while he was in jail. 3. Kim and Kreese will meet up and start a new dojo(wherever the tournament takes place) and take Cobra Kai’s place in the Sakai Takai.
I would honestly consider this the best season of the show so far. There’s not a bad episode in the bunch it’s so fun and we get great moments like Robbie and Miguel becoming friends and it’s just so good!
They did have a Miyagi moment. Just before Terry and Daniel fight for the last time, Daniel talks about Miyagi-do having strong roots and so the tree will survive.
Have you guys ever noticed that the two generations of boys are basically the TMNT?: - Leonardo, Michaelangelo, Raphael, and Donatello - Daniel, Mike Barnes, Johnny and Chozen - Miguel, Robby, Hawk, and Demitiri Let's Ignore Chozen has Sais though, we are talking about personality and what they represent in their team. IE: -The leader, the wild card, the hot headed brauler, and the support respectively.
I watch this reaction a lot because I just love their passion for the show. But that moment when Eric and Aaron both stand up when they realize Johnny is about to get back up is so great.
Just a phenomenal last episode. You guys got me into this show and it’s been an absolute joy to watch it with you. I really hope you guys get to have a cameo in the tournament.
The Mighty Ducks analogy at 48:33 was so great. 😂 I love y'all. I was looking forward to this reaction since I first watched this episode and it was everything I hoped it'd be. Thanks for getting me into this show!
It’s awesome & legendary to see Johnny, Chozen, and Mike teaming up all together to take down Terry!! Especially that we got see all 3 of them with Daniel!! I really thought Kreese died until it turned out to be part of his escape plan!! I’m glad Chozen survived and not die!! Daniel got to use the crane kick and the Quicksilver method to take him down!!
"Who's this fvck?" You guys keep asking every season. That's RED, a Cobra Kai student since season 2. His brother is a Miyagi-Do student. For 3 seasons, there was sibling rivalry between them.
Chozen was drunk as fuck and terry still had to wait until his back was turned to beat him like wtf. Also Eric's energy is infectious love these reactions!
Great reaction as always! You guys did not disappoint. Probably my favourite reaction I have seen for S5 yet. You guys understand the show perfectly. Both how great it is as well its corniness (which in my opinion its just part of its charm) Cobra Kai has to be without a doubt one of the most entertaining shows out there. "I cannot believe Karate Kid lead to this" EXACTLY. The writers of this show are absolutely brilliant and deserve all the praise for creating not 1 but 5 seasons that are of top notch quality. All the seasons have been consistently amazing and entertaining with great writing and even better characters. Whether its the legacy characters they somehow made even better than they originally were or the 'New generation kids' who are all brilliant in their own right. Such a marvelous and fun show it is. Cannot wait to see what they are gonna do for the next season.
When we saw the flashback of young Kreese and Silver training, that little girl that smiled back at Kreese when he winked at her, was young Kim....Kim likes Kreese and expected him to meet her at the plane. Kreese has a friend in Kim. She'll help him. Kreese will be back! The writing for this show is on par with The Walking Dead..especially redemption arcs. Loved S5, love your reaction guys.
I'm glad someone else thought that. I mentioned this on another reaction and they thought I was dumb. She knew him. And if you notice in the episode before Kreese tells Tory "there is an endgame" then literally the episode ends and the next begins with her asking about him.
i'd like to think that this show helped revive ian thomas griffith's career. at this age, he now has the perfect look for a certain leader of a mutant brotherhood. he could even have been cast as a certain thunder god of the outer realms.
I loved how Hawk was able to talk about how you win some and lose some no matter how great of a martial artist you are,you can still be beaten but you just gotta move on from that. Hawk was right that Kyler kept on bullying them even though the victims he bullied (Hawk,Demetri & Miguel) all pretty much beaten Kyler up. Funny how Hawk/Eli,Demetri & Miguel thought that from S1 that they were never get the girls (Sam,Moon & Yasmine) but by now they’re now dating them. Goes to show how girls mostly likes the smart guys than Kyler & his guys because even though Kyler was dating Sam at first, but Miguel (one of the people Kyler bullied) was the one who ended up with her instead. I didn’t think Yasmine would get with Demetri but even though Demetri is a bit nerdy and likes to reference people to characters,Demetri DOES HAVE A GOOD HEART. So I see why Yasmine would date him. By the way I love how Hawk was able to throw and catch the iPad because the device could of slipped but Hawk was able to catch it. I loved how that Miguel & Robby’s rivalry and Sam & Tory’s rivalry was over and was fighting together instead of against each other because the way that Miguel was able to save Robby from Kenny & the other Cobra Kai’s students and how Sam was able to save Tory from Kim. Represents how that yes you had a bad past with that person but when you let that hate go and helped them, you can end your rivalry for good and have more honor, respect & compassion. I really want to see Sam,Tory,Miguel & Robby fighting together because that would be EPIC. Also a Hawk,Robby,Miguel & Demetri fighting together also because all of the students are SKILLED FIGHTERS. By the way does anyone think that Johnny is going to marry Carmen? Because since he is already having a baby with her and is in love with her. And how Johnny also loves Miguel and looked out for him along the way. It would be amazing since Robby & Miguel’s rivalry has ended and are good now, they would be amazing step-brothers. I loved how Chozen was able to redeemed himself even though he was a jerk in KK2 but realize his wrong doings and became much better. He helped Miyagi-Fang’s students,Johnny,Daniel and all of his friends to take down Silver and also ALMOST DIED just to defend them & the honour of Mr Miyagi is well redeemed. I was happy that Chozen and Kumiko was able to make up,I didn’t know that Chozen had a crush on her but I think that was one of the reasons why Chozen didn’t like Daniel back in the day because the rival of your uncle (Mr Miyagi) who brought their student (Daniel) is now hitting on the girl you like might of crushed him. But I was glad that Chozen realize no one can take honour from you only yourself can take it. I loved the lessons he taught that was able to come in handy with the Miyagi-fang’s students. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for S6.
As for Yasmine. Her being humbled by Aisha really helped. She saw how bad she really was when she was on the receiving end for once. She was forced to do a project with Demitri which caused her to build an appreciation for what people can make.
I know this is an old video, but I just love how amped you guys get for this show. I once co-ran a film review page on instagram, and Martin Kove (Kreese) liked our review of this show! I've loved Cobra Kai on a different level since and it's great to see that passion elsewhere! Keep up the great work Wave Squad!
I would say the cop was going to say Kreese escaped. Detectives and street cops probably wouldn't know so soon that an inmate was killed in jail, but they would all know about an escaped inmate. Also I don't know how in trouble Silver would be. People broke into his house and his business. The Stingray stuff would be bad, but he's a poor witness he accused another person of the crime already. In fact Stingray would probably get jail time for lying under oath. Kreese also might not get in trouble for his escape if the truth comes out and he never should have been in prison in the first place.
*I friggin LOVE this show and your reactions to it!* 🖤🖤🤍🤍🖤🖤🤍🤍🖤🖤👊🥋🐍 Kreese! Again! This is just so awesome! I love Hawks way of fighting. He kicks and at the end of the kick he gives it a little extra strength, don't know how to explain it properly but this is so good to watch from a viewer's point of view in a choreographed fight. And I love how Dimitri is able to fight back properly now. They are all just so likeable. Even the bad ones are likeable because they are so good at being bad. This show is just awesome and I really second you three sitting in the tournament audience in a future season. That would be great! 👏👏👏
It's crazy how Mitch decided to team up with Kyler (the guy who got him kicked out of Cobra Kai in the first place) P.S. Since you're done with this season, please try to react to the Paper Tigers movie as it's very similar to Cobra Kai plus 3 Ninjas and features a surprise cameo from this show.
People always forget that Stingray was one of the OG Cobra Kais. He's been training a LONG time. So even before factoring that he's older and bigger, he should still be a relatively accomplished fighter at this point.
John Kreese has now faked his Death, 3 Times. Lol -KK3, Terry told Miyagi and Daniel, Kreese passed away. -CK S1, Johnny told the All Valley Bored, "John Kreese is Dead." -CK S5, Kreese faked his Death to escape Prison, Investigator relayed info to Daniel and Johnny.
True! And you know what i just think after reading your post? Since Kreese has now faked his death twice (KK3 and CKS5) and was declared death by Johnny (CK S1), this could be a foreshadowing he will indeed die later later in the show. He faked now a stab wound...maybe he s gonna die because of stab wound later. Foreshadowing is liked by the writers, like in Soap Operas. Season 2: Cramens mom to Johnny: "Dont make her pregnant", now Carmen is pregnant. Season 3: Kumiko tells Daniel in Okinawa they have an other word when they do a toast with drinks. And this exposed Chozen later and let Silver know he is lying to him about being from Kyoto. So i wouldnt be surprised if Kreese indeed dies later, and if so maybe even through a knife.
I'm with Rick on this one, they showed us a glimpse of relationship between Kreese and Sensei Kims Daughter, so they could team up together in the hidden Cobra Kai Dojang in Korea, with this cool old-school mystic martial arts flair, background storys, retroscepts! Please dear Creators of the Show, give us these moments!!! Johnny needs a new job and could work in MIke Barnes rebuild furniture store etc. etc. So many great things that can still be done is this show!
I love how this show could have literally finished right here. Everything is pretty much tied up. Season 6 will have some work to do to top this finale.
We've seen the Crane Kick so many times, in Karate Kid I & II, and replayed 100 times in Cobra Kai, it's so familiar to us, that we completely forget Terry Silver has never actually seen it before and didn't know it exists. As Miyagi said, "if do right, no can defense." But doing it right isn't about you so much as it is about the opponent. It's such a fake-out move, and it only works on an opponent coming straight in. That's why trying it as a catch-all super-move completely failed against Chozen in Karate Kid II. It required exactly the same mistake Johnny made in the Karate Kid, and it's the mistake Silver made here because unlike apparently everybody else in the Karate Kid universe, he didn't know the Crane Kick existed until it got him square between the eyes.
He knew about it. In KK3 he mocked it twice when Daniel is first with him, "what you think you can rely on that Crane Crap " and the scene before Miyagi kicks Silver's Ass he goes to Daniel while Barnes beats him up "Use the Crane Danny Boy " Silver plays dirty by taking his eyes off Daniel to grab a trophy to try and hit him with a weapon when Daniel would of been defenceless. He saw this as the chance to get the Crane stance ready and took it. Like Silver says, A man can't see he can't fight
Also there is a chance that Miguel's father could be a player in next season. Learning his ex wife had a kid with the guy that you thought you had to hid from "FBI."
It is great Silver is in handcuffs and all, but realistically he probably would get out soon. As of right now they don´t really have much of a solid evidence on him. Unless the police finds more, a decent lawyer would probably get him out easy. On the other hand, pretty much everybody on the "good" side broke a law or few and Silver has hard evidence of that.
Everybody asks how they can stand up to Silver when they are drunk, but now I realize that so is he a little bit. From the end of last episode up to the start of his fight with Chozen he's has a drink in his hand. He even downed it quick before the fight.
This was freaking awesome! It was so satisfying to see Daniel kick Silver's ass. For Daniel to have finished off Silver with the crane kick, after the way they mocked it in Karate Kid 3 was so poetic. I know the kids have crazy talent, but for me it's always gonna be Daniel and then Johnny. Not too shabby for guys their age. Bad ass as it comes. Having Daniel's 3 previous arch enemies come back to defend and fight along side him was epic. So cool. Great reaction!!
Kreese didn't even need the counselors card if he had the doctor and two guards that he took out that he could take one of theirs without arousing suspicion. If he would've waited 24 hours he may have been released. I think under the Magna Carta where you make false confessions under duress of bodily harm. He only made that confession in fear of his life, so that makes his case legible. It took a season of evolution for Daniel to evolve and absolutely EXUDED and EMOTED Mr. Miyagi in that final fight. Slow and calculated and waiting for the move to come to him. I think Kim and Kreese will team up. She was expecting him when she got off the plane.
It's funny because I think it's the opposite in California guys, if someone breaks into your home and gets injured on your property in some cases they can sue you.
That was messed to have Mitch become evil again after reuniting with Chris at the end of Season 3 just become enemies with him and the Miyagi-Fangs 2 seasons later!! He must’ve rejoined Cobra Kai last episode after being called P* Breath for the last time
Show finds a way every time to surprise me, best season honestly for me, next season, if it’s the last, will be peak CK. Shoutout to Danny’s bullies standing together to help

I have a theory what next season will be.
Sensei Kim(the female Cobra Kai sensei) will find Kreese.
Evidence:
I love Cobra Kai and I love Blind Wave's reactions to Cobra Kai.
It goes to show how amazing this show is by the incredible discussions that it creates. Watching you guys theory-craft season 6 was so much fun.
Have you guys ever noticed that the two generations of boys are basically the TMNT?:
- Leonardo, Michaelangelo, Raphael, and Donatello
- Daniel, Mike Barnes, Johnny and Chozen
- Miguel, Robby, Hawk, and Demitiri
Let's Ignore Chozen has Sais though, we are talking about personality and what they represent in their team. IE:
-The leader, the wild card, the hot headed brauler, and the support respectively.
The Miyagi quote you said that was needed was there from KK3. "The roots are strong, so the tree will survive".
_Miguel had to humble that man Kenny with that kick bruh damn 😂_
It’s awesome & legendary to see Johnny, Chozen, and Mike teaming up all together to take down Terry!! Especially that we got see all 3 of them with Daniel!! I really thought Kreese died until it turned out to be part of his escape plan!! I’m glad Chozen survived and not die!! Daniel got to use the crane kick and the Quicksilver method to take him down!!
I hope the creators see this and invite Blind Wave to be extras in the audience at the tournament.
"Who's this fvck?"
You guys keep asking every season. That's RED, a Cobra Kai student since season 2. His brother is a Miyagi-Do student. For 3 seasons, there was sibling rivalry between them.
What a 10/10 season and reaction! Blind Wave is the best reaction channel on youtube! Get these men on the set of Cobra Kai❤
32:29 "That's how I wanna go. Bury me in Blind Wave merch."
That made me laugh really hard for some reason 😂
We should all buy a ton of blind wave merch and give it to the nearest Arbys to prepare
@@georgewillis592 Send them to Arby's in Colombus, Ohio to be more precise.
i'd like to think that this show helped revive ian thomas griffith's career. at this age, he now has the perfect look for a certain leader of a mutant brotherhood. he could even have been cast as a certain thunder god of the outer realms.
The casting for Magneto has been great so far. Michael Fassbender and Sir Ian McKellen.
Can’t wait to see what’s in store for S6.
ye.
As for Yasmine. Her being humbled by Aisha really helped. She saw how bad she really was when she was on the receiving end for once. She was forced to do a project with Demitri which caused her to build an appreciation for what people can make.
I love how Airbourne is like Johnny’s unofficial band
This finale was simply glorious in every way. Loved it! Agree- this may be the best season thus far. It just keeps topping itself each time.
This season is the best so far and watching you guys react to brings me even more joy seeing other people feel the same happiness as I do
The Score in this episode is so amazing
My favorite thing about this will be watching along with my sister and her and I texting each other “Guys, it is just Kids Karate!” 😂😂😂
This might be my favorite Blind Wave reaction
30:00 i think that's my favourite Daniel line ever, and the performance is perfect, Ralph is truly the Miyagi now
I know this is an old video, but I just love how amped you guys get for this show. I once co-ran a film review page on instagram, and Martin Kove (Kreese) liked our review of this show! I've loved Cobra Kai on a different level since and it's great to see that passion elsewhere! Keep up the great work Wave Squad!
I loved this reaction, it brought back all the excitement I felt watching the episode
When you realize Kreese would’ve been released had he just waited!
"I love seeing adults beat up kids!" -- Eric Whitley 2022
I like that these Sensei's are just totally down for killing some random dudes their boss is having a karate war with, no questions asked.
this is one of my favorite reaction's you guys have ever done. my face hurts from laughing at you guys freaking you.
"Where is Kreese going?"
Seattle? To see his other former comrade, Colonel Dugan played by Michael Ironside.
It's crazy how Mitch decided to team up with Kyler (the guy who got him kicked out of Cobra Kai in the first place)
P.S. Since you're done with this season, please try to react to the Paper Tigers movie as it's very similar to Cobra Kai plus 3 Ninjas and features a surprise cameo from this show.
This is one of the best episodes of tv I’ve ever seen and best reactions of Blind Wave!!!
People always forget that Stingray was one of the OG Cobra Kais. He's been training a LONG time. So even before factoring that he's older and bigger, he should still be a relatively accomplished fighter at this point.
John Kreese has now faked his Death, 3 Times. Lol
-KK3, Terry told Miyagi and Daniel, Kreese passed away.
-CK S1, Johnny told the All Valley Bored, "John Kreese is Dead."
-CK S5, Kreese faked his Death to escape Prison, Investigator relayed info to Daniel and Johnny.
Season 2:
Cramens mom to Johnny: "Dont make her pregnant", now Carmen is pregnant.
Season 3:
Kumiko tells Daniel in Okinawa they have an other word when they do a toast with drinks. And this exposed Chozen later and let Silver know he is lying to him about being from Kyoto.
So i wouldnt be surprised if Kreese indeed dies later, and if so maybe even through a knife.
I'm with Rick on this one, they showed us a glimpse of relationship between Kreese and Sensei Kims Daughter, so they could team up together in the hidden Cobra Kai
Dojang in Korea, with this cool old-school mystic martial arts flair, background storys, retroscepts! Please dear Creators of the Show, give us these moments!!! Johnny needs a new job and could work in MIke Barnes rebuild furniture store etc. etc. So many great things that can still be done is this show!
I love watching you guys lose your shit left and right 😂 delightful as always ❤
What a finale, amazing!
Love how silvers just laughs at chozen whe he does the pressure points and when he laughs at danny when he say roots are strong.
31:29 Eric doing that move the same time as Daniel was amazing 🤣
Chozen: I am not afraid to kill.
Silver: I am not afraid to die.
Then Chozen almost dying
The actor who plays Mike Barnes had a shoulder injury during the filming of this episode so he couldn’t do much which is why he gets knocked out early
I love how this show could have literally finished right here. Everything is pretty much tied up. Season 6 will have some work to do to top this finale.
This is easily one of the best reactions you guys have had!
23:26 That’s a background character named ‘Big Red’, he’s actually been on the show since season 2, but this is the first time he gets to talk😂
In KK3 he mocked it twice when Daniel is first with him, "what you think you can rely on that Crane Crap " and the scene before Miyagi kicks Silver's Ass he goes to Daniel while Barnes beats him up "Use the Crane Danny Boy "
Silver plays dirty by taking his eyes off Daniel to grab a trophy to try and hit him with a weapon when Daniel would of been defenceless. He saw this as the chance to get the Crane stance ready and took it. Like Silver says, A man can't see he can't fight
This season was absolutely amazing and I loved watching the reactions I can't wait for the next season
Also there is a chance that Miguel's father could be a player in next season. Learning his ex wife had a kid with the guy that you thought you had to hid from "FBI."
Blue Beatle is gonna be so good . Xolo Maridueña is a really good actor.
It is great Silver is in handcuffs and all, but realistically he probably would get out soon. As of right now they don´t really have much of a solid evidence on him. Unless the police finds more, a decent lawyer would probably get him out easy. On the other hand, pretty much everybody on the "good" side broke a law or few and Silver has hard evidence of that.
also now Silver really wont have any limits on himself.. like he legit might kill someone for revenge. like have them shot or something.
Everybody asks how they can stand up to Silver when they are drunk, but now I realize that so is he a little bit. From the end of last episode up to the start of his fight with Chozen he's has a drink in his hand. He even downed it quick before the fight.
Sense Kim has some video game boss level dialogue!
“Let this be my final lesson to you and a more painful one then the last”
The last week was so long waiting for you guys to react to this...I'm so satisfied.
I’ve been waiting 10 weeks for this
This was freaking awesome!
The Seikai Taikai guy was the iceland coach in Might Ducks 2
The Miyagi-do technique Silver once mocked as "crane crap" poetically ended him and his hold over Cobra Kai.
And hopefully broke his hold on Daniel
Johnny: sees his baby's picture
Cobra kai senseis: why do i hear boss music?
It's funny because I think it's the opposite in California guys, if someone breaks into your home and gets injured on your property in some cases they can sue you.
That was messed to have Mitch become evil again after reuniting with Chris at the end of Season 3 just become enemies with him and the Miyagi-Fangs 2 seasons later!! He must’ve rejoined Cobra Kai last episode after being called P* Breath for the last time
Show finds a way every time to surprise me, best season honestly for me, next season, if it’s the last, will be peak CK. Shoutout to Danny’s bullies standing together to help
I love the sound effects in the sword fight it sounds like an old samurai movie.
11:04 as someone who lives in California, I can definitely say that those type of people definitely live here. Probably not as much as Ohio, but they're here.
28:10
This is one of my favourite parts.
Aaron: Watch out for the sword.
Eric: Johnny's fighting for his fuckin' life.
(Min-Jun cuts O'Dell's pinkie finger)
Aaron: *OH, SHIT!!!!!*
Rick: *OHHHHHH, SHIT!!!!!!!!!!*
Eric: *OH, HE CUT HIS FINGER!!!!!!!!!!*
Aaron: *OHHHHHHHH, SHIT!!!!!!!!!!*
Rick: *FUCK, NOOOOOOOO!!!!!*
Eric: *O'DELL!!!!!!!!!!*
