Congratulations on your beautiful home! We just bought our first home a few years ago and had the horrible sulfur smell. They recommended we pour 1 gallon of bleach in our well and then let the water run until you couldn’t smell the bleach anymore and it completely got rid of the sulfur smell for very cheap! We have been here 3 years now and it has never come back! I hope that helps and again congratulations very excited for you all!
Yes that's exactly what we did too. Got rid of the sulfur smell. We also had a new well. Smells like a swimming pool until the bleach runs through the system (about 2 days) then the water is perfect...the home place and well company recommended this method and it only cost $6 for the bleach😊

You might need to put a water filtration system in for your sulfur water. We have one for our well water and the only time it starts to smell is when the filters need to be cleaned or replaced which is about every 9-13 months.

You don’t need to suffer with sulphuric water- it’s horrible and will ruin all your white clothes & lines. They make water softeners- get yourselves one ASAP
Nathan should never have to mow with all your kids..lol...time and money will get things done
Hey Jessica,,at the $ tree,,in the hardware section they have really nice white dish towels,,I think they're 2 or 3 in a pkg,,they're actually bar-towels but I love them 4 dishes & cleaning,,just an idea 💡 & they'll save money too,,gl with the move ❤

Actually, well water can be pretty rough on your hair. I learned this when I had city water my entire life and then at the age of 58 we moved rural and had propane gas and well water. A water softener was a must for us. It can change your laundry too. It is really good to use a purifying shampoo about every other wash. I am soo excited for you all... Welcome home!!!! 🏠🐮🌾💐💖🙏
I’m in eastern NC and grew up catching lightning bugs. We put them in a canning jar with holes in the top. Of course, we would let them go after a bit. What memories! So excited for all of you.
It is a real blessing to not have a T. V. You kids will enjoy the outside more, read and lots of other things. Congratulations on moving to the country.
My sister in law has a Well, when they had theirs dug, they had that smell and had to put bleach in the well. It made it go away. They also have a filter underneath their sink in the kitchen…however the bleach eliminated the sulfur problem when it was new.

i don't know if your interested but the Goodwill has a Lot of nice items that you can use at a good price. coming from a large family my Mom saved lot of money buying small appliances and clothes for 6 kids.
I have tmobile 5g wifi. Its $50 month. The modem runs off a wireless signal same as a cell phone. You dont have to have Tmobile phone service to get the wifi. You can order service online & the modem arrives quickly in 2 or 3 days. I havent had any issues

Most everyone has an insta pot. I’m surprised you didn’t already have one. I Love it!! My slow cooker is fine.
We developed a piece of property last year and had to go to an office in that county and request a 911 address which became the address to the property so if you haven’t figured that part out yet it may be the same in your area. Hope this helps ❤

So happy for you! Get lots of Gatorade I’m sure it is really hot there! Especially for the kids too, because they don’t realize when they are dehydrated! The couch looks nice like that and gives more room for seating!
Nathan doesn’t have any friends that can come and help him with the heavy stuff? Did you get the driveway in to keep the dirt from get all in the house? If not maybe some big mats in the front and the side door? Where are your sunglasses? Please put them in, it’s so important for the protection of your eyes. People don’t realize, not at your age, but as you get older if you don’t wear them now the light when your driving will really bother you! It happened to me. So happy you have that big kitchen island I know you were really excited for that! Doesn’t have storage inside or electrical outlets for things like mixers and waffle makers? Are you going to hire someone to clean your uncles house real good to thank him for letting you use it? That would be really nice, and I’m sure you don’t have the time or energy! Just can’t wait to see you guys sit down for your first meal or table surprises for the kids! This seems like a dream come true! I don’t love my old house, but we will pay it off in 3 months and I just can’t wait! It’s like a dream come true! Maybe then maybe we can fix all the broken things we haven’t had the money for in the past and we need a new car!

Can you get star link for now, that’s what people use that travel. Oh! A hot spot is good but I know you need to download your videos. Everyone you will understand you have son much to do, don’t worry about the timing of your videos.
Also get a big pack from Costco or Sam’s for the mosquitoes! And plenty of sunscreen since you will be outside so much!

Bless her heart. We've been praying for y'all and we'll continue to. I was worried about y'all the other day when I heard Pennsylvania was getting severe weather.

We did have a pretty bad storm here the other night branches down, my lawn chairs were flipped over and some blown across the yard etc. But no big damage. We are Floridians and have never seen lightning bugs until the last few years. We were in North Central Florida. I never remember seeing them growing up!

We had the same problem when we moved here 19 yrs ago ( in June). Our home was the 3rd house here. Our land was the place where Demi Moore’s trailer sat while filming GI Jane on the next road over…back before it was built up here. I said that to say, we have to have a septic tank removed before we could even build because there was a code problem. It was the one used for all the trailers for actors, etc. But Demi Moores was actually one our property. After we moved in, I found some toys in our dirt…tiny doll (I kept) and few other little cars and things. Thunder Road ( the next street over outside of our neighborhood was where GI Jane was filmed.
Our other home..in a secured neighborhood ( quite a bit larger home…we had to sell because I got sick) there were odds and ends from the actual Civil War found as the building of that neighborhood took place. There were also wild animals that were misplaced and would show up in our back yard. We had a larger lots there. The homes that were built behind that home weren’t there yet, so these critters would wonder in our yard. It was scary at times. That was in the late ‘90’s. There’s a lot of history in our little town.
I am very happy you have made lots of progress. I pray things continue to come together.

We just got back from a four day camping trip. I’m trying to wash and put everything away. Obviously, it’s slow going getting the house cleaned up and taking care of kids at the same time. I just sat down for lunch. Watching this reminded me -it could be worse. 😂 Hope some rest is in your future.

I don't care for an instant pot personally. I bought one and then we sold it I use my regular programmable crock pot all the time. I also have a turkey roaster I use a lot because I can roast chicken and other things in it in the summer without heating up the whole house turning on the oven. I'm so happy your family is getting settled into your new home💐

When using your instant pot as a crock you NEED to make sure the valve IS NOT sealed. I couldn’t figure out why mine wasn’t performing correctly 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤣

Only for a few months
You will love the instant pot, like fill it with potatoes add like half a cup water set to steam for 10 minutes and you will have baked potatoes. there is all kinds of help on line to make near everything. ENJOY
You will find that you use the instapot for many things - cooking potatoes for mash takes 5-6 min on pressure cooker mode
I can see Taylor in you. So now I know who she looks like. It's harder when you live in the country. I understand what you are going through. Love you all
We use our instapot for everything from pressure cooking to crockpot cooking- works great!
